A Rookie's First Hunting ~Demon Hunters~

Narrator: "This world is surrounded by crime, greed, and many other sins. When people gave up hope for peace there are a group of assassins that would cleanse the world. If you're truly tormented by anyone and want vengeance, then you must call upon The Sweepers and they will take vengeance for you."

The bell rings at Seven's school and the school day has ended and every student is leaving their classrooms.

Seven: "I can't keep bailing on gym classes and when I do go, I'm always the last one in the locker room and the last one out. Why did my uncle have to get me a tattoo? Huh?"

Seven notices an 11th-grade girl giving away homemade cookies to some boys.

Clarissa: "Oh I made too many cookies for the orphan kids so I was wondering if you guys would want some."

Boy Student 1: "Thanks, Clarissa!"

Boy Student 2: "Yeah thanks!"

They both eat the cookies then they are under the girl's spell.

Clarissa: (Thinking) "This time my spell should be more effective than my brother's spell."

Boy Student 2: "Hey Clarissa are you busy this Friday night?"

Boy Student 1: "Hey! I wanted to ask her out!"

Boy Student 2: "Too bad I asked her first!"

Clarissa: "Relax boys no need to fight over me."

Seven: "That's odd they're fighting over a girl they just talked to today. It's probably nothing."

As he is walking home, he notices the same girl giving away cookies to boys from other high schools and boys from universities.

Clarissa: "I made too many cookies for the orphan kids so I was wondering if you guys would want some."

Seven: (Thinking) "Again with that?"

He brushes it off even though he thinks it is strange and heads to the mansion. A flashback to May 25, 1848, Christiana is sipping coffee before she heads for school. Meadow came downstairs and kissed her hand gently.

Meadow: "Good morning my beautiful wife."

Christiana: "Good morning my sweet husband."

He continues to kiss her hand gently then kisses her fingertips.

Meadow: "I'm so happy that we're finally married."

Christiana: "Let's not forget that this week is my last week of school."

She grabs her bag and puts her boots on.

Meadow: "Wait." He pulls her close to him and has her sit on his lap. "Before you go um..."

He blushes.

Christiana: "What is it?"

Meadow: "A kiss."

They share a kiss.

Christiana: "Since when did you get embarrassed about a kiss?"

Meadow: "No um particular reason."

Christiana: "Is it because we're married now?"

Meadow blushes as they continue kissing. Harmony then hops on her lap.

Harmony: "Mi?"

Christiana: "Hm? Harmony, are you feeling lonely?"

Harmony: "Mi."

She pets her.

Christiana: "How about this? After school, we'll go out together just us girls."

Harmony: "Mi!"

Christiana: "Just us girls." She looks to see what time it is. "See you both after school."

She puts Harmony down and kisses Meadow on the cheek and goes to school. After some time went by the school day ended early.

Teacher: "Okay students I hope you all did well on your World History and English Literature exams. I hope you all will continue studying for your remainder exams this week."

Students: "Yes sir."

The bell rings.

Teacher: "Class dismissed. If you want lunch here, you can stay, if not you can go home."

All the students leave the classrooms. As Christiana is leaving, she sees some girls nearby waving at her. They went to the courtyard and the girls are laying on the grass while Christiana is standing in front of the tree with one leg and her other foot on the tree with her arms crossed.

Sarah: "It's such a nice day out today."

Celia: "It sure is I hope this day will last."

Marcie: "Yeah can you believe that we'll be second years in September."

Sarah: "Also Christiana is graduating soon."

Ana: (Thinking) "Thank God."

Celia: "Hey aren't you in the gifted program?"

Christiana: "Yes."

Ana: "What's the gifted program?"

Marcie: "It's for the first- and second-year students who are in the honor classes they can take classes at the university. By the time you finish high school, you have about one or two semesters left to earn whatever degree you choose. So pretty much you can graduate university by the time you are seventeen, eighteen, or nineteen."

Celia: "How do you know all about it?"

Marcie: "Hello I'm in two honor classes remember."

Celia: "Oh yeah."

Sarah: "You're not in the gifted program."

Marcie: "No I might be in the next school term if I'm in all the honor classes."

Celia: "I don't think I would want to go to university. I'm just gonna go straight to work after graduating high school."

Marcie notices Christiana's ring.

