Doomsday. (Part 4)

(With mysterious voices crowding the ears of Bai, he attempted to move but was tied down onto a chair and with the removal of his blindfold, he was shined under energy sufficient lights as three unknown origins crowded him while examining his naked body.)

"???: Is this the kid?"
"???: Doubt it, he's too scarred from the neck down all the way to his legs. Its amazing how someone at such a young age can even withstand such damage.."
"???: Tch, big whoop!"
"???: Stop examining his body! That's Bai Zhen."

(As Bai finally then comes to, he was able to make out a former classmate of his, Reinhard along with three of his Mercenary allies.)

"Bai: ..H-Huh..?! R-Reinhard..?"
"Reinhard Lockhart (German Minor Mercenary | Power: Armor Blessing, War Curse): Hello Zhen, it's been a while."
"Bai: Where am I..? And why exactly am I tied down... and naked?"
"Reinhard: Excuse my friends, they've wanted to examine your body, which I considered wrong... Anyway, you're in a hidden bunker within the depths of China. As we speak, you're actually ten meters underground of Shanghai, no one can sense us down here."
"Bai: ...I see.. And why am I tied up..?"
"Reinhard: I couldn't have you attacking us without an explanation if things were to escalate, so this was for our own protection."

(Bai was then freed from his restraints as he was given a fresh pair of clothes.)

"Bai: I now understand.. But why exactly did you take me here?"
"Reinhard: Simple my dear friend, you're being trained incorrectly. We may be young as well, but we've mastered our powers beyond what the previous users could go. Let me introduce you to my friends and allies, Koshima, Yamase and Shiwagi."

(With Bai then being made at home in the hidden underground bunker, he was then approached by Koshima, a strategic woman with a powerful aura just by her very knowledge radiating from her brain.)

"Koshima Kado (Minor Mercenary | Power: Intelligence Blessing): Welcome aboard, Zhen! We're grateful to actually find you sooner than later. As you know, I am Koshima Kado, you may call me Koshima however. The other two are Yamase Okoji and Shiwagi Nisbet. Yamase's more of the introverted ones but she's a good person when you get to know her closely. And Nisbet's one of the muscle-headed freaks of our group. But I'm positive that you two would get along well, so if there's any questions, don't hesitate to ask!"
"Bai: Thank you!"
"Reinhard: Zhen, could you come with me for a moment?"

(As the two then ventured further down the bunker, Bai was then able to hear growling coming from the very ends of the hall as he then witnessed a Category S Ghoul, chained and tied down in the bunker, surprising Bai for a moment into realizing the very ghoul was starved and angry.)

"Bai: W-What the hell?!"
"Reinhard: I've had some friends in Japan do some research on Ghouls. The results came back stating: "If the stronger Ghoul kills and eats it own weaker kind, it'll become stronger." Zhen, I'm aware of the Ghoul side of you. That's why we need to help you awaken it, use it with the very blessings you carry within your soul!"
"Bai: But that's crazy...!! That would mean I'd-"
"Reinhard: -Have to sacrifice your humanity, it's a very heavy price to pay, that I understand. But you cannot hide away from the fact Ghouls are going to continue procreating and spreading. We must become strong enough to eradicate as many as we can, to maintain peace and order to our own home planet."
"Bai: ...But I... (Thinking): ...Ghouls become stronger by eating lesser Ghouls..? This is insane... I can't sacrifice my humanity, but... If I don't become stronger, we'll all die."

(A powerful explosion erupts on the surface, trembling the bunker beneath as alarms were blaring, angering the very Ghoul further into ripping off its restraining chains as it was nearly freed. Bai and Reinhard were then immediately startled at the uprising.)

"Reinhard: The hell is happening up there?!"
"Koshima: Reinhard!! It's the 15 Ghouls!"
"Reinhard: WHAT?!"

(With Bai lost in thought on what he should do, the chained Ghoul then frees itself from his restraints, howling and running towards Reinhard with it's blood crafted weapon in its hands. Before reaching the very head of Reinhard, powerful tendrils blasts through the Ghoul as Bai's left arm was completely Ghoul-like, surprising even Koshima seeing it in person.)

"Bai: I've decided... If it's to become stronger, then I must eat the weak."

(With a loud crunch of bones being crunched by teeth, Reinhard and Koshima then were in the presence of a new Bai Zhen as the two watched him eat the deceased Ghoul whole. Meanwhile on the surface, evacuation warnings were blaring as the Global Ascendency Front, the Mercenary Associations and Negan, were all in separate battles with planned executives.)

