ACT 2 : Question Madness

<9:03 AM |March 9th | Classroom 3-C>

In two minutes, we read what was written on the monitor. My throat just feels dry after reading. I could see despair written on everyone's face and we believed it all along that we weren't at dreaming, its reality.

<9:08> everyone got on guard at the moment someone cheerfully opened the door and entered the class.

"Yey! everyone take a seat...I guess you guys have read the monitor already right so i will tell your first game today after I answer your questions hehe... I am not here to waste my time so choose this month's questions carefully."

the 4 of us took the second last row in order of Shikome Shizune - Hoshizora Miyabi -  Ryuuta Yanagi - Haruno Izaki <window side>.

[HEY GOD IS WITH US I AM SURE OF IT, IF WE PRAY, THIS DEVIL WILL BE PERISHED...I AM SURE GOD WILL LISTEN TO US HE WILL HELP US]. someone from the third row started making commotion.

I saw Izaki sweating as if he knows what will happen next when someone came up with their stupid ideology.

"Nonsense, I am the God you are talking here LOL".

she snaps her finger smiling and *plop* we heard a sound.

[huh? God? why can't i see suddenly]

[KHYAHHHHH~ HIS HEAD CUT IN HALF AND FELL DOWN THATS HORRIBLE!]

everyone screamed started panicked and chaos started created we tried to get outside of the class but-

[open-open-open-open-open-open haha we are doomed we all going to die like before... I can't even bulge the door haha *sob* *ngh*]

[I-I DON'T WANT TO DIE PLEASE WHOEVER YOU ARE SPARE ME]

Miyabi Hoshino who was sitting near me started breathing abnormally. Izaki quickly noticed and hold her hand to calm her panic attack. Suddenly we all started vibrations and ringtones filled up the class.

[H-Hey our phones are working looks like i got a message]

[M-me too] [Me too] [hey what's happening I got one too]

[Oye how the hell are we receiving messages when there isn't even network connection.]

I sensed that most of us stopped screaming and it was more silent with only three or four people making their crying noise. Most of us got drawn by the message on our phone. I checked my phone for the message too -

43 Students Alive of 44. Shamone Kazai died. Cause of Death - Annoyed Cute Teacher.

Today's game will be <Rock Paper Scissors> you will be randomly paired with 1 person from the class, and you need 3 rounds to survive. You all will be notified on message by <4:00 PM> today.

Rules : 1. You can use any means necessary but if one of the player dies during the game the other player will be eliminated by default.

2. you need to win 2 continuation round or 2 wins from 3 rounds.

3. Time limit : <10th March | 2:00 AM > and game will start from today <9th march | 5:00 PM>

"SO yeah, stop wasting my time and fearing me and talk to me too you know I feel lonely if you weaklings keep silent and keep making commotions out of nowhere sometimes." she pouts.

everyone ignored the dead body, and they all are giving attention to their phone and what the self-proclaimed God has to say.

Izaki looks pissed for some reason. And he couldn't hold back as I can see. He stands up from his seat and make everyone's attention towards to him. He took a deep sigh, and his mouth starts moving.

"Say creature - N the thing I confirmed that you aren't a human and i am not sure that saying stuff like these will end up killing me. Why do we have to play this game and why do you have to kill that guy over there...I don't understand your character at all".

It's rare to see Izaki being polite looks like he can't take risk, so he is actually being polite and taking to her while no one dared to even look at her eyes.

"Hm so these were your two ques-"

"No-". She ignored Izaki and kept on going.

"First answer to the question...hehe... because it is boring and I just wanted to see how you all going to prioritize life....and now to the second answer to the question is...He was annoying...but relax I will hold back from now on to not kill anyone of you from now onwards, in fact be happy that the only way to live is to survive so your life is I'm your own hands...now your third last question of this month."

The self-proclaimed God intentionally took his words as the questions to put us on cliff.

