Injuries

Asset turned on Patty angrily. "It's all your fault, woman!" Patty was understanding when it came to the reason for his hate but now she had no time for arguing. "Listen you little fucker, move your furry butt over right here! You will turn into a werewolf and take Romulus on your back and you WILL... follow me!" She was looking straight into his eyes with that serious glare.

Even Zeev was taken aback by the sudden change in attitude. He had never seen her behaving in that way. Asset-751 looked at Zeev, who just nodded. He approved of what she said. It was like an order from an alpha female. Zeev felt proud, he picked the right one.

They covered quite a distance and at Patty's home, she just sloppily wrapped some bandages around her burned hands and then tended at first for Romuluse's wounds, and after was Zeev's turn.

The odor of copper could be smelled in the whole apartment but Asset did smell primarily Patty's scent and it made him extremely uncomfortable. He sat in the kitchen on the chair in a small ball of misery.

Zeev slept in the master bedroom near the entrance and Romulus on the other side of the apartment. Despite exhaustion, Patty asked if Asset needed some tending. He growled at her. She sighed. "I am, really sorry I snapped at you in the forest but we had no time for bickering. So, forgive me for my rudeness."

Asset turned his head and rather looked out of the window pouting. Patty left for the bathroom, where she exchanged the loose bandages for clean ones. In the light, it didn't seem to be that badly burned, just like some irritation, but it will take some time to heal for sure.

She slumped down on a settee in the living room. It was late in the night and maybe early in the morning. That kind of time, when one isn't sure. A white-haired figure with glowing emerald eyes stood in the door frame. Patty turned fearlessly her head towards him. "Do you need some company?"

Asset was annoyed by that question but didn't want to admit, that he was overwhelmed right now. He never saw the outside, nonetheless a human dwelling place. All those strange furniture and devices that created weird sounds made him nervous, especially that huge box in the kitchen.

After entering the room, she pointed out to the couch. "You can relax there, it's comfortable." Comfortable? What is that for a word? As soon, as his butt touched that soft, smooth surface he melted right into it. He knew only the hard floor and the table in the examination laboratory.

Patty kept an observing eye on him and reached out to him with a pillow in her hand. Asset-751 growled at her. What was she trying to do? Attack him? Unfased, she just showed him what he should do with it. "Just lay it down and rest your head on it." He imitated the gesture. It felt so nice, he never owned anything like this.

In just a minute he was out cold. He slept like someone killed him. Patty made sure, he was asleep and sound and then came closer to him with a folded blanket hanging over her forearm.  She tried to be sneaky and silent, so she would be able to cover him without waking up that angry werewolf.

What she didn't know, he was fully awake and just pretending to sleep. Something he did at the facility pretty often to ambush the guards. He was ready to pounce at her if she would try something or hurt him. Instead, he could feel something light touching his body from the feet up to his chest.

Patty tucked him in carefully and then left the room to check on the other two sleeping werewolves. So warm and soft... Asset thought to himself. Now, he fell asleep for real. He didn't even notice when she returned and sat back at her previous spot. She also fell asleep there.

Short, before the sun rose, Asset woke up confused but well-relaxed. He spotted Patty sleeping in the same room and he growled. It woke her up. "Oh common, aren't we past this already?" Romulus entered the room and gave a low growl into Asset's way to make him submit to Romulus. The white-haired one just lowered his head.

Patty was worried about the injury from that silver pole and jumped up to support his body. Romulus gleamed in the attention. He was mostly healed but pretended to be still injured and leaned on her. "Please, pet me! I need that to recover!"

Asset was dumbfounded. How could he act so comfortably in the presence of a female human? He watched them sitting down on the settee, Romulus all over her. "You are a little heavy. Do you even need to be this cuddly?!" Patty laughed.

"It will help me recover and I won't be able to do that later after Zeev wakes up. Just do it already!" Romulus was grabbing her wrist and petting himself on the head with it. He forgot about her burn, but she didn't remind him. It wasn't that painful anymore.

Asset, with his mouth wide open, just looked at them. Romulus was completely subdued and tamed by that human woman. How did she do that? Romulus was known to be the most dangerous and rebellious at the facility. Never missed an opportunity to attack humans or cause havoc with the guards and here he was, all cuddled up to that weird female.

It piqued Asset's interest. How did she do that? How did she tame the wildest beast? Will she do that to him too? He hoped not. Asset-751 didn't want to end like some human's pet. Patty was stroking Romulus not only on his head but also on his back. If he were a cat he would purr.

This went on for a while until Zeev's menacing glare was coming from the entrance hall. "Get lost from her!" Romulus rolled his eyes and stood up, walking past Zeev but not without giving him a side eye back. 

Zeev hugged his mate and placed a kiss on her forehead. Asset kept being dumbfounded. Who is she?! Zeev could sense the energy coming from Asset and just glared at him. It was a warning to stay submissive in his presence. Then he turned back to his beloved one with the most loving eyes. "How are your hands? Can I see them?!"

Patty obliged. The bandages dropped to the ground and she just stared shocked at the palms of her hands and then switched to Zeev. Her hands were completely healed. How was that possible?!
