Chapter 22:

Tsun Tsun Prott

My Weird Internship

The next day, the sun rose with its warm rays shining down on the villa where the wood carving technique class stayed. The usually calm atmosphere changed when group A, led by Erika, decided to return to study beside the swimming pool.

Under the morning sun, they brought their books and sat around the beautiful pool. Erika, Maya, Juan, Zane, and Alvin gathered there, ready to dive into the world of knowledge.

"Don't you have anything to lose?" said Alvin with his free smile.

Erika who was organizing her book turned to Alvin, "Why should I feel lost?" she asked with a surprised expression.

Zane laughed, "You must be tired of teaching this stupid Alvin, hahaha." His comment provoked Alvin's reaction.

"Stupid? I'm not stupid, you're stupid!" retorted Alvin in a high tone.

The fight between Alvin and Zane began, with expletives and taunts being thrown around. However, this chaos did not last long. Erika, as the group leader, finally decided to neutralize the situation.

"If you don't want to learn, leave! You're disturbing the others," Erika said firmly. The two boys still exchanged glares, but they finally understood that it was time to focus on studying. They straightened themselves up and fell silent, letting the cool breeze carry the scent of books and their curiosity.

When the tension between Alvin and Zane subsided, Group A under Erika's leadership continued their study activities by the charming pond. The soft sunlight reflects off the colorful water of the pond, creating a serene backdrop for studying.

Erika sat concentrating, trying to understand the formulas in her book. Next to her, Maya and Zane were reading their textbooks, while Juan and Alvin were focused on solving their exercises.

However, the tranquility was short-lived. Without warning, a "Prot..." sound echoed around them. A sound that was the result of someone farting.

All eyes were immediately drawn to each other. A look of astonishment, confusion, and small laughter mixed on their faces. Alvin, who was sitting a little far away, immediately accused, "Zane, that must be from you!"

Zane replied in an angry tone, "No way, I'm not the one who farted!"

Meanwhile, Juan tried to ask for clarification, "How come I'm the one being blamed? I didn't do anything."

Erika, as the group leader, tried to defuse the situation. "Okay, okay, enough. Let's focus on learning. This is not the time to fight."

However, the chaos was not over yet. Flushing, Erika's cheeks turned toward her friends. "Alright, that was me," she admitted in a small voice.

The group's reaction varied from awkward laughter to expressions of surprise. The serious and stern Erika suddenly looked so human.

"Never mind, the important thing is that we continue studying," Erika said with a smile. Everyone agreed to refocus on their books, although a little laughter could still be heard in between. The group's mood returned to normal, and they realized that a little humor could come in the midst of the tension of studying. This was the essence of their unique journey.
