It is within this realm that our tale unfolds, immersing us in the life of a lad known as Alger Harrell, as he treads the path towards becoming the Arrow of Freedom.

The chronicle commences in the year 1347, when young Alger, at the tender age of five, toiled as a dutiful tiller of the soil in the hamlet of Daegal. His small hands diligently worked the earth, striving to furnish sustenance not only for himself but also for his tender three-year-old sister. Though regarded as an eccentric child, celebrated for his exuberant spirit, Alger’s life plunged into the abyss on one fateful day.

Returning to his humble abode, bearing the fruits of his labor, Alger stumbled upon the ruins of what once was his sanctuary – a mere husk of its former self. No vestige of a door remained; only the wreckage of a shattered home stood in its stead. Panic seized him as the realization dawned that his sister still dwelled within. Hastening through the dilapidated entrance, Alger bore witness to the desolation that awaited him – a room strewn with broken artifacts, a door unhinged, and bloodstains painting a macabre tableau.

In the heart of the room sat his sister, her form marred by blood, life extinguished. The sight proved both shocking and traumatizing, leaving Alger suspended in disbelief. He, the pitiable elder brother, had failed to shield his younger kin. Overwhelmed by grief, he fled outside, clutching whatever provisions he could scrounge, acknowledging the irrevocable loss.

As Alger retraced his steps toward the shattered edifice, he couldn’t resist glancing back at the path he had traversed. Despite his aversion to further loss, he traversed the village, hungering for elucidation and enlightenment. The agony of losing his sole source of solace fueled his unwavering resolve.

For four days, Alger relentlessly sought answers, piecing together the puzzle that unveiled his sister’s assailant and the specters of past horrors haunting their land. Across the dominions, the Kingdom of Zeolum cast its sinister shadow, terrorizing villages, including Daegal.

Armed with newfound knowledge, Alger gathered essentials for his odyssey, embarking on a protracted and arduous quest. The pursuit of justice and the emancipation of his people propelled him forward, heralding the commencement of the Arrow of Freedom’s epic journey. The saga was set ablaze, and the pages of his destiny awaited the quill of time.
