Chapter XIII : The Ambush on the Treehouse

Location : Treehouse [28/09/2067]

“Someones coming for us, That's For Sure.” Forthwind said to the others. “Oh For God sakes Forthwind, when you come in for a visit some shit will always happen” Gerak replied. Gerak, Josh, Leon, and Forthwind would all be standing around a Table looking at the Destroyed Drone they Found Earlier. “Maybe it's one of those SoE scout Drones” Josh said. Gerak quickly replied “They Don’t Have Scout Drones you idiot, And if they did why would they spy on some random Survivors”.

As they Argue, Leon would Notice a flickering red light, in a small peep hole on the side of the drone. “Guys…. You see that?” Leon says. Gerak picks up the Drone and inspects the flickering light, In the Peep hole he sees a Timer going off in exactly 5 seconds. “BOMB!” Gerak Screamed dropping the drone and immediately running. Josh would see the Drone and would take cover, And Forthwind would quickly tackle Leon to the ground before the bomb explodes. The Furniture inside the house quickly destroyed, And Wood from the treehouse walls flew off. Forthwind covers Leon with his armor, and Josh barely survives, getting hit with a table. Whilst Gerak, is at the Treehouse exit barely escaping the blast, holding on to dear life with a tree branch. The Explosion would alert nearby aliens to they’re location.


They all took a breath from the situation that just occured. Forthwind would get off Leon. “You ok kid?” Forthwind said, “Yea.” Leon replied. Josh would be on the ground, breathing heavily “Fuck me, I think I broke a rib bone” Josh exclaimed. “Sorry but that's the least of our problems. We better run quickly.” Gerak said before grabbing his Sniper rifle. “Why what's wrong? ” Josh said. “We have hordes of aliens coming at us!”Gerak replied. “Are we not gonna talk about what just happened with the explosion?” Leon said. “That's the Least of our concerns!” Gerak said before lining up his sniper. Forthwind would stand up and see all the aliens coming they’re way. “Focus…” Forthwind calmly said before he jumped out of the window armored up.

Josh goes down the stairs, and pulls down a rope, the rope would open a trapdoor with an AR sixteen, ready to shoot. Josh would pull down a lever and the AR would start shooting at the oncoming hordes of aliens. The aliens would start breaking down and climbing they’re fence, Four Armed Aliens with Giant spiky tails. They would circle the Treehouse making the gang unable to escape. Forthwind would be standing on a tree branch cutting off the limbs of aliens trying to climb up the treehouse, One Alien would tackle him and start scratching his armor, Forthwind would kick the alien on the stomach and slice his head off clean. He would break the Tree branch and quickly jump off of it as it fell, landing on a few aliens.

Leon would run out with a revolver shooting a few aliens. “KID GET IN BEFORE YOU GET HURT” Forthwind screamed at Leon in a fatherly-like manner. Leon would be too stunned to speak… “GUYS WE MAY HAVE A BIGGER PROBLEM” Leon quickly exclaimed. As a shadowy figure starts walking towards them, A cloak covering some sort of red tiled armor piece, With a Futuristic metallic Bow in hand, The Shadowy figure would aim at Forthwind. Forthwind would look at him menacingly.

“I’ve already contacted the SoE, they’re gonna be arriving in a few minutes” Josh said before The Treehouse would inevitably collapse from all the aliens trying to climb it. The Cloaked man would shoot the bow, and hit Forthwind in the chest mid tree house collapse, The Arrow would pierce through his armor. Forthwind would take the hit, and as the treehouse starts to fall he would hold on to his wound on one arm and try to fend off the aliens with his sword on the other. Josh and Gerak would be at the highest point of the fallen treehouse, Leon would try to join Josh and Gerak, but would get tackled by one of the aliens at the last second. “Leon!” Forthwind screamed as Leon got taken by the Aliens. At this time a helicopter from the SoE would arrive to save them, But due to the dire circumstances it was a hard extraction. Forthwind would grab Leon's Hand and try to hold him as Leon’s legs get pulled by the alien below them. “There they are!” Josh said in excitement. But this excitement would shatter as he realized the Aliens below him are getting everlasting closer to them…..
