Chapter 1:

Volume 1. Chapter 1 Summoned

Summoned To Another World

A teenage boy saw a mysterious circle as he walked home after school.

It took him a few seconds to realize that the circle was a magic circle.

Instead of avoiding it, the circle came and swallowed him.

“…..” A light appeared in a very dark room.

Bruk…!

The circle threw the teenager.

“…This is the first time I've seen a magic circle able to catch up.” The teenager was surprised.

“This place is so dark, plus. I don't feel pain in my buttocks.” Curious.

“Hmm…?” Feeling something strange.

“Can you get off of me?”

The teenager heard two voices that were familiar to him.

“Rii, Vail! What are you doing here?" The teenager was very surprised to find his two school friends below him.

“I don't know either, but for now…GET AWAY FROM ABOVE US!”

“Ah…sorry-sorry.”

The teenager immediately stood up so that his two friends could wake up.

"Hey...use your eyes!" One of Rii's hands was stepped on by the teenager.

“Blame this place for being so dark,” The teenager informed.

After Rii was out of the way, Vail began to wake up from the ground.

“My white shirt…it will be difficult to clean if you don't wash it soon.” Vail groaned and swept his white shirt with both hands, not sure whether it was dirty or not because the place was so dark.

"Why are you here?" The teenager was so curious.

"I should be the one asking why you are here, Cini." Rii was so curious.

"No, I should be the one asking why you are here?" Vail was so surprised by his two friends who were in the same place as him.

“….” Cini felt in his trouser pocket for something.

“Before that, I saw a mysterious circle appear above my head. And suddenly the circle caught me.” Rii told about the experience gained.

“What a coincidence, I also had the same incident. The circle appeared before my eyes when I was going home.” Cini said, he was still feeling around for his phone.

“What about you, Vail?” Cini was so curious and was still looking for his phone in the pocket.

"What I remember, is I was lying down on the sofa without changing clothes first," Vail said he didn't know how he could be in such a dark place.

"Finally found it..." Cini finally got a phone which was stored in the shoe.

“…..” When pressing the power button to turn on the cellphone, and when the cellphone screen is on. He was shocked to see that his phone screen was cracked.

“Why is it cracking again? Even though I just replaced it two months ago, with byproducts.” Cini was very complaining and tired, accepting the fact that him cellphone screen had cracked again after being replaced two months ago.

"Is it difficult to replace a cellphone screen—"

"Talking is easy, do you think you don't use money?" Cini interrupted Vail's words, he both reprimanded and complained.

"As long as it's still normal to touch, it's fine," Rii informed.

“Ha…it's you,” Cini complained.

Cini took the lead and lit the road in front of them, using the flashlight on the phone.

“….” Rii sniffed, he felt something strange.

"Is my nose damaged or does it smell unpleasant?" Rii wanted to make sure his nose's sense of smell wasn't problematic.

"Moreover, how did you escape the checks carried out every day at the school gate?" Vail was surprised to see that Cini always escaped cellphone raids.

" There will be no end to you discussing this, Vail," Rii told his friend not to think about it.

"As long as you don't get caught, nothing will-" Cini's left foot tripped on something, causing his to fall and the phone he was holding. As well as making the cellphone flashlight turn off.

“It's very good, you already have a flashlight from your cellphone. Still falling," Rii was so annoyed with Cini, who still couldn't see when he had the light from his phone.

"If I knew, who would I want to go first?" Cini said, that he was also annoyed.

They fell around on the ground in the darkness, looking for Cini's cell phone which had fallen earlier.

“Where—Aaa..!” One of Cini's hands was stepped on by one of his friends.

"When you walk, use your eyes." Cini didn't know who stepped on one of his hands, he just reprimanded him.

“Blame your hand there,” Vail replied to Cini's previous words.

“…..” Vail's two hands that were feeling around found something.

“What is this—AAa!” Vail screamed so loudly, and reflexively jumped back like a frog and got goosebumps.

“Don't shout like that, Vail. My ears started ringing hearing that.” Cini reprimanded Vail for screaming quite loudly, and it hurt his ears.

“My hand felt like it was touching a human head,” Vail tells what he touched with both hands.

“Don't scare me, Vail. It could be that you are just holding a rock, and your brain reflexively responds to it being ahead." Cini said, that he tries to avoid scary things.

“Rii? I didn't hear you talking, did you faint—" The light shone into Cini's eyes, making unable to see for a few seconds.

