the beginning

It was the morning of a sunny day, and Kaito was walking along the beach with his parents and younger sibling. Suddenly, scenes of bloodshed flashed before his eyes. Later, Kaito played ball with his sibling, but once again, the scene of blood appeared. Kaito was reading a story with his mother in bed, yet the image of blood returned. These were all images that appeared in Kaito's mind as he cried upon seeing his family's crushed car. Kaito was crying in front of the car, experiencing immense grief.
"No, Mom, Dad," he cried, but at that moment, his aunt arrived and took him away, saying, "Bid them farewell properly because we won't be coming back again."
"Why won't we come back? Won't they miss me? I'll miss them too," Kaito said, as his aunt couldn't hold back her tears. Later, they went home, and Kaito fell asleep. In his dream, he saw his family. His aunt was deeply saddened by this situation. Meanwhile, there was a knock on the door, and a message arrived from an unknown person with some money and a note. The message asked his aunt to take Kaito to their summer house out of town. His aunt was surprised by this message and didn't know what to do. Kaito woke up at this moment, tears streaming down his face. His aunt came in, wiped away his tears, and said, "Don't be sad, Kaito. Now go wash your face, dinner is ready, and afterward, we'll go get a train ticket."
"A train ticket? Why are we going somewhere suddenly?" Kaito asked.
"Yes, we're going to a very nice place."
"Where?"
"Let it be a surprise."
Kaito went, washed his face, had dinner with his aunt, put on the new black outfit he got with his mother, and set off with his aunt. On the way, his aunt whispered to herself, "No matter what happens, I will protect him."