Ryuuta looked left and write to see if anyone raised their hands for the third question but not everyone has guts to be brave and ask questions to this self-proclaimed god knowing she might kill them, so no one bothered.

"You aren't going to question then who will? fast - fast I am getting b-o-r-e-d." she pouts. "Fine think and question me the last one. Even I know you messed up there Hehe he~ I give you 10 minutes, decide fast *yawns*."

"I messed up I lost my temper and didn't knew that motherfu*ker would actually take my useless words for questions".

he took his seat and starts talking to me I can see his ears turned red because of frustrations.

"mmhm." I started sweating unable to reply.

"Say Yanagi I came up with these three questions one was -

1. Was the paragraph that was shown on the monitor was true? Secondly....

2. Suppose we won this game... would we still be alive in real world knowing we were actually dead there. And for third

3. If we kill him will we be free?

but a shitbag like me messed it up...I am sorry really it's not my fault".

Its rare to see Izaki that smart guy with foul mouth being so down so i actually felt how grave his feelings were.

"Don't worry Izaki its not your fault...y-you were brave and acted for the guy who just died. We should be ashamed of ourselves l-looking at your bravery."

"you are weird one you know people like you are always the one who dies in situations like this but i admire you...you are being truth to yourself being yourself and me Haruno Izaki is always full of lies."

Shikome Shizune frowned listening our conversation but didn't say any words up until now taking care of Hoshizora Miyabi whose panick attack calmed now.

"S-say Izaki what if the question goes like how we were transferred to this place...we might get to know what place is this and the meaning of our deaths... Its like 2 questions at one shot...i-if we are lucky we can get these vital information."

Shikome Shizune and Haruno Izaki they maybe were top two at class in academics but they were unable to think anything like that until now. Specially they discussed those three questions they came up with before, but they found a better one.

"Y-yes I agree with Ryuuchi even though the question seems so bland its actually one hell of powerful one to dig up information."

"I knew you were weird one but ha-ha thanks you aren't a toad head after all ha-ha-"

Haruno Izaki smiles and gets up. He regained his hope.

"We go with this question Creature - N explain us...how we transferred to this place."

"hehe~" The creature N chuckles and smirks then starts explaining. "As you have read on the monitor before. You all were dead in the real world and this world is created by me, I just had to sacrifice you all to just revive you all....hmmm~ ik its hard for you all to understand so i am using simple words so it gets easily to your small brains. You all were hypnotized to kill yourself so it was easier to transfer your souls in this world more like my box and this world follows my laws which i created.... like you all can't get out of the main school gate." and when you die here you actually have lost your souls so there won't be anny way to revive you. So this is the box (world) of mine with some dolls (you humans) tehee~"

[FASCINATING, GODDESS AH, I AM GRATEFUL FOR CREATING THIS WORLD FOR US CHOSEN ONES]

Rei Hanami started praying her after hearing the beings and probably made her actually believe that being itself is a God.

"Huh what is she saying I know its occultic... but it's just even an occultic theories lover won't play with whatever the hell is going on right now...she just probably lost her mind and gone insane". Shikome looks creeped.

[S-Sit down Rei you might get killed too.] The person next to Rei stops her immediately.

That bitch Rei who ignored me when I tried to hand her mechanical pencil. There is no way someone hotly like her gone insane I can't believe it.

"Feel free to call me god or anything as I don't have any specific name.... anyways you guys should enjoy your free time and Lunch is from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and in mean time you are free to do so again... needless to say the timetable and information is already given on~ {monitor}.

<12:15 PM>

She leaves the classroom. I don't even know how she acts so normal and somehow i could see the dead body with half of his head detached and blood drenching just making me want to puke.

We all ran outside of the classroom to the corridor as we didn't want to stay near the corpse.

"Oi Ryuuta Yanagi why are you going back to second floor lets go to library for now."

"S-sorry Izaki I forgot my phone he-he I will just come back...also call me Ryuuta".

"Huh aren't you scared oh my god I am sure no one even wants to go back there you should take Shikome with you she probably will do fine".