“My eyes!” Cini rubbed his eyes.

"Ah...sorry it wasn't on purpose, but that was the intention," Rii said in a teasing voice.

“At least explain everything—”

“HAAA!” Rii shouted in surprise.

Rii saw an adult's body right behind Cini.

Without thinking, he immediately pointed his cellphone flashlight in all available directions. And found dozens of terrible corpses.

“….” The three of them felt like the wind had hit and passed, and it made them almost unable to stand.

"Did a massacre happen here?" Vail concluded all the possibilities, after seeing the state they were in.

"Don't say things like that Vail, you've scared me so much now," Cini complained about Vail's words which led to sadistic murder.

“…..” Rii was still looking in all directions and found something.

"Guys…"

The three of them saw a woman dressed like a witch, with her limbs still intact.

"Why is there a woman here?" Rii was so curious.

“….” Vail slowly walked closer to the woman.

"What are you doing? What if the woman is the murderer? We will die if she opens her eyes.” Cini is a little worried about the negative things that will happen to them in the future.

“…..” Vail touched the woman's head and placed the index finger of his right hand under the woman's nose.

"She is still alive," Vail told his two friends.

"Rii, can you help me?"

"Okay." Rii understood the meaning of Vail's words.

“….” Rii and Vail carried the woman, with each woman's hands on their shoulders.

“You're joking, right?” Cini was so worried about safety.

Cini asked his two friends to let the woman go, before their lives were at stake.

“Cini, don't you feel sorry? If you meet a woman who has fainted in a terrible place like this?" Vail rebuked Cini's complaints.

"Cini..." Rii threw the cell phone at Cini.

“…Well, I won't be responsible if she's the murderer.” Cini caught the cell phone and returned to leading the way.

They managed to find a way out, but only after getting out of that dark place. Now they found themselves in a very shady forest.

“Why stop?” Vail was surprised to see that Cini, who was leading the way, suddenly stopped.

“We've passed this place before.” Cini realized that they were lost in the forest.

"Are you sure?" Rii wanted to confirm his friend's words.

“….” Vail and Rii, who were carrying the woman, saw Cini walking and approaching a certain tree.

“Damn, we got lost here. This tree has a sign I made as a guide.” Cini told his two friends.

"You mean, we are trapped in this wilderness?" Vail wanted to make sure his thinking was correct.

“That's the fact,” Cini confirmed Vail's words.

They continued their journey back but ended up in the same place. And I have tried as many times as possible, but they still end up in the same place.

“Insolent bastard!” Cini threw his phone, because he was so annoyed.

“You blame the devil, even though they didn't necessarily do this.” Vail felt sorry.

“Vail, look…” Rii pointed to Vail's left side.

They saw a small house that looked like a hut and was made from branches and forest wood.

“….” They approached the small house.

Rii went into the house to check.

"...This house is still habitable, I saw a simple room inside," Rii told his two friends.

"Why can there be a house in the forest?" Cini was very curious, about whether he didn't see or didn't see a house in the forest.

"Rii, Cini, help me lift it. My hands are almost numb." Vail told him the situation himself.

They helped Vail lift the woman. and took them to the room that Rii had mentioned before, then they left the woman.

Three months later.

Bruuuk!

“….” Rii heard a sound from the front of the house.

Rii approached the source of the sound and found that his two friends had returned from hunting animals. To meet food needs.

“It's so tiring, I can't believe it even if I use magic. But still very tired." Cini complains about his daily life.

"It is because-"

“I know that no need to explain.” Cini interrupted Vail's words, wanting to comment on his complaint.

"There's never a day without complaining, that's Cini," Rii tells and taunts Cini.

"At least give me drinking water..." Cini became tired, when he heard Rii's words.

"How is that woman?" Vail wanted to know the woman's situation and condition.

"She still hasn't opened her eyes," Rii told his two friends about the woman's condition.

“There's no need to think about it, even though the situation is very serious,” Cini told his two friends, not to let the current situation become a burden on their minds.

“…..” Cini approached the wooden wall and again crossed the wooden wall with a stone. He did that for a matter of days.

They started to get busy with the task of preparing their lunch.

"Cini...has the fish you caught been cut?" Vail said he asked, because he had almost finished preparing the ingredients for making grilled fish.

"I just wanted to cut," Cini, who was outside the house, told his friend who was inside the house.

Cini cut the fish with the woman's drill or knife.