Marcie: "Hey what kind of ring is that?"

Christiana: "It's my engagement ring." (Thinking: "That's a complete lie.")

Sarah: "Your boyfriend proposed?!"

Christiana: "Yes."

Marcie: "Wow! You're getting married! When?!"

Christiana: "After I graduate."

Celia: "So lucky."

Ana: "Congratulations… *mutters* I bet he is marrying her out of pity most likely from him getting her pregnant."

Christiana: "For the record, I'm not pregnant."

Ana: (Thinking) "She heard that?!"

Celia: "It's good to hear that he's marrying you because he loves you."

Marcie: "You know what they say first comes love then comes marriage then comes a baby in a baby carriage."

Christiana is a bit surprised and almost blushes but hid her reaction. The flashback ends and it's back to the present. Christiana is in the park with Violet and Zachary.

Violet: "So how far are you along now boss?"

Christiana: "Almost two months."

Zachary: "Are you curious if it's going to be a boy or girl?"

Christiana: "No I'll know when the baby is born."

Sarah: "Christiana?"

Christiana: "Oh lord…"

Sarah: "Christiana? I thought that was you! How have you been?"

Christiana: "Fine…"

Sarah: "Oh it's been so long since we've seen each other."

Christiana: "Yeah…"

Celia: "I didn't think we bumped into you."

Marcie: "How have you been?"

Christiana: "Fine…"

Celia: "Marcie and I are visiting for the day."

Violet: "Really now?"

Marcie: "Yeah. So, you two must be Christiana's friends?"

Christiana: "In a way."

Zachary: "We also work together."

Sarah: "What kind of work?"

Violet: "A private business firm."

Celia: "Ah."

Christiana gets up and is about to go somewhere less crowded.

Sarah: "Christiana where are going?"

Christiana: "Morning sickness."

She leaves to go vomit.

Marcie: "Morning sickness?"

Celia: "That means she's pregnant!"

She walks back to the bench.

Sarah: "I can't believe you're pregnant!"

Celia: "I bet you're happy to be a mom soon."

Christiana: "Yes…"

Marcie: "Congratulations on being a mom."

Christiana: "Thanks…"

Celia: "Anyways we better get going."

Sarah: "Yeah I got classes to attend."

Marcie: "And I gotta catch my train."

Celia: "Me too."

They wave goodbye to them and leave.

Zachary: "Are they on drugs by any chance?"

Christiana: "No."

Violet: "No one can be that happy and preppy."

Zachary: "I see why you got nausea anyone that happy and preppy would make anyone else want to vomit."

Violet: "No kidding."

Meanwhile, Seven is at the mansion waiting for Christiana.

Seven: "What could be taking her so long?"

Angel: "If it isn't the little boy?"

Seven: "Huh?!"

Shadow: "Are you waiting for the boss little boy?"

As usual, he gets irritated by the name, he gets called all the time.

Seven: "Hey! You two aren't even that older than me! Don't call me a little boy!"

Angel: "Why not?"

Shadow: "It's a cute name for you."

Seven: "NO! IT'S NOT!"

Macy: "Are you two teasing the kid again?"

He blushes.

Seven: (Thinking) "Kid?"

Macy: "The boss should be back in a few minutes. We pretty much had to convince her to go out you know for the baby's sake."

Seven: "O-O-Oh..."

He looks down at the floor as he turns red.

Macy: "Hey what's wrong?"

Seven: "N-Nothing!"

Christiana, Violet, and Zachary came back from the park.

Violet: "Yo little boy."

Seven: "Oh God! Not this again! Will all of you call me by my actual name?! I have a name for a reason!"

Zachary: "Aren't you a wet blanket little boy."

Seven gets irritated.

Violet: "What are you doing here?"

Seven: "There's something strange going on at my school you know Hunter strange."

A flashback to May 25, 1848, Christiana is walking home from school and can't stop thinking about what Marcie said.

Marcie: "You know what they say first comes love then comes marriage then comes a baby in a baby carriage."

She blushes.

Christiana: (Thinking) "Oh God!"

She thinks about the one day she and Meadow decide to make a family of their own. She imagines Meadow untying his tie in a seductive way.

Meadow: "Mon chaton faisons un bébé*."

*Translation: "My kitty let's make a baby."

