The creatures were made by creatures. They don't know what they are and how everything works, It's like they won and got powers and were given the idea how they can make new candidates with ritual process and everything. The sensei was former teacher who got transferred to this school and the man who became serial killer after he won his own game was having fun killing people in real world, were both normal human beings. Processing everything was hard for me which didn't make sense at all, but this situation looks some how familiar. All I could do was to stare at what they were speaking having wide eyes.
