The Conundrum Incident

Maybe it was The Creator's will or maybe it was the curse of success that had befall before Satomi and Nora but keeping the reasons aside, a terrible turn of event took place during their flight which was quite puzzling because up to this date it is still unknown what caused this turmoil and who was behind it.

After Nora had boarded the commercial plane heading to Japan, the plane didn’t take more than 5 minutes to complete the pre-requisites to take off successfully and they quickly took off from the cold land of Canada.

As per statistics, this travel requires a time of 9 hours. The plane had already passed Toronto and flying across the whole of USA. Afterwards, it reached the Atlantic Ocean and was flying through the clouds above the ocean. The weather forecast as was showing provided no signs of unclear and bad weather. Instead it was quite a clear and sunny day. However when it started to pass over a certain region of that ocean, there were major signs of a massive storm which of course included heavy rain with chances of hail as well.

The pilots were dumbfounded at this sudden change of circumstances. At that time they were entering a point which was thought to be the center of a triangle formed by adjoining Florida, Bermuda and Puerto Rico.

After a couple of minutes pass by flying over the ocean while the pilots were trying their best to maintain posture to avoid any unnecessary uneasiness and havoc, the weather was seemingly getting worse and worse by the minute. Turbulence started to shake up the plane bit by bit and before it could get any crazier, the co-pilot of the plane contacted the Communications Headquarter in the airport to find a solution and asked for advice.

“Hello, this is co-pilot of flight 367 speaking. We need urgent help on our current situation due to unclear and bad weather condition. Over .”

“Roger that. We have currently no data on this issue. Try to manage the plane to safety until we have some information and we will let you know. Over.”

“Copy that.”

Then the co-pilot relayed the instructions to the main pilot.

“I guess I have to put my years of experience into use now.”

“I will also try my best to help you Sir.”

They started to keep the plane from tilting through the storm but alas! The one thing that was being feared had come to reality.

Meanwhile, in the lobby, Satomi tried his best to handle the situation of agitation arising among the passengers owing to the disturbance in the flight. He told everyone,
“Attention everyone. I am Satomi, an army officer, and I would like you all to calm down. I am experienced in these type of cases since I had to go through hellish and intense training and this situation is nowhere near my pain. However, this is a regular phenomenon whilst moving through a storm so there is no need to worry. We should have faith on the pilots and maintain harmony here.”

Everyone then discussed among themselves, ‘He is right, we should not be too paranoid.’

Even though many people were still in doubt and were constantly bothering the crew by asking about their safety, the situation calmed down a bit from earlier.
On the other hand, Satomi was paying heed to the old people in the flight. There was no other talks with Nora since she was minding her own business not even flinching to the current situation as she was unaware due to her concentration on gaming.

But it was right at that time when the pilots in the cabin noticed that the fuel tank of the plane drained almost instantaneously and both the engines were slowing down with signs of stopping in a minute or so.

The captain made one last announcement right then and there to all the passengers,
“This is your captain speaking. It is really unfortunate but I have to tell you all that we have no chances of survival. I am really sorry that I couldn’t ensure all of my passengers safety and have risked all of your lives. May our Creator have mercy on us… Brace for impact!”

The plane had already shut down mysteriously and started to fall in the deep waters of the Atlantic Ocean.

There was a huge desolation within the lobby of the plane and everyone started to panic and praying to their respective religion heads.

Meanwhile, following his words Satomi covered Nora with his body to protect her from any foreign object or to assure that she somehow survived. Nora coming to her sense just before a few minutes of the plane crashing was astounded and became really scared so that she curled herself up like a cat on the seat. She witnessed the bravery of Satomi with her own eyes and just before the plane crashed at the Atlantic Ocean, a sudden hit was felt by Nora in her heart as she kept her eyes upon what she thought was the Shining Knight in Armor from her dreams who would be the man of her life if she ever met him.

She suddenly, on her unconscious mind grabbed Satomi by the abdomen and tightly locked her hug with him coming out of her scared position. Her ears were placed right beside the firm and strong chest of Satomi from which she could hear his heartbeats beating more louder and faster by the second. Whereas, Satomi could feel the warmth of the body of scared Nora along with her every disrupted heartbeat. Even in the face of life and death they started to blush and it sure would make a moment of great memory for them but did it really end this happily though?

Unfortunately, without any of them knowing that their so called crush over each other was a both-sided love, the plane had already crashed into the ocean and sunk deep into the ocean bed.

Soon rescue teams were sent on helicopters and boats were sent to inform the authority regarding any survivors or the plane crash but it was a matter of huge surprise that no vehicle could pass the triangle region formed by the earlier mentioned state since all the vehicles would mysteriously shut down.

This phenomenon is still a case of mystery in the present world and researchers have termed this triangle region as “The Bermuda’s Triangle”.

This was the incident that led Satomi and Nora in the lands of Cancri after thousands of year. It goes without a saying that Satomi Kurosaki is Tomika Saki whereas, Suchika Nora is Nagami Nakamura in the world they are currently residing in with minds filled with questions and no idea of how they came into that world. The memories that they could recall upto were the memories before the day they were boarding the same flight. Even though their mystery is still a mystery, major part of it has been revealed. But we have to consider the fact that the main characters are still ignorant of their last memory.