She blushes so much that she almost turns red in the face then has a bit of a nosebleed.

Christiana: "Oh God! Oh, God! Oh, God!" She uses a handkerchief to clean the blood of her. "If Meadow really said that to me, I'll let him do whatever he wants to me."

As she is walking home, she notices a chocolate shop.

Shop Owner: "Hey! Come try my homemade chocolates."

Christiana: "Chocolates?!"

Shop Owner: "Yes I have white chocolate, dark chocolate, and of course milk chocolate."

Christiana: "Milk chocolate."

She eats the chocolate one at a time as she grabs as many as possible.

Shop Owner: "My. My. You sure have a sweet tooth, don't you? Say how old are you?"

Christiana: "Seventeen."

Shop Owner: "Seventeen huh? At first, I thought you were fifteen maybe sixteen now that I good look at you I can see that you're seventeen." (Thinking: "That means she's legal.") "Oh, I can put the rest of the milk chocolate in a bag."

He puts the remainder of the chocolates in a bag.

Christiana: "The chocolates are delicious you sure know how to make chocolates."

She leaves and goes home.

Shop Owner: "It won't be long before my spell tonic is effective."

She makes it home and goes inside the second she spots Meadow the tonic in the chocolates she ate turns her eyes pink for a second. The tonic causes her to be hormonal to Meadow.

Meadow: "Oh your back."

She smiles seductively and her panties literally drop.

Christiana: "Sorry for keeping you waiting."

Meadow: "What are you talking about?"

She walks up to him and kisses him passionately on the lips and uses her tongue on the kiss. He is completely in shock by the way she is acting. Feeling that something isn't right he pulls away from her. She pouts in a cutesy way.

Christiana: "Mem Mem why did you pull away from me? The second I saw you my panties literally dropped."

He blushes.

Meadow: "I um can't right now."

Christiana: "Why not? Obviously, you wanted it why else your sword poke me."

Meadow: (Thinking) "Oh God! Oh, God! Oh, God!"

Christiana: "You know you want me, Meadow. I want your sword inside my pussy."

Meadow: "I can't I um have to hunt for blood I'm very hungry." He notices the bag of chocolates and takes them without her knowing. He leaves the house to find Piper to see what is wrong with Christiana. "To think she could use her tongue like that... Shit, I gotta find Piper to see why Christiana is acting like that."

He went to the city to see what caused her to act differently. He sees nothing out of the ordinary but sees two women fighting over the man who owns the chocolate shop.

Woman 1: "You did not just ask this hot guy out! I was going to ask him out!"

Woman 2: "Like he is into a tramp like you!"

Shop Owner: "Ladies please you don't have to fight over me."

Meadow sees more women and college girls lining up at the chocolate shop but brushes it off as if it were nothing. He went to the school to find Piper was about to leave.

Meadow: "Piper."

Piper: "Meadow? What are you doing here?"

They were walking to Piper's house.

Meadow: "Would it be okay if I stay with you for a while?"

Piper: "Did you try to attack Christiana?"

Meadow: "Very funny no I didn't."

Piper: "How come you want to stay with me and my family?"

Meadow: "Christiana isn't herself... She's well... acting like um... a hormonal teenage girl."

Piper: "Really? Well, Meadow maybe she's finally letting her hormones out."

Meadow: "What do you mean?"

Piper: "I was a teenage girl Meadow I was hormonal myself it's practically normal for teenagers to be hormonal."

Meadow: "Not Christiana she's different."

Piper: "Because she's more mature than most girls her age correct."

Meadow: "Yes I would know for a fact that if she acts differently then something is wrong."

Piper: "Was there anything that she ate or drank? Or any perfume she is wearing?"

Meadow: "She never wears perfume." He took out the bag of chocolates. "I noticed a bag of chocolates next to her school bag. Good thing that I took it."

He hands her the bag of chocolates, and she takes a piece out to see and then smells it to see if it's the problem.

Piper: "These chocolates have a spell tonic in them."

Meadow: "What kind of tonic?"

Piper: "From the way you described her behavior it's a hormonal love spell."

Meadow: "Is that so?"

Piper: "Yes usually it'll take an effect instantly unless."

Meadow: "Unless what?"

Piper: "Unless the person who is effective has a special someone in their life already. If they do, they will go after that person but if the person is single then they will go after the one who cast the spell."

