Yoshimura. (Part 4)

(After an hour of calming each other down, Daxton and Kin stepped away from the hospital and talked at a nearby bus stop with a shelter with their backs turned against each other.)

"Kin: ..."
"Daxton: ..."
"Kin: Hunter... I do trust you."
"Daxton: ..."
"Kin: But I'm scared, okay...? I'm scared if I tell you my origin, you'll... You'll kill him for sure."
"Daxton: ...Yoshimura, I told you before and I'll say it again. I can't kill your father nor can I beat him. I'm nowhere near his level and even I'm saying this. So stop lying, what's the truth?"
"Kin: ..."

(As Kin then takes a deep breath, she then begins to tell her origin.)

"Kin: ...Seven years ago, I was only 9 years old..."

-Kin Yoshimura's Backstory-

"Kin (Narrating): My older brother won his 8th Martial Arts Tournament Championship, my mother exceled in the arts of Tai Chi and became a well-respected Grandmaster and my father, ruled the Global Rankings as one of the top five fighters. As for me... I excelled in all the physical challenges. Cooking, cleaning, Olympics training, lumberjacking, every possible challenge that can be done physically... And even those feats, could not bring a smile to my father's face."

(Kin then explains through her story that she was an exceptional scholar, the Yoshimura Clan's best cook, a future Grandmaster and truthfully is a style of seven martial art forms from the age of 9 to 12 while including more of her deep past.)

"Kin (Narrating): I was the perfect child who always admired and loved her father, no matter the pain or suffering he gave me... I always remembered the times he'd give my brother and my mother much more support and love than me... On my 12th birthday, my eldest brother looked for me.. but I left. I left my home in Japan and scurried my way into the city. I fought for my life and did everything I could to remain alive... Until then, I met a rouge gang. I was manipulated, abused and brainwashed into becoming one of them. With no choice and my life being threatened, I've done and did horrid things to keep myself alive as a child... The day I was fourteen, my brother found me and noticed I was a rebel... And he saved me from going further down the path. For the first time ever since I was four, I experienced what a hug from someone you loved felt like... It was warm.. soft and comfortable... My father however... banished me from my house for leaving. My brother took me in instead and has changed me to becoming a powerful woman to help those in need with my attributes."

-Now-

"Kin: And ever since I went to Kyudenki, I was afraid of losing myself. But then... I met the Student Counsel, they were my first friends, I ate lunch with them, trained and fought with them too. They were as close as I could ever get to a family... Until I met you all."
"Daxton: ..."
"Kin: Nakamura, Gonkuro, Williams Jr., Akikatsu... and you."

(Kin with her face hidden in her arms, shed more tears as she was letting more emotions out for the first time in years.)

"Kin: You guys have always been there for each other... But I'm so worried about you all everyday, it kills me to even think I'm not a good friend to any of you. And now... Because of you especially Hunter, you've opened my eyes to something new, you've reopened my passion for fighting... But especially to travel around the world for all to witness that I can be a strong woman, that I can be the clan's next Grandmaster, without my father forcing it..!"

(Daxton then turns to face Kin and awkwardly gives her a side hug, surprising Kin as her eyes widened at the action done by him.)

"Daxton: I uh... Thank you that you trust me.. and I'm.. sorry for everything bad I've did to you."
"Kin: ...It's okay... It's just that, I'm just grateful I have you guys to lean on when I'm down..."

(As Kin held Daxton's arm, she would bring him closer for a direct hug. Daxton then notices old bruises on her arm.)

"Daxton: Those bruises on your arm... Were they old?"
"Kin: ..When I was 14, I was kind of on a.. fighting spree. This bruise actually came from a metal bat I was hit with. Doctors said my whole forearm should've been broken from the impact."
"Daxton: ...As tough as me huh?"

(Kin then delivered a chuckle as she felt confident in smiling again.)

"Kin: Pretty much...!"
"Daxton: ..You know.. When I first started my journey, I was skeptical on friends I'd make. But when I met you all, I felt closer and more open to talking with others. But truthfully Yoshimura, we walked the same path, but we were forced to suffer through different scenarios."
"Kin: ...That's true... Either way, I just want my father to understand I love him.. but he needs to prove he actually loves me."
"Daxton: ...I know I can't defeat your father, but that doesn't stop me from doing everything I can to protect you."

(Kin's heart suddenly skipped a beat as she looked directly at Daxton as he said what he said.)

"Daxton: Yoshimura, trust me. I do not care if I'm hunted down by the rest of the clan, I want to make amends with your father and gain his trust."
"Kin: ...Okay."
"Daxton: Come on, lets get you back to campus."

(Daxton notices an incoming bus to start the day as Daxton waved it down. The two then later on boarded the bus back to Chun-See-Yoon Academy as Daxton noticed Kin sleeping peacefully on his shoulder with her scarf wrapped around her neck to keep her warm. Daxton gives Kin two pats on the head as she was smiling in her dream with Daxton and the rest of the crew fighting alongside Kin in her dream, defending her from her past enemies and triggers.)
