True colors.

Those memories still linger inside Sakiko's head. And those memories seem to come back whenever she sees Ayane.

Sakiko and Ayane live in the same neighbourhood, and Sakiko, by coincidence, met with Ayane when she moved there. It was after her mom divorced his ex-husband and started living alone.

"Is that Ayane?", she wondered, when she first saw her, as she was going to school. The school she goes to is Sakuragi High School, the school where Ayane finished her middle school with her trauma.

Her blood boiled again seeing her face that time. All she could thought is how to make Ayane's life as miserable as possible, not knowing how much trauma she had already gone through.

That day, after school, She went to Ayane's house and rang the bell. She already knew that her mom comes home late, so she could be extra confident about the matter.

"Who is this?", Ayane asked, as she opened the door.

"Yo, Ayane-chan."

"Oh! It is you! Sakiko-chan! Long time no see!", she said with a joyful expression, unaware of the hatred Sakiko has for her, "Come inside! Let me prepare you a cup of tea!"

"Well, if you insist.", she got inside the living room, taking out the shoes.

She looked around the house. It was all tidied up, and cozy. But the house was much smaller and cheaper that Sakiko's house, which added to her pride and jealousy.

"At least I am better than her in that aspect...", she thought.

"Here you go.", Ayane said.

"Eh!?", the sudden intrusion of Ayane scared her for a scond. The crackling sound of the unstable ceramic cups calmed her to hide her true feelings, before letting it go.

They engaged in little small talk, mostly about life and hows it been going. Before Sakiko brought out the topic and moved her plan on motion.

"By the way, when was the last time we met?"

"I forgot. It was like when we were 9 I guess? On the last family gathering that gandma and grandpa organised."

"I know right, time flies away fast. Too sad that we couldn't attend their funeral, buy you, your mom and your dad did, right?"

Sakiko's mentioning of her dad sent shivers down her spine. Sakiko could see the terror in her eyes, and enjoyed seeing it to a great extent. Her expression went blank again. Before she let out her true face.

"I still have connection with your dad. In fact, his phone number is saved in my phone. You know what will happen if I just call him and say, "I know where your family moved to", won't you?"

The atmosphere gloomed out. It was frightening. Her true colors came out in Ayanw's view. It was the worst. She wished she didn't open the door for her to enter.