Meadow: "Is there a reversal spell?"

Piper: "No that spell wears off at midnight but if the magic user uses the forbidden version of the spell by making it into a tonic, then it's permanent until the user is dead."

Meadow: "Which means I have to kill the user."

Piper: "Yes and I know that it is a warlock at fault. Find the warlock and kill him then the spell tonic will be lifted and anyone effective will have no memory of it."

Back in the present, Seven explains to Christiana what he saw.

Christiana: "Oh obviously a witch is behind this."

Seven: "How do you know for sure?"

Christiana: "You said that there are boys practically fighting over a girl after eating a cookie, correct?"

Seven: "Yes."

Christiana: "That means that girl is a witch therefore she used a hormonal love spell by making it into a tonic and putting it in the cookie batter."

Seven: "That makes sense the second the guys ate the cookies, they pretty much worshiped the ground she walks on. Is there a reversal spell?"

Christiana: "There are two versions of that spell the first version wears off at midnight and could be only used by one person. The second version is the forbidden version it is a tonic that'll let her have multiple men and she most likely used that forbidden version. So that means the only way to end it is to kill her."

Seven: "Oh."

Christiana: "I forgot you never killed anyone before have you."

Seven: "No..."

Christiana: "That is something you have to get used to if you want to be a demon hunter."

Seven: "What do you mean?"

Christiana: "There are two types of hunters: exorcist hunters and demon hunters. Exorcist hunters prefer to hunt demons who aren't possessing people, vampires, werewolves, and evil magic users. Demon hunters pretty much don't care who they hunt as long as they can save innocent people."

Seven: "What about slayers?"

Christiana: "Slayers? There are no slayers after the slayer massacred the families of the slayers basically gave up on the slaying business and lived normal lives. Though some have become hunters instead of slayers."

Seven: "Oh but you and I are descendants of the slayer bloodline."

Christiana: "Yes there hasn't been a hunter I met that can see the dead. Do you think you can handle taking the life of another person?"

Seven: "Yes."

Christiana: "All you can do for now is to find out where she lives. That way we can finish the job without any witnesses."

It is the next day the final bell rings, and the students leave. Seven went looking for the 3rd year girl.

Seven: "Where could that witch be?" He continued searching until he heard shouting and followed the voice. He sees the girl and recognizes the other girl grabbing her by the collar of her shirt. (Thinking: "Isn't that girl who just transferred here?")

Rowena: "You bitch! I'm gonna beat your face so much that no one will be able to recognize you!"

Clarissa: "It's not my fault that guy you like fell for me instead of you."

Emily: "Come Rowena she's not worth it."

Jade: "Yeah, you're not the first girl whose crush fell for that bitch."

She lets her go.

Clarissa: "Isn't this your third school? It'll be a shame if I told the principal you threaten to beat me up."

Rowena and her friends storm off. A flashback to May 26, 1848, it is passed two o'clock at night. Meadow went back home to get his weapon to hunt the warlock just as he was about to grab his swords Christiana came downstairs still in her uniform.

Christiana: "Meadow."

Meadow: "Christiana, I thought you were asleep."

Christiana: "Naughty boy you shouldn't have run away from me."

He walks backward and she tries to get close to him. He stumbles onto the couch, and she pins him down on the couch.

Meadow: "Wait Christiana now this is not the time for that." She takes his hands and slips one hand under her skirt and the other hand under her blouse. "Oh, God!"

His face almost turns red, and he has a nosebleed.

Christiana: "I'm not wearing any underwear at all."

Meadow: (Thinking) "Don't give in! Don't give in! Don't give in!"

Christiana: "Isn't this what you desire? Isn't this what you fantasize about? Don't you want me this way?"

Meadow: "I'm sorry Christiana... I know in my heart that I would never lay a hand on you, but this is a desperate matter and I know you won't remember this." He punches her in the stomach hard enough to knock her out. After passing out he lays her down on the couch. "Good thing her guard was down."

He grabs his weapons and goes to hunt the warlock. He went to the city to find the shop the warlock at. After finding the shop he sneaks in and searches for the warlock in the shadows. He then finds the warlock surrounded by a harem of women and coming-of-age girls.

Warlock: "Beautiful women left and right that spell really does the trick. Sadly, not all the women came I wonder why?"

