Exams

A sweeping view of a grand stadium, filled with eager spectators. The air is electric with excitement as people from all walks of life have gathered to witness the beginning of the Soul Knight exams. Inside the bustling entrance of the stadium, Jade and Omaru make their way through the crowd. Jade, lost in thought and distracted by the sheer grandeur of the event, doesn't notice the person in front of him until it's too late. He collides with a stunning woman with long white hair and striking red eyes that gleam like rubies. She has a voluptuous figure, and Jade finds himself pressed against her chest. "Oh myyy, what a cutie you are." The lady says. "Watch where you're go—so soft..." Jade's voice trails off as he realizes what just happened. His face turns crimson with embarrassment. "Ok, Jade, get yourself together. We are sorry, ma'am. We should get going now." Omaru says. The woman smiles, amused by their flustered state, and waves them off with a playful wink. Jade and Omaru quickly continue on their way, still flustered by the encounter.

The boys arrive at the designated area where the exams will take place. The grounds are abuzz with activity as aspiring Soul Knights prepare for the upcoming trials. Jade and Omaru take in the scene, their determination renewed. "Alright, this is it. Time to show what we're made of." Omaru says with a determined grin on his face. "Yeah, let's do this." Jade says clenching his fist. Suddenly, a hush falls over the crowd as a figure steps onto the main platform. A voice from the crowd breaks the silence, "It's her! It's Squad Captain Scarlet of the Recruitment Department!" Scarlet, the same woman Jade had run into earlier, stands on the platform with an air of authority and grace. Her long white hair glistens in the sunlight, and her red eyes scan the crowd with a mixture of warmth and intensity. She wears a form-fitting outfit that reveals just enough to be provocative while still exuding power. 

Jade and Omaru's jaws drop in unison. "Not her!!" Jade whispers in disbelief, feeling the heat rise to his cheeks. Scarlet glances over at Jade and giggles softly, her eyes twinkling with amusement. The moment passes quickly, and she addresses the crowd with a commanding presence. "Welcome, aspiring Soul Knights, to the first round of the exams!" Scarlet's voice rings out. "You have all come here to prove your worth, to show that you have what it takes to protect our lands and uphold the honor of the Soul Knights. Today, you will be tested like never before. Only the strongest, the bravest, and the most determined will succeed." She pauses, letting her words sink in, before continuing, "I am Scarlet, Captain of the Recruitment Department, and I will be overseeing your trials. The crowd erupts into applause and cheers, the energy in the stadium reaching new heights. Jade and Omaru exchange a glance, their earlier embarrassment forgotten in the face of the daunting task before them. Suddenly, a voice cuts through the noise, dripping with arrogance. "Whatever, just get on with it already. I am Seraph Lucian, and I should be able to pass by my presence alone."  The participants attention shifts to a young man standing with an air of self-importance. 

"Whoa, that's Seraph Lucian," One of the participants says. "A noble of the Lucian family." Jade looks over at Seraph, a flicker of anger in his eyes. The noble's arrogance and lack of respect for the exam and its participants strike a nerve. Omaru notices Jade's expression and places a hand on his shoulder. "Don't let him get to you," Omaru says quietly. "We'll show everyone what we're capable of." Scarlet, unfazed by the interruption, continues, "If you are here, you must have some grasp on Soul Manifestation. The first exam is for you to all showcase your abilities. Step forward when your name is called and demonstrate what you can do." The atmosphere grows tense as the participants prepare to reveal their abilities. Jade and Omaru stand ready, their determination unwavering. One by one, the names are called, and the participants step forward to showcase their Soul Manifestations. The crowd watches intently, murmurs of admiration and awe filling the stadium as various powers are displayed. When it's finally Jade's turn, he steps forward, He takes a deep breath, focusing on the energy within him. With a swift motion, he summons ice crystals, which form intricate patterns in the air before shooting towards a target with precision. Destroying the target completely. "Impressive control and power," Scarlet remarks. Next, Omaru is called. He steps forward With a powerful gesture, he conjures a stream of fire from his palm, the flames burn away the target. "Excellent display of raw power," Scarlet says.