-Chinese Mercenary Association, Beijing Division-

"Association Director: What's all the commotion?!"
"Male Analysist #1: Emergencies sir, alarms are blaring left and right with Ghouls from Category S and above appearing simultaneously! All of our interregional lines are jammed, we can't call for immediate assistance!"
"Male Analysist #2: We can't keep up sir, there's too many Ghouls and most of the Mercenaries are battling them as we speak!"
"Female Analysist #1: Sir, we've recovered communication with Japan, Ghouls are attacking the main office in Tokyo!"
"Association Director: ...Heh.. You finally got your wish, didn't you Triple Ghoul... Damn you! Issue a mass alert to all Mercenaries with this very message: "Any trace of Ghouls, you kill without hesitation! We are at war!"
"All: ROGER!"

(With Mercenaries nearby and all across China receiving the message to kill Ghouls without hesitation, the Triple Ghoul was then watching back in the lair admires and views the many rouge Ghouls devouring, murdering and slaughtering the many humans in their path as many weaker Mercenaries were at the verge of defeat or some were putting up more stronger fights.)

"Triple Ghoul: The stage has been set and now the show can begin..."
"Saul: Shall we launch the rocket now, sir?"
"Triple Ghoul: ...We wait. I want to savor every moment of human blood spilt on the ground as their lives are forcefully taken from them."
"Saul: V-Very well, sire!"
"Triple Ghoul: ...Change to drone twenty, I want to see how the raid's going in Japan."
"Saul: Uh- Yes, right away!"

(With the push of a button, three monitors were swapped to the Mercenary Associations in Japan where the "top secured" association facility in Japan was raided by Rac and his lesser Ghouls as gunshots were fired from every emptied magazine to the last shells of ammo being fired at the Ghouls. With Rac confidently walking down the halls, he'd transfigure his own arm into a rocket while injecting his own blood into the rocket then fires at the remaining security, guarding the scientist labs. With the rocket exploding, the security was then dissolving of their skins and organs, turning into disfigured Ghouls.)

-Japanese Mercenary Association: Tokyo, Japan-

"Rac: You boys can eat those Ghouls, they won't fit well among our ranks."

(As Rac's lackey Ghouls began to eat the disfigured Ghouls piece by piece, blood begins to splatter from all over as Rac ventures inside the lab and finds the sealed case of Gonu's head, locked away as Rac begins to contact the Triple Ghoul.)

"Rac (COM): I have recovered Gonu, shall I return?"
"Triple Ghoul: Remain on standby as I transport you."

(Before the Triple Ghoul could transport Rac, echoing footsteps were heard through the halls as the weather immediately turned from gloomy to stormy. Rac unaware of the weather change, was suddenly caught off guard by a powerful presence sneaking behind him.)

"Rac: ...! M-Master! Transport Gonu..! QUICK!"
"Triple Ghoul: ...The damned Mercenary of Lightning... She's nearby..."

(With a quick plan of instinct, the Triple Ghoul forcefully encases both Rac and Gonu's head in his aura and warps the two out of the area and back into China. Standing atop a skyscraper at it's highest point is a long braided adult woman of pink hair, lightning bolted pupils, an emotionless glare into the horizon and the attire of a worn out kimono and the aura of a God, staring down at the destruction being caused by Ghouls.)

"???: ..."

(With the very thunder growing louder and the lightning striking faster, the adult woman then slashes her hand across the sky, creating a lightning storm to eradicate and destroy nearby Ghouls within the storm's vicinity, other Mercenaries of Japan aware of the powerful presence for it was none other than the Number #1 Pilar of Japan's Big 4, Fulmina, the Mercenary of Lightning.)

"Fulmina (#1 of Japan's 4 Pillars | Power: Lightning Spirit, Erosion Curse): ..."
"???: Fulmina, are you thinking about the wars once again?"
"Fulmina: ...Qiae."
"Qiae (??? | Power: Kitsune Blessing): I understand how difficult it is to remember such tragedies that occurred years ago. But we must focus on the task of today, the elimination of all Ghouls."
"Fulmina: ..."
"Qiae: Lost for words, I see? Or are you trying to concentrate on the Ghouls?"
"Fulmina: ...Both. But there's something else bothering me."
"Qiae: Hm?"
"Fulmina: ...Qiae. I cannot simply rest at night knowing there's a child in this very world with the power of a Ghoul yet wishes to destroy his own kind. I find it as blasphemy for an excuse to live."
"Qiae: Well, you never know. After all, we've been proven wrong many of times along the way. Tell you what, why don't I find this very child and have you talk to him? He could explain his motives along the way and if it's falsehood, leave the darling to me."
"Fulmina: ...Very well."

(With powerful quakes being heard across the horizon in the north and a noticeable white blizzard in the west, it was signs of both Jikouji and Goto at war as well with the Ghouls. With the count of Ghouls falling shorter and shorter, the Triple Ghoul would continue to watch as Gonu was being treated to by Saul. With the Triple Ghoul itching to kill Mercenaries himself, he'd continue to watch as he wanted to fill his thirst on the sidelines.)
