The mad queen

As everyone stared in horror, Haruki's worried face morphed into a gloating one. "AHAHAHA! LOOK AT THAT! SHE COULDN'T LAST! AND AS PER THE RULES, THAT COUNTS AS A DOWN!"

"1! 2! 3! 4! 5! 6! 7! 8! 9! KO! Mimoko Inoue is unable to continue. Elijah, wins!" the loudspeaker stated as Mimoko was imprisoned in a bubble.

"OI! SHE NEEDS TREATMENT!" Yuusuke yelled from within his own bubble.

"Huh? Whoops, forgot to mention those things are soundproof on the outside, so we can't hear ya," Haruki sneered.

"He said she needs medical treatment," Okisato glared.

"Not my problem. If she dies before this is over, that's on her," Haruki sneered as a man clad in Australian outback attire entered the ring.

"I'll go," Iori nodded as she stepped into the ring and turned towards Haruki. "What happens if someone dies? Does the murderer lose?"

"Nah, if someone dies in the ring, that's on them for being weak, so sorry, sacrificing yourself won't get you a win, or even send my boy to prison. Besides, Niles used to run wild in the Australian outback back in the day, so he's already got plenty of killing experience in more ways than one, so don't worry, you'll die just as you want, and seal my victory," Haruki sneered.

"I see," Iori somberly nodded as the bell rang.

Before anyone could react, Iori immediately unleashed a lightning fast uppercut, sending her opponent flying into the air before crashing down into the ring. Blood oozed out of Nile's mouth as the 10-count began.

"1! 2! 3! 4! 5! 6! 7! 8! 9! KO! Iori wins!"

"Oi, oi, The hell just happened!? Did he just die!?" Haruki fumed.

"YO! My Knock-Out!! skillz finally paid off! I'm streamin’ that game again in celebration!" Iori gloated as she struck a pose.

Grigori glared as Iori exited the ring. "Based on Haruki's reaction, that proxy has likely been killed. That woman... So there was a lurking threat," he thought.

"That move, it wasn't an ordinary punch... Now I finally understand. Iori-chan, you've killed... a lot," Okisato thought.

Utami clenched her fist as she stared at Mimoko.

"Damn, I'm surprised she's still alive. Who knows, she might even die before this is over," Haruki sneered.

"YOU FIEND! YOU SAID-"

"Sure, IF ya win, all the injuries you all received will be healed, but the DESPER can't bring the dead back to life. See my poor man that your clown-haired wacko just killed won't come back to life even when I win. Must be a double sucker for ya, not only did Mimoko-tan collapse just before winning, but even if you do win, she'll likely be dead before she can be healed. After all, you'll need to win all the remaining rounds straight, which will take up a bunch of time."

"Don't you DARE try to kill off Mimoko-sama!"

"So you're next then. Alright, my boy Alejandro will fuck you up nicely," Haruki sneered as a large man with menacing tattoos on his back and arms stepped into the ring. "You know he used to run a gang back in the day, but got caught and went to prison. He was gonna be sent to death row, but luckily, I had a connection in the government that allowed me to meet with him, and get him out scot-free."

"I wouldn't call becoming a mindless puppet getting out scot-free, nonetheless, I guess he had it coming," Okisato glared.

"So heartless, I thought you felt bad for my boys."

"Only the ones that used to be decent people."

"How mean, well guess Kazuya's gonna owe me one," Haruki sneered as the bell rang.

Alejandro immediately charged at Utami, who didn't seem to be phased in the slightest, nor dodge as Alejandro landed a direct hit on her face.

"And it's over," Haruki sneered as Utami began to fall.

STOMP!

Everyone stared in shock as Utami maintained her balance. "You think I'd go down after what you did to Mimoko-sama!? BRING IT!" she shouted as she wiped the blood off her face.

Alejandro once again began his assault, but this time, Utami dodged all his punches.

"Oi, oi! How the hell is a scrawny girl like her still standing!?" Haruki fumed.

Okisato began to smirk. "Because she's willing to push herself to the limit to beat you."

As the bell rang, Haruki began to seethe with rage as Utami glared at him. "That bitch! How dare she still stand after taking that punch! Fine, I'll destroy her in chess," he thought.

