Chess at the beach [Season 4 intro]

Mimoko let out a heavy sigh as Iori began recording. "Why are you streaming this?" she asked with a slight tinge of anger in her voice.

"Um, for content?" Iori bluntly replied.

Following the incident with Michiko, Daria had decided to gift the chess club a trip to Okinawa. As such, everyone was relaxing on the beach in swimwear. Though most notable about the swimwear was that Mimoko was sporting a bikini with suspenders, earning her the tease from some of her friends.

"I'm surprised suspender bikinis exist. You really do like suspenders, Inoue-senpai," Okisato nodded.

"Don't you dare gaze upon Mimoko-sama with such lustful eyes, pervert," Utami growled.

"Utami-chan, while you're at it, please slap him," Mimoko glared as Utami did just that.

Yuusuke nervously watched from a distance, and decided it was best to try hitting on girls elsewhere. The others were either lounging at the shore or swimming in the sea. All in all it was a relaxing experience, until Okisato decided to get some shaved ice and bumped into someone.

"Sorry. ...!"

As the woman turned, Okisato recognized her immediately. It was Svetlana Smirnova, a member of the Desperado league. Svetlana's face began to contort in rage as she pulled her sledgehammer seemingly out of her bikini and began chasing Okisato around. While he could tank the hits thanks to Caïssa's blessing and didn't mind challenging Svetlana in chess, Svetlana always made rash judgment decisions whenever he was in the picture.

As he was running away, he accidently tripping over a group of five college girls that were lounging on the beach and falling on top of them.

"KYAAAH! Like, stop groping me!" a girl with a turquoise afro cried as Okisato quickly got up.

"It was an accident. As you can see, I'm being chased by a sledgehammer-"

"What sledgehammer?" Svetlana growled as she nonchalantly discarded her weapon and pulled out her phone to take a picture.

The commotion quickly caused everyone to gather round as Okisato tried to apologize the college girls.

"Like, no way! We're not forgiving him! He intentionally ran into us and tried to grope me. Arrest his ass," the turquoise-haired girl glared.

"Ya know, I think I got everything on film, so why don't we see who's more believable," Iori grinned as she winked at Okisato.

However, Svetlana immediately stepped in. "How about something more concrete. Each of you chooses a representative to play each other in a game of chess, and the losing team gets arrested."

"Arrested for what?"

"Streaking of course, since all members of the losing team shall have all their clothes ripped to shreds," Svetlana stated as she whipped out her DESPER.

"Seems like you realized my innocence would be proven along with your guilt. Very well, I'll play," Okisato nodded.

The college girls huddled up before nodding and sending forth a bespectacled girl with tan skin and gold and red hair.

"This here is Jackie Egghead. She's known as the nerd queen," a red haired girl smirked.

"'Nerd queen'?"

"Yes, the nerd queen of Stanford to be precise," Jackie stated as she adjusted her glasses.

"Wait, Stanford as in-"

"The elite college? Yes, we're all from Stanford and super smart. Oh, and Svetlana, we can make it so just this guy dies, right?"

"Yes, along with Mimoko Inoue and Iori Ishikiridokoro. The rest will just get stripped and arrested," Svetlana stated.

"I don't agree to that," Mimoko glared as Svetlana began to grit her teeth in frustration. Thanks to Mimoko being higher-rated than her, she could refuse the wager.

"Then how about no death penalty, and just stripping for the losing team?" Svetlana growled as she began clutching her DESPER tighter.

Mimoko agreed to the proposal and Svetlana activated her DESPER, causing a small chessboard to appear. Once everyone was seated, Okisato moved his pawn to e4 as Jackie moved her pawn to e6.

He then followed up by moving his pawn to e5, eliciting a groan from Mimoko. "That idiot, I don't want to go nude!" she angrily thought as Jackie moved her pawn to g5.

"And just what do you hope to accomplish?" Jackie asked as Okisato moved his knight to c3.

"Just standard development," Okisato shrugged as Jackie moved her knight to h6.

He then moved his queen to h5, eliciting a chuckle from Jackie as she moved her king to e7. "That won't work. You're playing against an intellectual woman."

"Really?" Okisato asked as he moved his knight to e4.

Jackie scowled in frustration as she slammed her pawn down on f5. "Yes! I am Stanford's nerd queen. Sadly you and your immature friends will be getting arrested for streaking-"

"HAHAHAHA!"

Jackie went silent as Okisato burst into maniacal laughter. "Oi, it's a bit early to go insane-"

"Why? You lose! EN PASSANT!"

Jackie's eyes widened in horror as Okisato not only performed en passant and captured the pawn at f5 with his e-pawn but also checkmated her.

"Oh look at that, an en passant checkmate. So how rare are those Miss nerd queen?" Okisato snickered.

Before Jackie could issue a response, her swimsuit immediately ripped to shreds along with her friends' swimsuits, leaving all of them stark naked. The group screamed in embarrassment and ran off.

"You got lucky," Svetlana snarled as she grabbed her DESPER.

"Aren't you forgetting something?" Okisato snickered.

"What?"

"Those girls seemed to know you, so couldn't it technically be interpreted that you are part of their group?"

Rip!

Svetlana's face went red with embarrassment as her swimsuit suddenly ripped to shreds. She let out an embarrassed scream and covered herself up before running off. "Вы заплатите за это! [You'll pay for this]!" she shouted as she ran away in shame.

"And I got everything. This video's gonna do gangbusters!" Iori snickered as she stopped recording.

Mimoko let out a sigh. "Let's try to enjoy the beach without any more incidents, please."
