Zeya followed the old man’s lead. The only man only allowed Zeya, not Saw Nan Mon nor Shin Ye Htut, to come with him. Thus, he came alone. They reached the old man's territory upon opening a door in the weizzas’ hall.
It was an old wooden hut constructed in the middle of a thick, misty forest. It had a thatched roof made of straws. The forest was quiet as if there were no signs of life despite themselves. It was quiet, not in a scary way, but in a serene way. Although not getting enough sunlight, Zeya could feel a sense of warmth. The ground was mushy and smelled earthy. They went inside the hut. The interior was simple. Two or three mini mattresses packed with staws for sitting, a mini table in the middle, and a clay water pot hung from the walls, that was all for the living room. The bedroom, as he could see, was also simple, only containing a long bamboo mat, a blanket, and a chest. No pillow nor comfort. The old man wore nice clothes but lived modestly.
The old man made Zeya sit on a mattress and he sat on one too. He asked him if he wanted some plain tea and Zeya politely rejected it. Then, the old man snapped his fingers and a teapot appeared, along with cups. While sipping the tea, the old man spoke,“I know you are disappointed by the behavior of the weizzas. I want to explain to you about that. By the way, I am Kavisara (Kawaethara), the elder,” “A year before, we, the weizzas, got the news that U Agga had been doing things unrelated to monks. Thus, to investigate, we sent our best Nats (spirits), Min Mahagiri, Lady Golden Face, and the one you know, Saw Nan Mon, the witch,”
(Min Mahagiri (Lord of the Great Mountain) is a famous spirit (Nat) in the Burmese rural pantheon. Often regarded as the lord of all guardian spirits (of Myanmar). Known for his strength. Lady Golden Face (Saw Mae Yar), is the sister of Min Mahagiri)
The old man starts explaining what the trio encountered. It will be written down for accuracy.
That day, Saw Nan Mon went inside the monastery along with the two spirits. Min Mahargiri, being the chief spirit, felt hot under the collar to work with a witch. He kept talking about it all the time and blaming the head weizzas for making him walk with a witch. But Lady Saw Nan Mon didn’t mind.
Upon entering, they encountered the cyborgs (Or Nanarupas as they called them). It was an astonishing moment for the two spirits who died in 600 AD, and the witch born in the 1100s. They have never seen or thought of such technology before. Still, the power of spirits and witch’s magic had decent effects on modern technologies. It was all good fights and awe until U Agga showed himself up.
He pressed a button, and immediately, walls of electromagnetic waves appeared, caging the three encounters. The spirits were in one room, and the witch was in another. The spirits couldn’t get out of the electromagnetic walls. While trying to escape, they lost their powers and fell.
For her sake, the cage Saw Nan Mon was in, wasn’t covered in four directions like the one of spirits. Only three walls were covering the sides, and one wall was from above. On her back, there was the monastery wall, vulnerable to the electromagnetic walls. Quickly, she transformed herself into a snake and escaped the capture through a small hole.
After saying this, the old Kavisara said,
“As Min Mahagiri, the chief spirit got captured, no spirits nor weizza dared to go there,”
Zeya thought for a while and commented,
“What if they unite and fight, Bo Bo?” (Bo Bo (Grandpa) is a Burmese word used for respected elders)
“I have proposed that idea but the Shamballa council rejected it. You see, to make a massive attack with weizzas like that, we need approval from the leaders of Shamballa The leaders from Shamballa have ordered us not to touch the property of U Agga again. Now, I know that you want to know what Shamballa is. You see, my boy, the hall you have been to is just a sub-group of weizzas from Southeast Asia. Our main council and organization is at a place called Shamballa. We, sub-groups, can’t reject the order of Shamballa,”
After hearing this, Zeya was annoyed. Why did the Shamballa being protective toward U Agga? He thought. Perhaps, he should talk to the so-called council or leaders. But the problem was that he didn’t even know where Shamballa was. The old man might know it. But then, the old man asked,
“By the way, where did you get the mark from your chest?” Zeya replied“I think I cannot explain it clearly,”
“At that place you got, are there strange structures with four bases and pointy to the top? (Meaning pyramids)” The old Kavisara questioned.
“Yes, there were,” Zeya replied
(It has been explained in season 1 that Zeya got the ankh figure from a pyramid on an inhabited planet)
“So, you have been to the land of Kemet!” the old man said in a deep tone. Zeya was confused.
“No, Bo Bo. Never have I heard of or been to a place named ‘Kemet’. I got this mark from a planet, orbiting the third star of Orion’s belt constellation,” he said but the old man didn’t seem to understand. (Orion constellation is called “Maung Shin Sain Tham” in traditional Burmese. But since that name is too long, I will only use the name “Orion”)
The old man got up and went inside his bedroom. He opened the chest and grabbed a palm-leaf manuscript. It wasn’t written in Burmese but in Sanskrit. Upon the manuscript, there were paintings of gods, pyramids, and the Ankh figure. The old Kavisara spoke, “The source of our weizza skills and magics came from the land of Kemet, which the Europeans called “Egypt”. Long times ago, a group of gods descended from the heavens to the land of Kemet (Egypt) and taught us the magic skills and other skills of weizzas. In that land of Kemet, there were structures I have described before (pyramids). The original skills they taught us were so broad and diverse that no weizzas could master them fully right now. But we know about the figure on your chest. It is the Ankh, the symbol of eternal life,”
Upon hearing the old man’s words, another word from the Traitor Koed in the past also appeared in Zeya’s mind, “Once upon a time, An advanced alien civilization that somehow had some connections with humans buried their most powerful weapon on a planet, to prevent wars,” He assumed that the alien civilization Koed mentioned was none other than the “gods” the old man had mentioned. He thought of researching more on his Ankh Figure but the old man didn’t seem to know too much about its origin. Perhaps, he should go to Egypt/Kemet for a better understanding. Just then,
“Kling,” “Kling,”
Bells from the right side of the old Kavisara’s Buddha altar rang suddenly. He looked worried. “Ava is in danger!” he said. Kavisara created a portal and went inside it. Zeya went inside the portal, too, and arrived at a village at the base of Mt. Popa.
The whole village was in an unspeakable calamity. There were screams, there were cries, and there were curses. Smokes and flames covered the whole view. The imperial soldiers were arresting all young men they saw and burning down the houses that refused to participate. Zeya was stunned for a moment.