Meadow: "It's because the young woman is throwing themselves at their spouse or relationship partner."

Warlock: "What the hell?!"

Meadow came out of the shadows.

Meadow: "It seems to me that you only targeted single women and girls who are coming of age."

Warlock: "Shit a hunter! Hate to break this to you but I didn't intend to target single women."

Meadow: "What do you mean?"

Warlock: "I wanted all the women regardless of whether they were in a relationship or not. You see no woman would pay attention to me. It's men like you that get all the women you want but a man like me doesn't. Well since not all the women I gave the chocolate to didn't come back here, it looks like I didn't specify the spell in the tonic oh well I'll remember that next time."

Meadow: "There won't be a next time."

Warlock: "What makes you say that?"

Meadow: "Because I'm going to end this."

Warlock: "Really? I like to see you try it. Okay, girls if you all love me then you'll protect me."

He snaps his fingers and the women try to stop Meadow. Meadow is able to dodge their attacks.

Meadow: "You're so pathetic and weak using others to fight your own fight."

Warlock: "You bastard!"

The warlock tries to find an attack spell in his spell book, but Meadow stops him by stabbing him in the heart and then slashes him. Once the warlock is killed in an instant the women all passed out and collapsed on the ground. Meadow takes the body out of the shop in the shadows. All of the women woke up confused about why they were in the shop.

Woman 1: "Where am I?"

3rd Year Girl 1: "My parents are going to kill me for being out this late!"

3rd Year Girl 2: "My guardian is going to ground me for the rest of the year for this!"

College Girl: "Oh man the dorm advisor is going to report me for this!"

Woman 2: "My roommate must be wondering where I'm at."

As the women are leaving in a hurry to go home it is back to the present and it is nearly three in the morning. Christiana and Seven head to the witch's house to stop her.

Christiana: "Are you ready to take the life of another person?"

Seven: "Y-Yes."

Christiana: "We'll have to sneak in to catch her in surprise."

They slip into the house without causing alarm and they go looking for the witch in the shadows. They found the witch surrounded by a harem of boys and Seven recognizes one of the boys.

Seven: "Austin?!"

Clarissa: "Huh?"

Seven: "Shit..."

Christiana: "Rookie mistake..."

The two came out of the shadows.

Clarissa: "What the hell?! What are you two doing here and how did you two get in here?!"

Seven: "Can't disclose that but what we want to know is why you have all these guys under your control?"

Clarissa: "Simple handsome boys and cute boys like you don't go for plain janes like me. All they want is girls like her. I bet she had boys worship the ground she walks on all the time."

Seven: "So?"

Clarissa: "I've been rejected so many times at the point I figured I'd use the spell tonic my brother had in his spell book. Well, this time I made sure it's effective that they will only want me."

Christiana: "I find that pretty pathetic using a spell to get a boyfriend. I figured so with the smell of desperation in the room."

Clarissa: "How dare you bitch!" She snapped her fingers, and all the boys guarded her. "Now boys if you truly love me then kill these two."

Boys: "Yes my love."

The boy's strength enhanced, and they went after Christiana and Seven.

Clarissa: "Oh by the way I added a strength multiplier tonic as a precaution in the batter. I figured a hunter would be after me."

The boys attack them, but Christiana and Seven dodge the attacks as if it was nothing. She uses the back blade of her sword to knock them out as much as she can without overdoing it.

Christiana: "Using these boys to fight your own battles you must be really weak."

Clarissa: "Oh yeah?! Let's see about that!"

She gets out the spell book and tries to find a spell to kill them.

Christiana: "Hurry stop her."

Clarissa finds the spell she is looking for and starts chanting. As she is chanting Seven uses his bow and arrows and shoots the arrow at her throat, but it doesn't hit the vital point. She coughs up blood as she tries to take the arrow out.

Christiana: "Try again to make sure you hit the vital point."

He nods his head and shoots the arrow at her heart killing her. Then all the boys passed out and collapsed on the ground.

Seven: "I can't believe I killed someone."

Christiana: "You'll get used to it. Help me pick up the body before these boys wake up."

They picked up the body and took it out of the house by using Christiana's transport key. As they left the boys woke up confused about why they were in the house.

3rd Year Boy: "What the?"

College Student: "Where am I?"