Rii, who was not far from Cini, was rubbing two stones. To produce a fire that they will use.

“…..” Sparks appeared and burned the dry wood that had been shaved into small pieces like hair.

"Finally..." Rii was so happy to find that the fire had been obtained.

"Rii, can you make the fire ready to use in three minutes?" Cini wants to be sure.

“Okay, I'll do it.” Rii didn't mind Cini's words.

After Cini finished preparing the grilled fish, they saw Vail leaving the house carrying a bowl-like container they made from clay.

“….” They grill fish as if they were having a picnic in the forest.

"Without realizing it, it seems like we have gotten used to this new world," Cini said what he felt.

“I feel that way too,” Rii informed.

“We also consider this a new experience—”

In the middle of their conversation, a voice came from inside the house.

"Just let me see it." Rii offered to see the woman.

Knock. Knock. Knock.

"…Please come in." The woman allowed the person who knocked on the door to enter.

“….” Rii opened the door, because the woman had given the permission.

The woman saw a man carrying a cup made from clay.

"How is your condition, has it improved?" Rii approached the woman and gave the cup to the woman.

“Thank you…sorry to cause you trouble, I'm getting better.” The woman took the cup from the man's hand.

“We didn't feel inconvenienced at all,” Rii told the woman.

"We?" The woman was very confused and a little shocked.

“Yes, we—”

“RII, THE FISH IS ALMOST COOKED!”

“….” Rii and the woman heard a voice that was quite loud and strong.

"Don't forget to bring her too!"

“….” They heard Vail's voice, although he didn't scream like Cini.

"Sorry if they shouted like that." Rii felt bad for the woman, because his two friends were screaming.

“I'm not bothered by that at all.” The woman didn't mind at all.

Rii and the woman walked out of the house.

In the yard of the house, the woman saw two scratched stones. At that moment she realized that the stone was used as an intermediary to obtain fire.

“Are you guys unable to use magic, to the point of using abandoned methods?” The woman was very curious, because there were still people who used the old method.

“We're not used to using magic yet, and still need to retrain,” Rii told the woman the reason they used stones as a medium for fire.

"In celebration of you having opened your eyes, please take and eat this grilled fish." Vail handed him the skewered grilled fish.

"Thank You." The woman accepted and took the grilled fish from Vail's hand.

"Can I-"

“Just save that question for later. Now it's lunchtime.” Vail interrupted the woman's words and spoke.

The woman followed Vail's words.

It took them an hour to finish all the grilled fish.

“….” Rii came with a container that looked like a basin with water in it, as a means for washing their hands.

“So, what do you want to say?” Cini asked the woman to ask.

"Can you tell me how I got here? Because what I remember, I was fighting the demon king's ancestor's subordinates.” The woman said what she had been holding back before.

“We'll tell from what we see,” Rii told the woman.

"It's okay, as long as it's related to what I'm asking." The woman didn't mind it.

“We only saw a group of people dressed in black die in bad condition, and only you were still alive. Then we brought you here." Vail said so briefly.

“We thought you were the murderer—”

“I'm not the murderer! They are the group I lead.” The woman said, denying Cini's unfinished words.

"We're just making sure," Cini explained the reason he asked.

“….” The woman immediately realized that the summons had failed miserably.

"Who are you fighting against?" Rii was so curious.

“Eh? Don't any of you know?" The woman was shocked to realize, that the three men who helped her did not know the opponent who wanted to rule the world.

“We come from far away,” Vail told the woman.

“The Union fought against the ancestor of the demon king, and the three demon kings who were subordinate to the ancestor.” The woman explained briefly.

"We are combined wizards from various kingdoms, who were ordered to unite to summon heroes in the sacred forest."

“But that group was defeated by the ancestor's subordinates,” Rii said what the woman said before.

“….” The woman nodded with a contemplative face.

The three men looked at each other and decided to tell.

"Before that, let me introduce myself...my name is Vail."

"He's Rii..."

“…” Rii nodded his head as a sign of greeting.

"And the one on my left is Cini."

"..." Cini raised one of him hands parallel to his shoulder.

“And finally…it seems like the summoning was successful.”

"Is it true?!" The woman was enthusiastic and happy again.

“Ah…sorry, I forgot to introduce myself. My name is Nia, Nia Aghture…a witch from the kingdom of—Before that! where are they now? Did you save the hero?”

The woman passed the name of the kingdom she came from.