"Hey, it's not time to joke with Ryuuchi even I am scared looking at that corpse Miyabi."

I turned around and started running away by the stairs.

"I will be back w-wait for me in the library".

"Well, he really can speak normally...I feel bad for ignoring him now... come to think of it why did we even started ignoring him". Miyabi implies.

I peeked in the classroom if anyone was there before me and started slowly walking near the corpse. I am scared yet this might come to help me in future. I went to him checked the corpse's pockets I closed one of my eyes and started inspecting and got his phone I quickly used his fingerprint holding his hand and I shivered never thought a corpse would be this cold. I started breathing heavily looking at the corpse that made me feel uneasy.

After going through his phone, it was useless in this world same as mine and its more useless without his fingerprint, but I wonder if this phone will receive any messages. I put it in my pocket and head towards library.

<Library>

I entered and saw Shikome sitting in corner elegantly with her silver hair. Just looking at her calmed me for some reason. She doesn't stand out even though she has 2nd ranking on academics. I walked towards her, and she cheerfully greeted me.

"Yo! Ryuuchi you brave boy. I thought you fainted Izaki almost went to check up on you".

"No but yes I got my p-phone. (shit I hate lying) .... Oh by the way I can't see Miyabi and him?".

"Well, something urgent came up so they will join us during lunch time no worries".

Hm there are only two of us currently in the library. Others are probably at washroom or different classes.

"Say Ryuuchi what do you think where the being went to after she left the classroom."

"......."

"Also, the cafeteria was locked so I guess it will open at <1:00PM> sharp, I wonder who going to cook or are we all going to die here without ingredients and anything."

Miyabi and Izaki enters the library though I thought they will take some time as Shikome predicted.

"Damn you weren't scared after all huh you are manlier than us, I didn't expect."

"I-Izaki..."

"Look who is saying when he stood up for the guy". Miyabi frowns by her own word recalling the horrifying sight she experienced.

"Anyways do you know when i tried throwing a rock outside of the school gate or over the wall, there is an invisible barrier more like this is the only world limit-"

Miyabi and Izaki used that time to dig some knowledge about this world...that's impressive...unlike me who stole from a corpse for no reason.

"-and also, the water is endless here and I tried breaking the storeroom door and got inside but the moment I tried to get outside the door was fixed by itself and locked me...".

"Hehe and there me who had to break the door for him teehee".

"M-Miyabi don't tell me you are actually strong?" my jaw dropped because no one can even tell that a girl who looks so weak could even break the storeroom door knowing its steel hard.

"Sigh- you both couples get a room already".

"WE ARE NOT SHIKODUMBO!!"

"ha-ha you both at sync "

I also started laughing with them...how many years it has been since I have talked with friends like this... come to think of it my mind used to curse these people but now that I am able to socialize, I am not having any bad thoughts...have my heart gotten softer...I wish this precious moment just keeps going on. Huh precious? people are dying, and I am calling it precious...I am the real scumbag of all haha-

Time passed on as we chatted our way like nothing happened in classes forgetting our stress for the moment and it was time for meal, so we headed to cafeteria. there was food ready for us all and surprisingly it was a bento packed as we get in convenience store in Japan it was surprisingly good, and our stomachache was filled.

<4:12 PM | Art club>

We took this room for our stay. It was the art club room with a sofa, enough space for 3 people to sleep on floor there were two cupboard, with table in the middle. Izaki brought 2 chairs from a classroom. Art frames where hanging on walls. Colours were splattered at right side of the wall from the entrance door and floor was covered with mattress. It was cozy and relaxing place. Seems like it was Miyabi's idea to get this room because it was convenient. It was on ground floor and 4 - 5 classrooms away from washrooms.

"Miyachi really did steal a nice place but yeah two guys and two girls fufufu~"

"Oof Shikome stop giving them weird ideas."

"Can you all goofballs stop blabbering its bleeding my ears."

