Chapter 7: Ruiner of light

Once the tank was gone the abyssal switched focus onto me as our common enemy was no more, I was able to maneuver back to and properly secure the foothold on the outskirts of the castle, far enough away so that the abyssals wont be a problem, I'm heading home now that my missions done. The only problem would be that there's the unknown factions ship on the Castle grounds, they must have some idea of where Onyx is considering how they only left a tank behind to guard their exit. " Caelus, search the crashed ship and see if they know where Onyx is, I’ll just quickly make sure it’s okay with Commander Winter,” Cass says over the comms. Since I was already there Winter had given the green light to proceed with the operation, as long as I got out after finding Onyx’s location. The ship belonged to an alien race in on-clad armor, according to Commander Clover their known as conquers who bring down anyone who stands in their way and pillage worlds of their resources, they are known as the Ventho, the one thing that sets them apart from the abyssals is that they don't kill the inhabitants of the planets they invade, instead they become enslaved to work for them. Getting into the ship wasn’t hard, none of their troops had been focused on defending the ship. I tried to search the ships computer for information but it was all in a strange alien language I obviously couldn’t read. I was however able to make my way back into the castle and found a large doorway that led back into a different part of the castle halls, following the sound of rifles being shot I was able to navigate through the corridors, they probably found a way to Onyx and the leader was already making its way their now. I have to find them and follow them to Onyx. The path ahead was blocked with more abyssal, this time they were Ventho, by the time I reach the team their leader had also been corrupted, seems they found Onyx, and lost. It also seems Onyx had grown in power from the last time he was seen during the siege on the kingdom, The First King was capable of spreading his malice-like power into other races kinda like a virus, much like mind control, except it forces them into a new horrific shape if they weren’t strong enough to withstand it, destroying their mind and forcing their will to the side of the Abyssals, making them hollow puppets, essentially turning them into what the creatures of the abyss are…oh that's not good, that and how the only way forward was through a gate one which I'm unable to enter, which was weird as I had just watched the Abyssal Ventho leader walk right through with no problem, but as soon as I try I’m forced back by some kind of force surrounding the door, I’ll have to contact Eren to see if she knows something. The gate reopens as something beings to show. Onyxs growth in power must’ve been immense, because from the doorway emerged a shadow of Onyx, its appearance mimics him, whether it mimicked his strength I’ll have to figure out. I’ll have to deal with him to move forward, shouldn’t be too hard, right?
