Chapter 18 ' My Past '

I was gazing at the sea intently when I sensed something gazing back at me from inside the waters surface as soon as it realized that I had noticed it it disappeared under the depths of the water just then someone came outside from the entrance behind me so I created an orb of energy to eliminate the intruder instantly but it was Revenine

Revenine : master Zeres I just wanted to inform you that the dinner is done so you should come over to the main dining hall of the ship apparently it is on the 8th floor you should probably use the elevator

Zeres : understood Revenine I will be there thank you for the information

Revenine : no problem master Zeres see you there

With that Revenine leaves for the dining hall

I think to myself geez that girl could have warned me before just opening the door I almost erased her from existence , great thing that I noticed in time , after dispersing the ball of energy I had created I head to the dining hall I find everyone sitting along an extremely long table and one of the seats at the head of the table was left empty so I took it watching me intently Melzequin smirks

Melzequin : sitting at the head of the table as always Zeres chronofix it kind of suits you at this point

Zeres : is that sarcasm or a genuine compliment?

Melzequin : a genuine compliment apparently your win against me wasn't a fluke I heard about your battle with Polaristh aldega seems you are actually extremely powerful so I am just acknowledging your abilities

Zeres : then sure thanks Milzequin I appreciate it

Ephilis : Zeres it appears that we will be crossing the the timeless reefs at about midnight tonight I suggest that we all stay awake because it may effect our subconscious if we are asleep while crossing that place

Zeres : timeless reefs sound interesting guess I will need to watch them so why don't we meet at the upper dock at midnight all of us , might be fun hehe

Everyone looks at me as if I said the craziest thing in the world then Melzequin starts laughing

Melzequin : honestly Zeres chronofix you want to observe the timeless reefs that make the greatest of sailers in the world mentally broken calling you weird won't suffice you are by far the most incomprehensible person I have ever met and I like it so I don't know about the others here but I will be glad to watch the timeless reefs with you at midnight it sounds like too way too much fun to pass up

Revenine : although these reefs are extremely dangerous if it is with you master Zeres then off course I shall be there at midnight

Polaristh : I already owe you a lot Zeres so without a doubt I shall be there at exactly midnight so we shall watch it together

Ephilis : I have always tried to contain my powers but meeting you showed me that I won't survive while holding back my power like I have before so now I shall follow you as well and face whatever comes my way emerging victorious

Chronolia : I lost to you sir Zeres you are the only person I have ever lost against so I shall also give it my all to follow you as well

Zeres : great let's meet at the upper dock at midnight see you guys then

With that I warp to my room I know that Polaristh said that magic and different types of energy get disrupted while traversing through The Sea of Origin but it appears that the disruptions do not effect me just like everything else in my life it's always been like this I just don't feel any pain or take any damage sometimes even I wonder just what is it that I am , drowning in my own questions without any answers time passed and it was already midnight so I decided to head to the upper dock when I arrived there everyone was already there other than Melzequin who arrived right after me

Zeres : for the one who said she would watch the timeless reefs with me first to arrive the last where did all your enthusiasm go Melzequin?

Melzequin : I might be late but I can prove that you are as bad as me Zeres chronofix

Melzequin : my reason for being late is that I overslept a little but that is besides the point Zeres chronofix I only woke even now because you woke up and loudly closed your door on your way here and that was probably 3-4minutes ago meaning that if I arrived here last then you the one who suggested this little reef watching adventure arrived second last then you and I are both in the same boat

Zeres : well that is actually true I guess my punctuality needs some work but still you said that you only woke up because I closed my door loudly meaning that if I hadn't closed the door loudly then you would most likely still be sleeping downstairs meaning although I may have some punctuality issues I am still quite superior to you miss sleepyhead hehe

Melzequin : okay I am sorry for being late are you satisfied now Zeres chronofix?

Zeres : yes I am quite satiated now

Polaristh : hey Zeres and Melzequin death if your argument is complete may we get to the reef watching we are almost there

Zeres : off course

When we reach the timeless reefs 6 waterfalls emerge from the water and light begins to form in the center of all the water falls

Soon the first water fall shows the image of a little girl crying alone in a large room and two maids trying to console her

Little girl : why did big sister leave?

Maid 1 : princess Cresilian had to go it was her duty

Little girl : then why didn't she take me with her? Why did she leave me behind?

Maid 2 : because you are too weak right now young miss your sister only left you here to protect you

The scene stops at that

A new scene begins this time there are two girls in a place that looks like a court of law just more hellish one of the girls looks determined but has a really cold look in her eyes and the other just stands there without showing any emotion on her face and there is a demonic looking judge sitting on a throne

Determined girl : we will get results no matter what happens

Demonic judge : your units are failures and no one joined either of your units so I hereby disband both of your units , since you are both irregulars from now on just pair up on missions because no one else wants to be anywhere near either of you

Determined girl : you will rue this decision you have made today

Demonic judge : highly unlikely that will happen, I hereby officially sanction the expulsion of unit 066 and unit 086 of the Devil royal defense corps

The scene ends

The third scene begins this time two creatures are fighting with each other and it is a battle unlike anything even I have ever seen one of them glows in a shining light brighter than any and all stars out there in the infinite cosmos and the other has a dark aura surrounding it darker than any shade of black I had ever witnessed it looked like a never-ending ominous mass of darkness surrounded it then suddenly another creature appeared between them this one had a colorless aura but with a single look I could tell it was strong

First creature : who is it that interrupts our holy duel identity yourself

Second creature : well whether you identify yourself or not your death is already set in stone for interrupting my hunt

Third creature : you both have upset the balance of the world's with this pointless battle of yours I am here to give you both your judgement

Both creatures attack the third creature with unbelievable amount of power but the third creature remains unscathed and in an instant with a single attack which is only an aura expansion in which it only expands the aura surrounding it and doesn't even move a millimeter it defeats both of them then begins to divide the creatures body into 4 parts each

The scene ends at that

It is now that I realize the girls are all in pain and having a terrible headache while looking at the scenes , watching them I realize the scenes were from their past and the timeless reefs are using their own energy to show these scenes when I realize this instantly a red glow surrounds the area and the waterfalls collapse from a overwhelming force of gravity making all the energy drain to stop and the girls pain to end

Revenine, Ephilis, Chronolia, Polaristh and Melzequin : thanks for saving us Zeres

They seem to be a little tired but fine now that the pain has ended but just when I am about to finally relax a little , a new waterfall emerges from the water behind me this time it is much larger than even the last six waterfalls combined and once again light begins forming at its center

Then a new scene appears this one is much clearer than the last ones it has a man wearing a white mask in a black military uniform wielding crimson blade and standing on the wreckage of an almost completely destroyed city with disfigured corpses lying all around him

After looking at the scene before them the others look back at me and I say

Zeres : yes that is
