Hagi's promise

SAYA POV

I woke up in a strange place.My hair were too long.Suddenly I saw a man.He had black hair and blue eyes.

After that I collapsed.Next thing I remember I was in a room.Then I saw him again.

"You are awake."

"Where am I?"

"It is a cottage.No one lives here."

"Who are you...who am I?" 

He seemed a little sad.

"I have all the answers about your past."

"You do?"

"Yes.You were sleeping for thirty years after your battle."

"Thirty years?How come you haven't aged?Are you a vampire?"

"Kind of.I am a chiropteran.Chiropterans are creatures who feed on blood.When they lose control they turn into bat creatures and kill.Forgive me for my manners.My name is Hagi.And your name is Saya."

"Sa...ya.So it's nice to meet you Hagi."

"The pleasure is all mine.You should rest now."

"Ok."

The next morning I cut my very long hair.Now their length reached at my back.Hagi seemed a little shocked.Hagi made breakfast and he started telling me things about my past.I am a chiropteran.

I was born by the queen of chiropterans,I also had a twin sister.We were used as an experiments.But I had a "normal" human life.A man named Joel raised me.

Meanwhile my sister was locked.One day I freed her and she killed him.I also gave her a name.Diva,because she was singing so beautiful.

When things got out of control wth chiropterans Hagi and I helped the red shield.But I got out of control when they gave me Hagi's blood.I killed many people in Vietnam war.

Also I was the one who turned Hagi into a chevalier,an other level of chiropterans after the queen.They could also turn into bat creatures too but they have control of their powers.

I was living a "human" life with George,my father and my brothers Riku and Kai.We also had a visitor today.

"You must be Saya.It is an honor to meet you.My name is Elena.I am the daughter of David and Julia."

Hagi mentioned that David was a member of Red shield and Julia was a doctor.She showed me some pictures of herself and parents.She takes after her father.

Elena as a doctor adivced me that I should go for a walk.It really feels strange being awaken after thirty years.

One week has passed since I woke up.Hagi was telling me stories from thirty years ago.He told me about the Schiff,Mao and that reporter Okumura,Solomon,Riku's death,Diva's pregnancy and her twin babies.

"Hagi,do you think it is a good idea to..."

"If this is what you want,do it."

I visited Kai today.A saw a man.He was at his fifties.He recognised me.Yes,it was my brother Kai.I apologised for not being able to recognise him.

Kai understood it and he said that I had also amnesia when I woke up after the Vietnam war.I also saw pictures of our dad,Riku.I also saw pictures of the twins.

Suddenly two girls came.

"Dad we are home."

They were my nieces.

"So I am Saya and it is nice too meet you."

"Hello aunt Saya.I am Hibiki Otonashi."

"And I am Kanade Otonashi."

Hibiki...quite odd she has red brownish eyes like me.Hagi mentioned that Diva had blue eyes.So Kanede takes after Diva.I also met a friend of mr Lewis.His name is Jayden.He is a member of red shield just like Elena.

Jayden and his parents knew Lewis and they worked with him.

Now that I see them,Jayden is  three years older than Elena.Not to mention he likes teasing her.

HAGI POV

Saya was so calm and peaceful.It made me happy.She haven't recovered her memories yet.She said she also met the twins.

She seemed suprised that Hibiki looked like her.

"Hagi,how did we met?"

"The first time it was at zoo.I was sold by my parents."

"Oh I see...What kind of person I was back then?"

"Selfish and arogant."

"I am sorry."

I took her hand.

"Well I wasn't very polite either.So I was arogant too."

She smiled.

"Then we saw each other thirty years after the Vietnam war in Okinawa.One day you were walking on the street and I was playing the cello.Then we met each other at your school the same day."

"Hagi,can you play for me,please?"

"Of course."

I was playing the cello.Saya seemed that she enjoyed it.After a while she fell asleep on the coach.I carried her to her bed and I stroke her cheek.

SAYA POV

That's odd I don't remember going to my bedroom.Hagi carried me?Was he the one who stoke my cheek?I couldn't find him anywhere.I went to visit Kai.The twins were there.Kanede and Hibiki knew everything because Kai told them.I also saw them training.

They really are good.Cain visited us.He said that there was an attack by a chiropteran.Hagi was examined by Elena.So I rushed to see him.

Without thinking I just embraced him.

"I know you can heal your wound but please take care of yourself.Why didn't you tell me anything?"

"Saya,you must go on living."

"I can't do that!I don't know how!I don't remember anything and you get hurt.How am I supposed to live?You idiot!"

I just left.I was frustrated.Elena realised it.

"Hagi cares about you.That's why he did it."

"But I don't want him to get hurt."

"I see...Hagi is someone important to you."

What is Hagi to me?Meanwhile Hibiki invited me for dinner at Omuro.I also met a classmate of Hibiki and Kanade.His name is Souji.

He really is a good kid.Still I was thinking about Hagi...I went back to that house.I started seeing nightmares.I couldn't fall asleep.Hagi was there.He conforted me.It was so warm in his arms.

