Chapter 3 'let's get started'

When revenine returned there was a enormous feast ready for me the whole time I was eating she just kept on looking at me with such admiration and when I looked her way she diverted her gaze and her face became quite red ,a normal person would've thought that she likes me and there were lots of signs and with my charm how can someone not ,but I don't wish to be the type of guy who mistakes a girl just being nice for liking me ,I am inexperienced in this sort of thing guess I'll just watch what she does for now, after finishing my food I started to explore the place she literally followed me everywhere and whenever I asked her why she is following me she said 'a good disciple should follow her master everywhere ' soon it was night time for me to sleep or so I thought , Revenine was on my bed I asked why she was there and she said ' master I just wanted to get closer to you so I decided this was the best method to spend more time with you , I apologise if I made you uncomfortable ,could it be it's masters first time sleeping in a bed with another person ,because Its my first time even sleeping In the same room as another person ' because of my dumb pride I said ' of course not I have no problem with you sleeping in my bed I am too mature to worry about something so childish ' she jumped and hugged me and said 'thank you master your the best ' I was quite surprised by this because today in the castle she was cold and distant towards everyone else and whenever someone tried start a conversation she just ended the conversation by saying that she had something to do which was basically staring at me while I ate and before the feast her father the king had requested that I take care of her and told me she had always been a loner had no friends ,after all that I wondered why she behaved so differently around me.

So came the time to sleep , although I had said sleeping in the same bed as revenine won't make me uncomfortable, I couldn't even close my eyes I just kept on looking at the window , while she was hugging me in her sleep like I was some teddy bear or a body pillow, it was a truly tragic night I couldn't get any sleep

for breakfast I only asked for a cup of coffee

While drinking The coffee I asked revenine ' after having me as your master for a whole day could you give your honest opinion on me'

Revenine replied with smile ' master ever since I attended my first ball men tried to approach me and I have always hated other people , so as I am a mage I created a magic barrier to keep people away from me , but when I saw you had the same cold eyes as me and a disdain for people but I knew you were stronger and better because you're eyes didn't possess the same loneliness as mine , you were somehow able to live your life alone without feeling lonely I wished for that strength , yesterday in your room I was almost asleep and didn't have blanket on me so you just put a blanket over me and to you it might have been a simple act but for me that showed me that you were not only the strongest but the kindest master as well , that's why I love you master' realising what she said she looked away while hiding her face with her hands and blushing

Me on the other hand thought to myself ' I shouldn't assume she loves me as a man maybe she just loves me as her master'

Just then a loud blast came from the outside in interrupted us

it seems there was a army all dressed in black armors outside

So I set my coffee down on the table and said ' let's get started '