"I-I have someth- 

I was thinking of telling them something which came on my mind, but it was cut by the vibrations and ringtone of ours phones.

{BUZZ-BUZZ-BUZZ} the phones vibrated, and I already muted our past classmate's phone. But nice at least his phone is working. I took my own phone out and started reading the text. As well as others and the room filled with tense vibe.

Location of game where it will hold is <Class C - 1>

game will start at <5:15 PM> get inside the class before <5:00 PM> or players will face game over. The game will end at <8:00 PM> and if anyone of the player doesn't wins within the time limit then both of them will be killed by default.

I gulped.

"Hey izzachi, Miyacchi and Ryuuchi promise me we all will be back together at this place".

we just nod but for some reason Miyachi looks pale and Izaki moved out of the club room in hurry. Shikome was sweating yet she was giving a smile. As for me my legs were shivering in this life and death situation yet somehow I was feeling excitement out of fear with my eyes becomes teary.

"Mom, dad I am coming back alive so wait for me." I recalled my family to calm myself.

"h-hey Miyacchi where are you running off to-"

"did something happened to them? t-they both looked tensed."

"who knows... anyways look its already <4:48 PM>. My class is at 4th floor. Best of luck Ryuuchi"

"s-same goes for you. C-come back alive".

Shizume locked the clubroom, and we got outside. We waved each other and head to our designated classroom.

I checked my phone again and saw <total participants :44> but one of us died already...I have a bad feeling about it...feels like creature - N will be someone's opponent today...

"h-haha unlucky whoever it is to play with the creature." I mumbled to myself. 

I ignored it for now and focused on my own game which was going to be held.

<Class C -1> <4:51 PM>  

So here it is huh...the door is open...the other side of the door my opponent is waiting and one of us going to end up dead. I gulped my mind goes blank. I promised them we will see each other in classroom. And without wasting time I entered the classroom taking a deep sigh.

The door automatically shutdowns I tried to open the door, but it's totally locked. It's just the usual classroom with many desks and the white board. But I saw Rei Hanami made a place for us with two chairs where we will be sitting to play.

<5:00 PM>

{ting tang tong ting - Helllllow its cute sensei hereee~ I am sure everyone in their classes can hear this. So yeah, match starts now and will end at <time please add it> so make sure to complete it before that and if one player is murdered than the murderer will be disposed in the spot so yeah stay aware of every steps you make hehe~. I am watching you all through surveillance camera. Though every room is bind by laws just don't think hard how its working but if a player wins, he / she will be survived and if caught cheating which is killing you will be disposed immediately as I have repeated feel free to use any equipment in the class while you play by the way! and yes, do when rounds held the law will bind and will judge your game automatically so it's not judged by me I will be just watching from here hehehe sooooooo the funnnnn beginssss!! bzzzt-}

"Oh god really did answer my call my boring life end now."

What is she talking about I hate her, but I don't even know where to start the game anyway. Its literally a killing game and one of us will die.

"You were ignored by the god, so you are going to die today as the guy who died today morning. God saved him from despair."

"YOU ARE MUCH OF TALKING FOR BEING MR. INVISIBLE HUH."

It pains me to see a beautiful girl like her where she was popular with guys and even when she ignored me, I still got my heart race from her beauty enough.

"S-say if we draw all three rounds there is probability of both of us to survive."

yes, I am actually willing to take the risk...it wasn't mentioned in rules so I think it's the key to win plus it's the first game so it won't be that hard logically but if I am wrong draw might catch both of us to death....is what I thought but ......

*Huff huff* it's hard to breathe and I collapsed.

I am tied.... on the chair my hands are tied with the curtains. My right hand is warped with cello tapes, and I can see she used whole cello tape wrap to wrap my right hand to stone.

my stomach hurts looks like she kept kicking me.

[BUSHP - BASHP - DHUSB]

she kept kicking and blabbering...she got insane getting traumatized.

"Rei......s-stop I am awa..ke..."

"hahahahahahahahaahaha good now I can bring salvation upon you".
