Izusaki's hug felt like the warmth of summer itself.

Outside of the memorabilia, YuYu ran away towards the entrance as I would later learn it can become lifeless again outside of its own world for the amount of time it had taken a soul.

Watching as The Candy Room returned back to normal, I was still devastated by the fact that Lilac was gone. The only thing I could have been relieved to know was that we were now a bit safe from the clutches of that doll.

“Ryutane-kun, do you think we will ever escape this place?” she asked me.

Thinking deeply about what she said, I knew only one thing for sure.

“If our love got us through this, there is nothing that can stop what we can do.”

Izusaki smiled as we both stood holding hands together before finally stepping up the stairs and walking past the entrance of unknown darkness with a glimmer of the evening sun in both of our hearts.
