Chapter 251:

Chapter 251 Bleak Existence

Content of the Magic Box

The goblin slave, already in a sorry state from years of mistreatment and abuse, had looked up to Suzuka with a mixture of hope and fear, his eyes pleading for saving from his wretched existence. Despite his beaten body, emaciated frame, and numerous scars, there had been a glimmer of resilience in his gaze, a flicker of hope that perhaps someone, anyone, could offer him salvation from the torment he endured daily.

Suzuka hugged the slave back, her touch warm and gentle, radiating care and comfort. Her touch was a rare moment of kindness in his otherwise bleak existence. She had tried to convey through her gentle embrace that she was not like the others, that she saw him as more than just a lowly slave. She tried to show the goblin that she was friendly and meant him no harm. However, before she could offer further comfort, the tranquil scene was shattered by the sudden emergence of four evil goblins, their crude spears thrusting forth from the concealment of the tall grass.

With a savage thrust, the spears pierced the air, seeking to impale the goblin slave and Suzuka in one fell swoop. With a sickening crunch, the spears found their mark, skewering the creature's fragile body, their weapons tearing through flesh and bone, silencing his cries in an instant. With a sickening squelch, the poor goblin was impaled on the spears, his body jerking and twitching in agony as he hung lifelessly from the spears.

The evil goblin spears, nothing more than rough-hewn sticks with pointed tips, were wielded with no mercy. All four spears struck true, yet their momentum was thwarted upon meeting Suzuka's enhanced body. Despite their efforts, the weapons failed to penetrate her reinforced leather armor, leaving her unscathed by the surprise attack.

For a fleeting moment, Suzuka stood frozen in the carnage, the stench of blood and death thick in the air. Her armor was splattered with the vile goblin slave blood, her hands painted with the same gruesome hue. Though the evil goblins continued their futile attempts to push their weapons further, their feeble efforts were no match for her hardened body.

Suzuka's heart pounded with a mixture of dread and fury as she watched the goblin slave collapse to the ground, his blood staining her and the earth beneath him. As the life drained from the goblin's eyes, Suzuka felt a surge of anger and outrage wash over her. These evil creatures had no regard for the lives of their kind, using slaves as nothing more than disposable pawns in their twisted games of power and control.

Suzuka's eyes blazed with fury as she surveyed the scene before her, her pristine armor now marred by the filthy blood of the goblin slave. With a snarl of rage, she turned her attention to the evil goblins responsible for the desecration of her gear.

"You rotten freaks! God damn pieces of shit! Look what you did! Look what you've done to my armor! Do you have any idea how long it took to polish this leather? I will kill all of you for this, no mercy!" She spat, her voice dripping with hate.

Her words were laced with hatred as she advanced on the cowering evil goblins, her fists clenched at her sides. The thought of her meticulously maintained armor tainted by the blood of a lowly goblin slave filled her with an unbridled rage.

"I'll make you pay for this, shitty goblins! You'll regret the day you dared to lay a hand on me and tarnish my armor with your filth!" she growled, her voice rising to a menacing snarl.

Suzuka's eyes blazed with fury, her armor tainted with the vile goblin blood. With a primal roar of rage, she unleashed the full force of her power, calling upon her mastery of gravity magic. With a swift motion of her hand, she directed a surge of gravitational force downward, unleashing a devastating spell that rippled through the earth.

The ground trembled beneath her as the force of her magic surged outward, creating a shockwave that radiated in all directions. The tall grass surrounding her was flattened in an instant, crushed under the sheer weight of her power. With a sickening crunch, the earth itself seemed to buckle and groan, unable to withstand the immense force exerted upon it.

The goblins, caught unaware by Suzuka's sudden display of power, were engulfed by the catastrophic force of the spell. Those unfortunate enough to be caught in its path were crushed beneath the merciless weight of gravity, their bodies reduced to little more than a grotesque smear of gore upon the ground.

Meanwhile, Jake grappled with the group of goblin slaves restraining him, his muscles strained against their relentless grip. Despite his best efforts, they managed to overpower him, sending him crashing to the ground in a heap. His frustration boiled over as he struggled to break free, his mind racing for a way out of the dire situation.

Max, witnessing Jake's struggle from a distance, swiftly reacted with the precision of a seasoned archer. Drawing his longbow with expert skill, he aimed at the goblin slaves restraining Jake and loosed a series of arrows with deadly accuracy. Each arrow found its mark, piercing through the skulls of the goblins and sending them sprawling to the ground in a lifeless heap.

