Triple Threat! (Part 1)

(As days goes by with Bai attending school regularly, time passes in the hideout of the 15 Ghouls where lower ranked Ghouls were spectating an ongoing slaughter on a genetically engineered Ghoul by the Ghoul scientist himself.)

"Triple Ghoul: Tell me more on this new Ghoul, Saul."
"Saul: Well, this new Ghoul is able to drain the life force out of any target within its sights. Uh, it currently holds two awakened blessings, the Venom Blessing and the Echo Blessing. And according to their records, they are S ranked Blessings... While Venom surpasses Echo in being the most dangerous."
"Triple Ghoul: I shall test the subject myself."
"Saul: ...!"
"Triple Ghoul: ENOUGH!"

(As all Ghouls gave their attention to the Triple Ghoul, he walked down to the battling ring and removed himself of his armor and readies himself in a combat stance.)

"Triple Ghoul: Fight me as I am your enemy, GO!"

(As the test Ghoul roars and rushes towards the Triple Ghoul, the ghoul was then countered by an overhead arm drag while continuously its attacks were countered and thrown back at him. The test Ghoul separates within some distance and spits snot loaded rockets of venom as the Triple Ghoul blocks on intentionally to test the venom while continuing to fight. As everyone watched on in silence and awe that they experienced the Triple Ghoul in combat, the test Ghoul was then thrown on his side and catches himself on all fours. As four frills then opens on the Ghoul's body, the Triple Ghoul covered his ears quickly along with the spectators to release a bloodcurdling scream with the Echo Blessing. As the sound was so defending, the Triple Ghoul was immediately losing balance out of disorientation then was smacked onto the ground with the back of the test Ghoul's razor sharp tail as the Triple Ghoul hardens his skin for ten seconds before getting back on his feet and fighting aggressively with martial art attacks. Within mere moments, the test Ghoul was then backed into a corner, throws a left punch but was countered with a kick to the liver, suffers a flying knee to the face and in mid-air, the Triple Ghoul delivered a spinning back axe kick while implanting the back of his foot onto the face of the test Ghoul creating a medium sized crater as the spectators cheered once again for the Triple Ghoul. Meanwhile Saul was panicking that the Triple Ghoul could've killed his subject. As the Triple Ghoul raises his hand for silence, he'd call forth Saul.)

"Triple Ghoul: Saul. You've never failed to impress me. Is he prepared for actual combat, no restrictions?"
"Saul: There are a few more tests I'd like to run but we could do a test drive!"
"Triple Ghoul: ...Send this Ghoul to Japan. We'll focus on my pathetic brother later, let's put him against the Sun Blessing user, Kokei Uesaka."

(As the test Ghoul then awakens, he awaited Saul's command.)

"Saul: Alright um... Gonu!"
"Gonu (Unranked Ghoul | Power: Venom Blessing, Echo Blessing): Your target is Kokei Uesaka of the Japanese Mercenary Association. Attack, not kill. This is my command until further instruction."

(As Gonu then roars, he'd then burst out of the hideout on all fours, rushing his way to Japan across the seas. Meanwhile, Kokei was called forth by the Mercenary Association to be promoted.)

"Harigae Sotan (J.M.A Roundtable Executive Leader | Power: None): Mr. Uesaka. After nineteen years of service as a Mercenary of the association, you've defeated over four thousand Ghouls throughout your career. And for years, you've declined the opportunity to advance to the X-Rank of the Mercenary Association. Me and the roundtable has wanted to ask, why do you continue to decline such an opportunity?"
"Kokei: ...I see no further point in ascending if I've already hit the ceiling. I'm strong with and without my blessing, but I'd rather not outclass my Mercenary superiors."
"Harigae: I see. Then aside from that, we'd like to congratulate and thank you for being an active Mercenary for nineteen years. We've agreed to allow you, Uesaka Kokei to enjoy a paid monthly vacation as a chance for you to rest and relax."
"Kokei: ...! But I honestly can't take that...! There are Ghouls on every corner!"
"Kikyo Ichi (J.M.A Roundtable Executive | Power: None): There may be Ghouls roaming the streets of Japan, but this does not restrict you from performing your Mercenary duties. All we insist is that you do not take any commissions or jobs from the association until your vacation has ended."
"Kokei: Now I get it. In that case, I thank you all dearly. I will take this time and use it to rest."
"Harigae: We look forward to seeing you again once your vacation is up."

(As Kokei was officially on vacation, he'd take the time to focus once again on finding his missing sister while walking with Negan, the two walked and talked while running errands. Suddenly in the distance, a Spirit user whom was tracking Kokei Uesaka has summoned her Control Spirit and whispered instructions into its ear. As Negan and Kokei were away within the Association's sights, the Spirit user summons a domain-like sphere to surround the area as Negan and Kokei were immediately on guard, knowing a Spirit user was in the vicinity.)

"Kokei: Negan, can you sense them?"
"Negan: It's only one."
"???: Kokei Uesaka."

(Out of the shadows of the domain was ripped cloak and fancy suit wearing, war-faced female individual with a furry sheath for his sword staring down the two.)

"Negan: You know her?"
"Kokei: ...She's a representor for the 7th House of the Temple... The Narihira Clan's Yozuri Narihira. Or given by her codename, Sanguine."
"Yozuri Narihira (Member of the Narihira Clan | Power: Control Spirit): Uesaka. The Temple Leaders are wishing to make an audience with you at this very moment. You're coming with me."
"Negan: Whoa whoa... That's not how you politely ask people to come with you. Where's the softer tone? Where's the compassion and understanding?"
"Yozuri: I have no obligation to be kind to a fool who's family has decided to take in a Ghoul!"
"Kokei: ...!"
"Negan: So you know about the kid? Fess up, who told you?"
"Yozuri: I'm not obligated to say anything to you either, Negan Zhihao! If you will not comply to come with me, Kokei Uesaka. I will drag you with me by force!"

(In the distance, a loud echoing roar was heard as windows were shattering, car alarms were blaring and in the sky was the shadow of a Ghoul on all fours entering the domain by force. After breaking through, Yozuri's sphere domain was shattered as the Ghoul stared down Kokei and looked at Yozuri and Negan. As things looked to be a three way fight, Yozuri places her hand on her sword and looked at the Ghoul whom was only to target Kokei.)

"Negan: Seems like my errands will have to wait..."
"Kokei: I'd rather not get you involved with this Negan, this will be my fight."
"Negan: You sure? Just say the word and I'll end this now."
"Kokei: That's the problem. You'll end the fight quicker than expected and besides, you got things to do so I shouldn't hold you up."
"Negan: Hm... Fair point, anyway I guess this fight's yours. As for you Narihira, I will track you if you manage to stay alive."

(As Negan then boldly walks away, neither Gonu or Yozuri would attempt in attacking them as Kokei then draws his sword and begins to fight.)

"Yozuri (Thinking): That's a Ghoul... but why is it only staring down Kokei? Eh.. No matter, I'll discard this Ghoul then take care of Uesaka myself!"