As Utami approached the board, the table it was on suddenly turned around, causing her to now face the black end of the board. "What is the meaning of this!?"

"It's a little mercy gift. See, black's actually got draw odds in chess boxing, so long as both the chess and boxing end in draws, so enjoy the little gift," Haruki sneered as Alejandro wasted no time in moving his pawn to e4.

"You fiend, so you'll resort to foul tricks like this? Then I'll vanquish you before the bell sounds," Utami declared as she moved her pawn to d5.

"You WILL lose!" Haruki sneered as Alejandro captured the pawn at d5 with his e-pawn, while Utami swiftly captured said pawn with her queen. "You really like usin’ your queen, well too bad you're up against one of the biggest queen abusers on the planet," Haruki sneered as Alejandro moved his knight to c3.

"You are vile," Utami glared in disgust as she moved her queen to e6.

"So how bout ya resign then?" Haruki sneered as he moved his queen to e2.

"You think I'd resign after all that you've done!? I'm going to eviscerate you," Utami glared as she moved her knight to c6.

Haruki began to chuckle. "I heard ya got some split personality going. Well, now I'm definitely makin’ you a sex slave. And rest assured, I'll make sure you’re at your strongest when I dehumanize ya," Haruki sneered as Alejandro moved his knight to b5.

"Never have I ever been more disgusted in someone. Enough talk," Utami glared as she moved her queen to d7.

"This is a DESPER match, so we can talk all we want without repercussions,” Haruki sneered as Alejandro moved his knight to f3.

Utami scowled, but realized she'd best focus on the ask ahead of her. Despite being a piece of shit, Haruki's skill at chess was no joke. While there was still lots of time left before the round ended, Utami cold ot afford to waste too much time thinking as Harukicould easily try to go for the win in the next boxing round.

After some deliberation, she moved her pawn to a6. Haruki smirked as Alejandro moved his knight to c3 followed by Utami moving her knight to f6. Sensing an advantage, Haruki had Alejandro move his pawn to h3 and watched as Utami moved her pawn to e5.

Now Haruk had begun to chuckle as Alejandro captured the pawn at e5 with his knight, with his confidence only increasing after Utami captured said knight with her knight. "What a dumb bitch. Now take a good look at how I use my bitch," Haruki sneered as Alejandro captured the knight at e5 with his queen, forcing Utami to move her bishop to e7. "Come on Utami-tan, get all angry for me. That way I can compare ya before and after I fuck ya up," he sneered as he moved his pawn to d4 and whipped out his phone.

"That's blatant cheating!" Utami shouted.

"Nah, see DESPER's prevent cheating of any kind. Besides, I'm just takin’ your pic."

"Then clearly your DESPER is busted, because phones are NOT allowed," Okisato glared as he walked over to Haruki.

Haruki attempted to continue the provocations, however, his high was cut short by the DESPER announcing a penalty for his actions. As a result, the chess round would be extended by another 3 minutes, much to Haruki's annoyance.

"Before, I was hesitant to fall to insanity to achieve victory, now, I have no qualms about making you cry. Scum like you deserves to suffer," Utami glared as she castled on the king's side.

Haruki snickered and played a whipping sound effect on his phone before Alejandro moved his queen to e3. This also resulted in another 1 minute of penalty time being added to the clock. After Utami moved her rook to e8, Haruki once again played the whip sound effect as Alejandr moved his queen to e2, adding another minute of time to the round.

A pissed off scowl appeared on Utami's face as she glared at Haruki. "That piece of shit doesn't even care at this point. Well fine, he wants to tempt fate, I'll humiliate him," she thought as she rapidly moved her bishop to a3.

"Wow, now you're sentencing your bishop to lynching. What a dumbass," Haruki sneered as Alejandro captured the bishop at a3 with his b-pawn.

"Check, you piece of shit," Utami seethed with fury as she captured the queen at e2 with her rook.

Haruki blinked in shock before a scowl almost as nasty as Utami's appeared on his face. "Don't you dare try and uprise against me you fucking whore," he snarled as Alejandro captured the rook at e2 with his knight.

Now the gloves were off as the game picked up at a rapid pace. Utami moved her queen to a4 followed by Alejandro advancing his pawn to c3. Utami then moved her queen to c2 while Alejandro moved his bishop to g5. Utami then decided to threat the bishop by moving her knight to e4, but was forced to capture the pawn at a2 on her next turn instead after Haruki moved his rook to c1.

