Chapter 20:

The rise of the hyena pack

My Weird Internship

Rudy, who was sitting in the corner of the kitchen, asked, "So, which one will we cook?" Reflexively, Rudy and Alvin looked at Zirly who was busy reading her notebook. Zirly noticed the stare. "Why are you guys staring at me? Are you guys crazy? hey stop it!!!" Zirly tried to avert Rudy and Alvin's eyes.

"Alright... we'll make roast chicken. I'll prepare the chicken, Rudy you take care of the seasoning, and Alvin, you can process the fruits, cut them into cubes." Zirly clapped her hands to signal that the cooking process had begun.

" Yes Chef!!!" Alvin and Rudy answered loudly.

Alvin opened the Fridge, and saw that the ingredients he needed were already available and arranged very neatly.

Alvin thought to himself, "Gosh, this Fridge can fill exactly what we think it can. It's weird but I'm not surprised by these things anymore".

Alvin started making the marinade for the roast chicken, while cutting and crushing the ingredients he looked at Rudy who was busy cutting some fruits "Do you think that's the best solution?". Alvin added, "I don't think so, what's the difference between studying in school!".

Hearing that, Rudy smiled slightly and shook his head. "It's already different, stupid. What kind of school can be this much freedom?"

Zirly banged her hand on the table with vigor. "Stop that! Let's get on with this." The three of them started cooking with enthusiasm.

Alvin, Zirly, and Rudy managed to finish their dinner preparations well. Zirly excitedly rang the small bell she had brought, creating a sound that called out to the rest of the class. "Dinner is ready!" she exclaimed.

In an instant, their dining room was filled with the members of the Wood Carving Technique class. They all sat around the table that Zirly had beautifully arranged. However, the atmosphere in the room was lively and cheerful.

Mike, who was sitting at the end of the table, looked around with a serious face. "Well, before we start dinner, I'd like to remind us all of our plans for the future. We have to focus on training and mastering the lessons that will be tested later. But, let's enjoy dinner first and let that burden rest for a while. (Even if it's fake food)"

"Mike... relax... we're a herd of tame hyenas, right guys." Rudy said with a laugh.

"We'll get through this... is that right ladies and gentlemen?" Zirly exclaimed as she raised her spoon.

"You have nothing to fear, we have the smartest girl on our side," said Irvan looking at Erika.

Hearing Irvan's words, Erika immediately doused him with a glass of water, and Irvan managed to avoid it. " We are much stronger than you guys think. It's just that you guys like to lose too much and laugh."

"I promise you the Genius Ms. Erika, I will restore the glorious power of our class." Zane replied while bowing respectfully.

The whole group cheered Zane on.

Boooooo....

At this moment, Vivi, who was always ready for a joke, grabbed a piece of bread and held it up. "For change, glory, and renaissance. let's make the best of this internship guys! And graduate from this damn school!"

Everyone raised their glasses or food and toasted. This was a moment of togetherness that meant a lot to them. Although they didn't know what would happen next, they knew that they would face it together with unwavering spirit.

The dinner unfolded in laughter and stories. They laughed, talked and celebrated their friendship and the adventures that lay ahead.