HAGI POV

I embraced  Saya until she fell alseep.Meanwhile there was an increasment of chiropterans.Things were quite bad.Saya also wanted me to show my wounds.I was injured at my chest.So I showed her that it was already been healed.

She put her hand to that spot.Meanwhile she looked at me in the eyes.Both of us made a step back.The pain I was feeling...it feltlike someone pierces my heart with a stake.

SAYA POV

I heard that Kanede had a fight with Hibiki.Hibiki didn't want Kanede to go to the zoo.I don't think I was ever good with kids.So I talked to Hibiki and she undestood.Suddenly I felt something pierced my stomach.

I collapsed.I woke up in the hospital.Elena examined me.I was attacked by a chiropteran.Hagi gave me his blood to recover.

Wait did he gave me blood by kissing me?This is so embarassing!!Jayden told me that Hibiki and Kanede were kindapped by a former  researcher Cedric.

I told to Hagi that I would fight too.Hagi accepted my decision.Hagi,Jayden,Kai and I found the place of Cendric.

The good news were that the twins were sleeping.So we passed through the security.Both Hagi and I realised the twins and carried them.

Both Hibiki and Kanede woke up.Kai also brought them their weapons.We faced chiropterans.I did what Hagi said.I used my blood which went to my sword and killed the chiropterans.

The same thing Kanede and Hibiki did.Kai and Jayden had some bulltets which could cause damage to chiropterans.

Cedric appeared.I told them that I would fight him.Hagi holded my hand.

"Let's fight him together."

"Alright."

Hagi unwrapped his han.He was using his physical strength.Meanwhile I tried to strike Cedric.Until Centric stabbed Hagi.He was no more human.He was a chiropteran.I was stabbed at my spine to protect Hagi from being hurt again.

Then I cut his arm.

"This is because you hurt Hagi."

I striked him again.

"And this is because you and your allies hurt my nieces and Jayden and Kai."

Then I saw Hagi flying.He stiked his stomach.I used my sword and I killed him.Then I collapsed.

HAGI POV

Saya protected me.I am her chevalier and I am the one who must protect her.Elena said that her wounds were covering quickly.

SAYA POV

Suddenly I started remembering everything.Then I remembered Hagi saying he would wait for me,watch over me forever.Therefore I remembered when he said "I love you".That was the last time I saw him before falling into slumber.

I woke up.Hagi was watching over me.He just embraced me.I recovered quickly.Kanede and Hibiki apologized and made up.Hibiki accepted Kanede's choice to go to the zoo and learn more things about our past.

Hibiki said she would work for the red shield.I also met the new Joel.He takes after the previous Joel I remember.

I told everyone that I remembered my past.I

"I am going on a journey.But I will come back."

I told them goodbye.I went to see Hagi.

"Hagi,I remember everything.I know what I should do.I want to travel around the world,with you."

Hagi seemed suprised.

"On the other hand I am going to help the red shield at the same time.Do you..."

Hagi just wrapped me in his arms.

"You don't need to ask me.I will follow you everywhere."

"Hagi,do you want to go somewhere specific?"

"How about Spain?Do you like it,Saya?"

"Yes.I do."

HAGI POV

Both Saya and I went to Spain for holiday.I finally saw her smiling again.She also caught me smiling back at her.

Today I told her everything I felt.

"Saya,I never regreted for being your chevalier.I don't reget about my past because  met you.I see longlivety as gift because it allows me to be with you."

"Hagi...I owe you so much."

"You don't owe me anything.Also I need to say I am sorry for hurting you.I am in love with you Saya.I always was and I am always going to be in love with you."

Saya was suprised and she started crying.

"I promise to be always by your side both in sorrow and happiness.I promise to protect you and watch over you forever.Saya,please say that you will be mine,forever."

Even though she was crying she smiled.

"Yes...with all my heart."

I wiped her tears and embraced her.She looked at me with these tender eyes and we kissed.

SAYA POV

One week has passed.Hagi and I were enjoying our holidays in Spain.It made me happy that I could see him smiling more often.Hagi gave me a pink rose.

"It is beautiful.Thank you."

He smiled at me.

"Oh you have a little strawberry jam?"

"Where?"

He kissed me!

"Just kidding." and he smiled

"You can be so mean...but actualy I like it."

Now it was Hagi who was embaressed.We went for a walk to Madrid.It was so beautiful.Then we went back to our house.Hagi made dinner.It was the anniversary when we fist met at zoo.

"Hagi please can you play the cello?"

He kissed my hand.

"If this is what you wish."

Hagi's always playing the clelo so well.And he is voice was also a sweet melody.We went to the see the view from balcony.

The moon was full tonight.

"Happy anniversary Hagi."

He touched my cheek.

"Happy anniversary,Saya,"

Our noses touched and we kissed.

I want to travel the world and experience new things with Hagi.Right now I am to the most warm,safe and tender place in the world.I am inside in the arms of the man I fell in love with,Hagi.Hagi is my love,he is my family.

 I need to buy presents for the others when we are going to visit them again.

This how my new awoken life started.
