Chapter 254:

Chapter 254 Goblin Hatchery

Content of the Magic Box

As Suzuka confidently walked deeper into the cave, her steps echoing against the walls, she taunted the darkness that surrounded her.

"Hey, big boy! Come out, come out, wherever you are! Don't tell me you're afraid of a frail, little girl, are you?! I know you're hiding in the shadows, you spineless cowards. Afraid to face me, hmmm?" she called out, her voice dripping with sarcasm.

Her words reverberated through the cavernous chamber, but there was no response except for the eerie silence that enveloped her. Suzuka pressed forward, her senses heightened, ready for any sign of movement or danger.

Suddenly, a low growl rumbled from the depths of the cave, followed by the sound of heavy footsteps quickly approaching. With a smirk, Suzuka readied herself for whatever might emerge from the darkness.

Out of the shadows lumbered the behemoth, his massive form charging like a runaway train. Suzuka's smirk widened into a grin as she sized up her opponent ready to take his attack head on.

"Well, well, what do we have here? So you do have some guts! And here I thought you could only pray on pathetic slaves! Come on then, big boy! Show me what you made of!" she quipped, her tone mocking.

As the behemoth charged at Suzuka with incredible speed, she braced herself for the impact, ready to withstand the force of the beast's attack. However, her confidence faltered when she saw the massive metal shield being brandished by the behemoth at the last moment.

"Ahh, shit!" Suzuka playfully cursed, her eyes widening in realization as the shield came hurtling toward her with devastating speed.

The shield struck Suzuka with a force that felt like being hit by a freight train, knocking her off her feet and sending her hurtling backward through the air. She crashed into the wooden wall behind her, the impact busting the wall.

The behemoth didn't pause for a moment, continuing its relentless charge and slamming into Suzuka before she could recover, propelling both of them into the chamber beyond the wall. They crashed into the goblin hatchery, the force of their collision exploding the chamber into chaos.

Suzuka found herself buried beneath a mound of steaming, foul-smelling fertilizer made from goblin feces and urine. The chamber was filled with the stifling heat and humidity of a sauna, the stench of rotting dung making her gag in disgust.

Meanwhile, the behemoth smashed into the main mound of feces. The chamber erupted into chaos as the mound exploded, sending a shower of feces and urine-soaked soil raining down in every direction. Suzuka found herself buried beneath the steaming heap, the putrid stench overwhelming her senses as she struggled to free herself from the fetid mess.

The goblin eggs that had been nestled within the mound were sent flying through the air, their fragile shells shattering upon impact with the cave walls. Unhatched goblin hatchlings spilled out, their tiny, undeveloped bodies coated in the slimy remnants of their shattered eggs as they wriggled and squirmed within the muck before suffocating. Their high-pitched cries pierced the air as they struggled to comprehend the sudden upheaval of their fragile existence. The cave walls were soon painted with streaks of slime and blood as the remnants of the shattered eggs splattered against them, creating a grotesque tapestry of mucus-like fluids mixed with the remains of unborn goblins.

The goblin hatchlings whimpered and wailed, their tiny voices barely audible. Some lay motionless, their fragile bodies crushed by the force of the impact, while others thrashed about in agony, their limbs twisted and contorted in unnatural angles.

The cave floor was littered with the remains of the broken eggs, a sickening mixture of shell fragments, slime, and the lifeless bodies of the unhatched goblins. Some hatchlings managed to crawl feebly, their undeveloped limbs twitching in a futile attempt to escape the carnage around them. Their tiny limbs flailed about in a futile attempt to escape their fate, but the jagged shards of eggshell and the weight of the collapsing mound pinned them down, sealing their fate. Others lay motionless, their tiny forms crushed under the weight of larger debris or trampled by the panicked stampede of the behemoth, their fragile forms crushed by the force of the impact before they could even draw their first breath, their lifeless eyes staring blankly into the darkness.

But the brutality did not end there. The air was thick with the stench of blood and death as the behemoth rose from the ground with a thunderous roar. With each step, the earth trembled beneath his massive weight, crushing the remnants of delicate eggs and hatchlings beneath his feet, their tiny bodies bursting and popping like overripe fruit.

The behemoth's massive hands closed around Suzuka's slender frame, lifting her off the ground with ease. With a cruel grin, he slammed her into the cave wall, the force of the impact sending cracks spiderwebbing across the rock.