"Oh, wonder how Mimoko-tan's doing. She dead yet!?" Haruki hollered as Alejandro moved his bishop to f4.

Within the prison area, Yuusuke and Numakawa attempted to try their best to help stabilize Mimoko. Mimoko was still alive, but her pulse was getting weaker. Utami glanced over at her briefly before refocusing and moving her bishop to f5.

Haruki continued the provocations as Alejandro moved his pawn to f3, but Utami didn't give in and moved her knight to f6.

Okisato glanced at the board and began contemplating how the game could go. "G4, bishop d3, bishop captures c7, rook e8, bishop e5, knight d5, rook d1, bishop captures e2, knight captures c3, rook d2. If that comes to pass, Utami-chan will be in a good position," he thought.

Sure enough, all that came to pass and after Utami moved her queen to b1, her chances were looking even better. Though it was still a race against the clock, as she needed to finish as quickly as possible to save Mimoko. Luckily, Haruki was unable to stall, forcing Alejandro to move his rook to d1. Utami moved her queen to c2 as Haruki scowled and had Alejandro move his rook back to d1. This prompted Utami to capture it with her knight, and Alejandro to capture said knight with his bishop. However, that move allowed Utami the chance to move her queen to e3.

Alejandro reached for his bishop, but Haruki stopped him just before his hand touched the piece. "That fucking whore! I'll kill her for this!" he fumed as Alejandro moved his king to f1.

A sadistic grin began to spread on Utami's face as she moved her pawn to f6.

The look on Utami's face ended up calming Haruki down a bit, much to everyone's shock. "Oi, what's with that sexy look? You tryin’ to turn me on?" Haruki cooed as Alejandro moved his bishop to g3.

Utami's scowl immediately returned. "Just when I was about to gloat in my victory, you disgust me once more," she glared as she moved her queen to d2.

"What victory? Check, Utami-tan," Haruki smooched as Alejandro moved his bishop to b3.

"You are vile. I would love to punch you in your disgusting face, but sadly that would probably bring you pleasure," Utami glared as she moved her king to h8.

"But that doesn't mean you still can't do it, and get DQ'd for attacking a spectator," Haruki taunted as Alejandro moved his bishop to d5.

"Why would I? You just sealed your fate, TRASH!" Utami roared as she moved her rook to e2.

"The hell you playin’ at?" Haruki scowled as Alejandro moved his bishop to b3.

Utami remained silent and moved her queen to d3.

"OI! Don't ignore me you fucking whore!" Haruki shouted as Alejandro slammed his bishop down on f2.

"Fine, mate in 4," Utami glared as she captured the pawn at f3 with her queen.

Haruki's eyes widened with fury as he stared at the board. "You FUCKING WHORE!" he shouted as Alejandro moved his rook to h2.

"How pathetic, you struggle like the trash you are," Utami glared as she moved her rook to b2.

Alejandro moved his bishop to d1 in a last ditch effort to throw off Utami, but Utami saw through it and moved her rook to b1. Now, Haruki's only option of delaying Alejandro's inevitable mate was to have him move his king to g1. As soon as said move was complete, Utami happily captured the bishop at d1 with her rook, forcing Alejandro to move his bishop to e1.

"Checkmate, you piece of shit," Utami glared as she captured the bishop at e1 with her rook.

Much to everyone's shock, a malicious grin was plastered on Haruki's face. "Oh, look at you, winning and thinking everything's all good. Newsflash, the only way to get out of this is to win all your remaining matches!"

"And why do you-"

"That dumb lug may be able to survive in the ring, but on the chessboard, I'll down him instantly. Oh, and it was all his fault too. Well, I'll make him burn down his farm, and every other damn farm in the world too."

Rodeo clenched his fist and immediately hopped into the ring.

"Hold up, you're gonna go now? Well, shucks, I was hoping for a 7th round victory. Welp, guess I'll just win by proxy," Haruki sneered as the last of his proxies entered the ring. "Gustavs here used to be a champion shot putter from Latvia, but lost to me at chess. He may not be my strongest, but he's easily my sturdiest."

"I'll win... I have to," Rodeo nodded as the bell rang.
