AN: this will be either rewritten or discontinued

shit went so awry i couldn't look at my original piece. 

hello, im currently Floyohou but when i was publishing this story, i was "Siscreftgeth", or you may remember it as "LostImaginism" (idk what i was thinking when i chose these 3 names, but i'll stick to Floyohou from now on. u prolly dont remember so ig it doesn't matter)
i was eager to finish it so i hurried the last arc, but then they kept stretching and i didn't know how to end it and the happenings quickly trailed off from the original ending and the more i try to trail back, the longer it goes... the harder it got to continue. it even got to the point where character did what they wouldn't do (based on who they are).

it's been a year and a half since i started posting, and a year since my last update. i apologize for that. remembering back then, i really wanted to post immediately so i submitted my supposedly first chapter's draft. that's not even how it's supposed to start. originally, it starts at Xadulo's birth. plus, "Xadulo" wasn't her original name - i just changed it the last second cos i thought it was lame. this one is from a random word "sudoku" then i exaggerated the change. why sudoku? idk. the game ain't even have anything to do with her nor the story. that wasn't supposed to be "HEARTLESS" either (it's more of "The legendary Party's Journey"{too long + lame}, "Close-to-white Gray"{wtf does that even mean}, or "String: Origins"{could've been, could've not}). i also went fast forward to xadulo and carnelia meeting pablo as ch1 cos i didn't it want it to be too damn long. that's why the pace inconsistent.

my vocabulary here is small (it still is tho up until now). and the goddamn grammar. my characters are underdeveloped, so they change personalities too often. it's cringe and forced. my world building wasn't supposed to be this small either. my younger self prolly just put anything she wanted to in it. EVERYTHING'S A MESS. not to mention, the cover sucks.

i hated how this turned out. i still do. that's why i couldn't continue and thought of dropping it forever. but it's a shame to not finish this, so i finally got balls and is currently in decision. when i think of rewriting - "ugh, rewriting's a drag. it'd take me forever and it'll look like i already dropped it" -- but when i think of dropping it - "what a waste! without this series finished, i can't continue the rest of the Sky-Lands Tales, even tho that's the fun part" - i cant get my head straight. "but i want to show the end. but as it is as is, i cant even force in the end". it's a loop.

the ending was never shown. i don't want to spill too much beans, but this is basically how it goes -- 1) things didn't go as plan; 2) because of it, they technically disbanded, carnelia was left alone; 3) xadulo's revival was, uhh, patchy i should say, since it didn't completely "fail". she did came back to life, but has consequences 4) carnelia remained on land cos her host wasn't dead. to "atone" her mistake, she swore to stay loyal to xadulo's soul and be her demon for as long as xadulo's soul lives; 5) carnelia split xadulo's soul, which reformed, who she also served as her master and host.
that ends it.
but that also where the supposedly next series of sky-land tales (what is this even) continues. this time, not about xadulo n carnelia, but about the people that trailed off from their story (string). for example, the heroine's family tree is connected to Seril, in which seril made this family as the guardian of the legendary marble that was made from xadulo's eyes. or shit like that. (here i am thinking of a new series when this aint done yet, what a bad habit)

i'm in decision of whether i will rewrite this or not. 'this story is basically a backstory filler, so it's purposely made boring. there's basically no dept in it. thinking about it, i could just explain the major shit that happens here in the continuation'. but i'll toss that thought aside. im still reconsidering rewriting. BUT major things will be changed in the whole plot and story progress so idk.

all that's said, i will try to follow the original piece as accurate as possible, and do my best. besides, will anyone ever read this. do i even have readers who'll see this
