Chapter 53:

A Letter from Daughter to Elise Mom

Voice Academy Diaries

From Eric's perspective as Elise

"Here I go—throwing it now!"

Bride Narsha threw the bouquet with a grand gesture.

"You should go too," urged an unfamiliar aunt.

"Ahaha, I'm not really...”

I'm a man, and not about to marry one.

Yet, the bouquet flew right towards me and perfectly fit in my hands.

Huh?

"That's nice."

"That’s Akira’s school pair, right?"

"Are they that close, then?"

Murmurs started floating around.

No, it's not like that; I am destined to return to a man’s body someday.

And for some reason, Akira keeps glancing over at me, looking embarrassed!

What’s going on!

In the end, that explosive device, for some reason, did not detonate and was sunk to the bottom of the sea.

Sir Salieri's steel body remained battered, but the wedding proceeded smoothly under the clear blue sky.

When I returned to the girls' dorm, Barbara senior handed me a letter.

It was a 'Future Letter,' they say if it doesn’t alter history, it can be sent magically one-way from the future to the past.

"It's a letter from ten years in the future."

"From whom?"

"From your daughter."

I almost spit out my milk.

"No way! I have a daughter?"

"It's your child."

"To Mom. Are you doing well? I am fine. If it’s ten years ago, you just met Papa Akira. From now on, get lovey-dovey with Papa, become a man and a woman, and please give birth to me healthily. From Forte."

"No way!"

"Well, well. I too couldn’t believe at first that I'd become a mother, that I’d engage intimately with a man. But he was so bold, and, well, I decided to accept him. You'll understand in time too. Even from the outside, it's clear you're steadily becoming more of a woman."

Their warm gazes are blinding...!

Love and marriage should be Elise’s thing, once I revert to my original male body.

It has nothing to do with me as I’ll eventually become a man again.

"Elise, Akira is calling for you," another senior mentioned.

"Whoa!" I panicked.

"Good luck!" I was pushed forward, but no, that's not it!

As I stepped outside, Akira was waving.

He seemed inexplicably happy.

"What is it?"

Surely, surely, he’s not suggesting a date...

"Let me hear about it."

About what?

Surely not my romantic feelings?

But his tone dropped, indicating he wanted to discuss something serious.

"I heard there’s a way to revert Sir Salieri back. Tell me about it."