2nd Year Boy: "Oh man my parents are going to kill me for being out this late!"

1st Year Boy: "My dad is going to ground me until I graduate!"

Christiana and Seven are transported outside to the field near the mansion.

Seven: "Why are we here?"

Christiana: "Simple."

Violet: "What took you two so long?"

Seven: "Huh?"

Christiana: "Burn the body."

Violet: "Of course, Boss."

She snaps her fingers and as the flame appears she burns the body.

Christiana: "It's best for hunters to cover their tracks after all the world isn't ready to know the truth."

Seven: "In a way working in the shadows."

A flashback to May 26, 1848, some time has passed and it is seven in the morning. Meadow is walking with Christiana as she is going to school. He tells her what happened yesterday since she didn't remember what happened due to the effect of the spell tonic. She couldn't believe what she heard and blushed out of embarrassment.

Christiana: "I what?!"

Meadow: "You threw yourself at me you were all over me wanting me to you know."

Christiana: "I can't believe that I acted like a... like a..."

Meadow: "Like a hormonal teenager well more like a cat in heat."

Christiana: "Oh God... I wish you never told me about this I think I would have been better off not knowing what happened yesterday."

Meadow: "I didn't do anything to you by the way."

Christiana: "Hm?"

Meadow: "When you pinned me on the couch you had nothing under your clothes you even grab my hands to prove it. God, I wanted to give in, but I didn't not even for a second I managed to control myself."

Christiana: "Oh God..."

She looks down in embarrassment as her face almost turns red.

Meadow: "I knew something wasn't right and the only way to find out was to ask Piper. She said it was a hormonal love spell by making it into a tonic and that tonic was in the chocolates you had. The only way to end it is by killing the magic user who made it."

Christiana: "Is that so?"

Meadow: "Yes."

She stops and kisses him on the cheek.

Christiana: "I'm proud of you Meadow you actually didn't take advantage of me being hormonal. I can't believe that you actually have self-control. After all, you always tell me that when it comes to me your hands have a mind of their own."

He blushes out of embarrassment.

Meadow: "You know I could have given in and let you do whatever to me."

Christiana: "Sure you will."

Back in the present, it's a bright Wednesday afternoon Seven is talking to Macy outside the mansion during his lunch break.

Seven: "I um... well like you."

She realized what he meant.

Macy: "I'm flattered really, I am but I'm a little too old for you. Don't worry there is someone out there for you."

She left and Seven sits on the ground but realizes that he only had a crush on her, and it didn't hurt him that badly.

Seven: "It really was just a crush."

Christiana walks up behind him.

Christiana: "Any reason why you're here on my property?"

Seven: "I just need to confess to my crush that's all and honestly I don't feel hurt at all."

Christiana: "I see."

Seven: "How did you know about the spell anyways?"

Christiana: "Because I was effective by the spell some time ago."

Seven: "Really?"

Christiana: "Yes, I threw myself to Meadow and he didn't take advantage of me."

Seven laughs because he couldn't believe that Meadow didn't take advantage of Christiana.

Seven: "Are you sure he didn't? I mean it seems like something he wanted you to do to him."

He continues to laugh.

Christiana: "I know. I know. It's hard to believe it but it's true he actually has self-control."

He tries to stop laughing but he can't because to him it's really funny.

Seven: "I still can't believe it it's just that funny to think that Meadow has self-control when it comes to you."

Christiana: "For the record that hunt will be my last hunt for a while."

He stops laughing.

Seven: "Huh?"

Christiana: "You know I'm pregnant I can't overdo anything for the time being. Why else would I have you kill that witch?"

Seven: "Oh that makes sense you don't want to push yourself too hard."

Christiana: "I know you're there come on out."

Seven: "Huh? Who are you talking to?"

Dean's clone came out of hiding.

Dean's Clone: "How did you know I was here?"

Seven: "Dean?! I thought you were with Meadow?!"

Christiana: "That's his copy in other words his clone."

Seven: "Huh?!"

Dean's Clone: "Vampires have one unique ability I'm living proof of Dean's ability."

Seven: "Oh."

Dean's Clone: "You didn't answer my question."

Christiana: "I knew you were out here the day after Meadow left."

Dean's Clone: "You're quite sharp."

Seven: (Thinking) "Yet quite a mystery."