With a mocking laugh, she taunted, "Ha! Is that the best you can do, big boy?! Well, it's my turn!"

Before the beast could react, she lashed out with both feet, delivering a powerful kick to the behemoth's chest. The force of the blow sent the colossal monster sprawling backward, his massive form crashing to the ground with a thunderous thud.

As the behemoth lay stunned on the ground, Suzuka wasted no time. With a swift motion, she leaped forward, driving her knee into the monster's chest with bone-crushing force. The behemoth let out a guttural roar of pain, his massive frame buckling under the impact.

With a sinister grin, she unleashed her gravity magic, coating her battle gloves in a swirling vortex of darkness. The black mist flickered around her fists, crackling with energy as she prepared to deliver the final blow.

"Time to say goodnight, big boy," she sneered.

With a swift and merciless strike, she brought her fists down upon the behemoth's skull, the force of her blow crushing his head.

Suzuka stood over her fallen foe, her eyes blazing with fury as she looked at the filth clinging to her form and the room around her. The ground was littered with the crushed remains of goblin hatchlings and shattered eggs, the air thick with reeking stench.

She grimaced at the stench of the hatchery, a foul stench of goblin feces and urine. With a snap of her fingers, she summoned her gravity magic, a swirling vortex of power crackling around her fingertips.

With a surge of energy, she unleashed the force of her magic, creating a powerful gravitational field around her body. The swirling vortex of darkness enveloped her form, pushing away the filth and grime that clung to her like a second skin.

As the gravity magic surged around her, the stinking filth was torn away from her body, lifted into the air by the sheer force of her power. The debris and detritus danced and swirled around her, caught in the swirling vortex of darkness.

With a sense of satisfaction, Suzuka watched as the filth was expelled from her body, leaving her pristine and clean once more.

With a flicker of her eyes, Suzuka released her gravity magic, allowing the swirling vortex to dissipate into nothingness. She stood tall and proud, her form unmarred by the stains of battle, thanks to her mastery over gravity magic.

With a grimace of disgust, she surveyed the hatchery, her eyes narrowing at the sight. Broken eggs littered the ground, their contents spilled and crushed. The mangled remains of hatchlings lay scattered within the filth.

As she turned to leave, her gaze fell upon a peculiar sight near the exit. Underneath a pile of debris, a chunk of hardened dung caught her attention. Curiosity piqued, Suzuka approached. To her astonishment, nestled within the foul-smelling dung, were two intact eggs. Despite the surrounding carnage, these eggs had somehow remained unscathed.

Swiftly, Suzuka retrieved a small box from her magic item storage. The box, a gift from Valerius in exchange for her assistance in acquiring goblin eggs, was just large enough to accommodate a few precious treasures.

Carefully, she scooped up the dung-encrusted eggs, ensuring they were cradled safely within the confines of the box. Despite the repulsive surroundings, Suzuka handled the delicate cargo with utmost care, her movements precise and careful.

As she secured the box and tied it to her belt, a sense of satisfaction washed over her. Though the hatchery may have fallen into ruin, she had salvaged a few eggs as Valerius had asked. With a happy stride, Suzuka turned and made her way out of the hatchery, her attention back to the task at hand - saving Hermit.

With goblin eggs secured she peered deeper down the tunnel and noticed a wooden wall blocking the passage at the end of the tunnel. She slowly approached the wooden wall with caution, her senses alert to any signs of danger. As she neared the barrier, she could hear the muffled sounds of commotion emanating from the other side, accompanied by the unmistakable voice of a goblin shouting angrily.

Suzuka stood before the crudely made wooden door, her gaze fixed intently on its weathered surface. With a mischievous glint in her eye, she raised her hand and gave the door a gentle knock, the sound echoing through the dimly lit tunnel.

"Hello there, Ms. Goblin!" she called out, her voice carrying a tone of mock formality.

"I came to speak to you about your life's extended warranty. I'm here to announce that it expired!"

Before the startled goblin inside could respond, Suzuka unleashed a powerful kick, her boot connecting with the door's surface with explosive force. With a resounding crash, the flimsy wooden barrier splintered and shattered into a heap of wreckage, leaving the entrance wide open.

Stepping through the now-demolished doorway, she surveyed the scene before her with a satisfied smirk.