With the immediate threat neutralized, Jake wasted no time in seizing the opportunity to retaliate. Rising to his feet, he shook off the remnants of the fallen goblins and brandished his sword with a fierce shout. With a mighty swing, he cut through the remaining goblin slaves with relentless ferocity, his blade cleaving through flesh and bone with each strike. In the heat of battle, Jake showed no mercy to his adversaries, whether they be slaves or evil goblins. His only focus was on survival, and he fought with a desperate resolve to see another day.

The goblin slaves, cowering in terror at the sight of Suzuka's overwhelming power, let out pitiful screams of fear as they scrambled frantically to escape. With wild eyes and trembling limbs, they turned and scuttled back toward the goblin breeding farm, hoping to find refuge.

However, their path was blocked by the evil goblins, their crude spears raised menacingly to strike down any slave attempting to flee. With brutal jabs, the evil goblins mercilessly stabbed and beat the terrified slaves, driving them back into the battle to face their attackers.

The goblin slaves, stuck between the hammer and the anvil, were left with no choice. They were mercilessly cut down by the crude spears of the evil goblins, their pitiful cries echoing through the air as they fell one by one. The air was filled with the sickening sound of spears piercing flesh and the anguished cries of the goblin slaves as they fell beneath the relentless onslaught.

Those who managed to evade the spears turned and fled into the depths of the forest, their desperate flight driven by primal instinct. But their hopes of finding sanctuary were dashed as the sounds of battle attracted the attention of lurking monsters, drawn by the scent of blood and the promise of an easy meal.

In their panicked flight, the goblin slaves became easy prey for the hungry beasts that roamed the forest, their agonized screams echoing through the darkness as they were torn apart limb from limb. Trapped between the merciless onslaught of the evil goblins and the ravenous hunger of the forest's monsters, the goblin slaves found themselves facing a fate far worse than anything they had ever imagined.

Meanwhile, as Suzuka, Jake and Max drew the attention of the entire goblin breeding farm with their explosive display of power, Larry and Mia seized the opportunity to slip into the camp by climbing over a worn-out wall and hiding behind a ramshackle tent unnoticed. Larry motioned for Mia to follow him as he peered around the corner of a tattered tent. Together, they surveyed the scene before them, taking in the brutal view of the breeding farm.

Larry's jaw tightened as he surveyed the grim scene before him, his fists clenched in a mixture of rage and disgust. The sight of the goblin slaves strewn about the ground, their bodies twisted and broken, filled him with a deep sense of revulsion. The goblin slaves, discarded like garbage and left to rot in the dirt, filled him with a burning rage that threatened to consume him. His gaze traveled to the tree near the cave entrance, where the corpses of goblins hung from the branches like ghoulish decorations, a reminder of the cruelty that ruled the breeding farm. He clenched his fists so tightly that his knuckles turned white, the urge to lash out and seek vengeance overwhelming.

But Mia's calming words cut through the haze of anger, reminding him of their mission. Her voice, though soft, held a steely resolve that grounded him, pulling him back from the brink of recklessness.

"Larry, don't do anything stupid. Calm down. Saving Hermit comes first, right? We need to stay calm."

"You're right, we're here for Hermit. We can't lose sight of that." Larry muttered, his voice tight with emotion.

With a deep breath, Larry forced himself to push aside his anger and focus on finding Hermit. He knew that giving in to his rage would only jeopardize their mission and put Hermit in even greater danger.

Larry cautiously approached the goblin slave tent, his heart heavy with dread at what he might find within. As he peered inside, the overwhelming stench assaulted his senses, causing his eyes to burn and his stomach to churn in revulsion.

The interior of the tent was a nightmare of filth and despair, the ground coated with a thick layer of goblin feces and urine that oozed underfoot with every step. Inside that vile muck, tiny goblin hatchlings writhed and crawled, their fragile bodies contorted and deformed from the constant torture and beatings they daily endured.

The hatchlings, no larger than Larry's fist, emitted pitiful chirps and clicks of misery as they struggled to navigate the foul morass that surrounded them. Their spindly limbs trembled with effort as they attempted to move through the muck, their movements sluggish and pained.

Upon catching sight of Larry, the hatchlings recoiled in fear, their already twisted features contorting with terror. In a frantic scramble, they scuttled away from him, their movements awkward and uncoordinated as they slipped and tumbled in their haste to escape.

Gathering in a quivering heap at the furthest corner of the tent, the hatchlings huddled together for safety, their tiny bodies pressed tightly against one another in a desperate bid for comfort and protection. Each tiny creature radiated a sense of deep despair and helplessness in their collective misery.

For Larry, the sight was almost too much to bear. A single tear escaped his eye, tracing a path down the scar on his cheek as he struggled to comprehend the depth of suffering endured by these innocent beings.
