Chapter 19:

Operation "Last Train"

My Weird Internship

After Mike revealed his plan to make everyone in the class pass the exam this coming weekend, the reactions of the Wood Carving Technique class members were mixed. Some of them, such as Juan, Rudy, and Alvin, were stunned and seemed to disagree with this plan. They made skeptical comments, grumbling that it was all a waste of time.

"Owh seriously!" protested Rudy in a snide tone. and hit the floor.

"hey, can you stop that!!!" said Maya loudly.

"What?" he raised his hand.

"You overreact, you weirdo..." with her sharp eyes.

Because most of the other class members seemed mostly fine with the plan. They felt optimistic or at least willing to try. However, there was a hint of doubt in their eyes.

"so the meeting has been closed, for those who disagree... please sleep with the villagers, aahahaha." with his big laugh. and followed by the students who agreed, they laughed at the rebels who disagreed.

"Hahahaha, get out Vin." said Vivie while nudging Alvin's body.

"ugh, shut up Vivi..." Alvin said as he moved away from her.

Mike felt the need to explain further. "But seriously, we can't take this so lightly," he said seriously. "This is a great opportunity to prove our capabilities, as individuals and as a team. And you know we have the big three Erika, Ryo, and Irvan. They will work hard to prepare everything what we need."

At the mention of his name, Irvan laughed, then gave his middle finger to Mike.

Erika, being the smartest girl in the class, stood up. She supported this plan. "You guys, why were you so afraid before you tried it?" she said in a reassuring tone. "This is a golden opportunity to prove that we can face any challenge."

Vivi, who was always excited, added, "Yeah, why be scared when we have the smartest people on our side? Right, Erika?" She smiled widely.

Mike, with his hands clenched and eyes flashing with determination, said, "As your chosen leader, I've decided that the briefing about our "Last Train" projects will start tonight! Please rest and clean up first."

Finally, the meeting broke up, and they separated to rest in their respective rooms, Alvin getting ready to return to his room. However, his plan was thwarted by a loud voice from Maya who called out to him, "Hey Alvin, Rudy, and Zirly. Don't run, it's your turn to make dinner!!!" Maya said.

Alvin frowned, feeling rather annoyed. "Come on, we're in the game, we don't need that," he muttered to himself. But Maya remained firm in her request, hinting that she wouldn't budge.

"Well, I guess, there's another deserter here," Maya muttered as she looked at Alvin. "Damn, snitch." He said as he stepped down into the kitchen. He felt somewhat annoyed by this situation. However, when he joins Rudy and Zirly in the kitchen.

Rudy, who was sitting in the corner of the kitchen, asked, "So, what are we going to cook?" reflexively, Rudy and Alvin looked at Zirly who was busy reading her notebook.
