They strolled through the lively streets of the town, the sun casting a warm glow over the cobblestone paths. The Good Day's Rest Inn was a charming building with ivy climbing up its stone walls and colorful flowers blooming in window boxes.
Entering the inn, Olivia led Suzuka up a flight of wooden stairs to her room. The door opened to reveal a cozy yet elegantly decorated space. The room was bathed in soft sunlight streaming through lace curtains, casting a gentle glow over the polished wooden furniture and floral-patterned bedding. A plush rug lay on the wooden floor, and a small, neatly made bed sat against one wall, adorned with fluffy pillows and a delicate quilt embroidered with intricate patterns.
On one side, a few weapon cases hung on the wall, each displaying an array of finely crafted swords with ornate hilts and gleaming blades. Across from the bed, in a cozy corner, stood several mannequins dressed in various sets of armor - each piece meticulously polished and gleaming under the soft light.
"It's not much, but it's comfortable," Olivia said, gesturing around the room.
Suzuka took in the sight with a soft smile, impressed by Olivia's dual persona of warrior and woman.
"Your room is lovely, I like it a lot."
Olivia chuckled, a playful glint in her eyes as she closed the door behind them.
"Glad you like it. But now that we're here," she said, stepping closer to Suzuka with a naughty grin, "how about we test that softness of my bed?"
Suzuka blushed, her heart fluttering at Olivia's boldness.
"I'd like that," she replied softly, her hand finding Olivia's and giving it a gentle squeeze.
Leading Suzuka to the bed, Olivia's touch was both tender and eager. She pulled Suzuka into her arms, their bodies close as they kissed passionately. The world outside their cozy haven faded away, leaving only the warmth of their love and desire.
But just as they were on the brink of diving into deeper pleasures, a sudden, insistent knock shattered the tranquility of their shared moment. Olivia's playful growl of annoyance mingled with Suzuka's gentle laughter, both expressions of the interruption's unwelcome timing.
"Sorry, love," Olivia murmured apologetically, though her frustration was evident. She slid out of bed gracefully, her curvy form accentuated by the dim light filtering through the curtains. As she dressed, she cast a regretful glance at Suzuka, her eyes filled with longing.
Suzuka smiled softly, understanding the urgency of the situation.
"It's okay, Olivia," she reassured her, her voice tinged with disappointment but supportive nonetheless.
Olivia approached the door and opened it to find Thomas standing there, his expression serious and urgent. He wasted no time with pleasantries, diving straight into the heart of the matter.
"I'm sorry for intruding, Olivia, but we have trouble. I need you," Thomas said, his tone grave with concern.
Olivia's annoyance flared momentarily, another playful growl escaping her lips.
"Is it serious?" she asked, her voice tinged with impatience.
Thomas nodded solemnly.
"I wouldn't be here if it wasn't. We need to leave now. It won't take long, we'll be done by tomorrow," he assured her.
Olivia sighed, torn between helping her friend and her desire to stay with Suzuka. Her playful growl echoed through the room, a mix of annoyance and resignation.
"Fine," she relented, "but just so you know, you interrupted me at a very important time. You better make it up to me sometime."
With that, Thomas hurried out of the room, leaving Olivia to gather her thoughts and prepare for the unexpected journey ahead. She couldn't help but feel slightly miffed that her plans had been derailed once again. The prospect of leaving Suzuka behind for the night added to her frustration, knowing she wouldn't get to spend another intimate evening wrapped in her love's arms.
"I'm sorry, Suzu," she apologized, her voice tinged with disappointment.
"Some urgent matters came up. Thomas needs help. Probably some of our party members got themselves into big trouble. I'm sorry for leaving you like this."
Suzuka's heart sank slightly, but she nodded understandingly.
"It's alright. Just make sure everyone's okay," she replied softly, mustering a reassuring smile.
"We can double our fun next time we meet, you know."
Olivia's eyes softened with gratitude and affection. She stepped forward, cupping Suzuka's face tenderly in her hands.
"Thank you for understanding," she whispered, pressing a gentle kiss to Suzuka's forehead.
"I promise I'll make it up to you."
Olivia gathered her belongings swiftly, glancing around the room once more before stepping out into the hallway with Suzuka beside her. As they reached the door, Olivia turned to Suzuka, her expression filled with warmth and affection despite the rush.
With a tender kiss on Suzuka's cheek, Olivia murmured, "I'll see you soon, my love."
Suzuka watched Olivia hurry off down the hallway, her heart heavy with mixed emotions. The sudden departure left her feeling a pang of loneliness, the warmth of Olivia's kiss lingering on her cheek. She sighed softly, leaning against the doorframe and gazing down the empty hallway.
Later that evening she walked back to her room at Mystic Oasis Inn, her footsteps echoing softly in the quiet hallway. Her heart felt heavier than usual, a mix of longing and a touch of melancholy settling over her like a veil. The familiar scent of sandalwood and lavender greeted her as she opened the door, enveloping her in the comforting ambiance of her own space.
Closing the door behind her with a soft click, Suzuka leaned against it for a moment, her thoughts swirling with memories of Olivia and their time together. The room, dimly lit by the gentle glow of the bedside lamp, seemed to echo with the warmth they had shared earlier - their laughter, whispered promises, and tender caresses.
Suzuka sighed softly, crossing the room to sit on the edge of her neatly made bed. She ran a hand through her hair, her mind replaying the bittersweet farewell with Olivia just moments ago. The sudden departure had left Suzuka feeling a bit adrift, a pang of loneliness tugging at her heartstrings.
Just as she took a seat on her bed, a panicked knock rang out from the door. She frowned, wondering who could be causing such a commotion at this hour.
"What in the hell now? What with all the knocking on the doors today?"
Opening the door, she found Larry standing there, looking uncharacteristically nervous and agitated. His eyes darted around, and he was practically trembling.
"Larry, what happened?" Suzuka asked, her concern growing as she invited him in and offered him a seat.
"Come on, sit down and tell me what's going on."
Larry sank into the chair, his hands gripping the edges tightly.
"Helen, we have a big problem. The goblins... they got into some nasty trouble. Before you ask, no, none of them got hurt badly or killed, but it was terrible."
Suzuka, still calm, took a deep breath and placed a reassuring hand on Larry's shoulder.
"Calm down, Larry. Start from the beginning. What happened? One thing at a time."
Larry took a deep breath and began to recount the morning's events.
"This morning, I went to check on the goblins. As I approached the remote shed we housed them in, I saw the doors open from afar. I panicked and rushed to see if they were alright. If they were hurt or worse."
He paused, his face contorting with the memory.
"When I burst inside, the first thing I saw were two big men lying on the floor, their pants down. It was a disgusting sight. The goblins were strewn around the room. Some were brutally beaten, others were so frightened they were convulsing and huddled in the corners, and others lay on the ground, violated. Hatchlings littered the ground. It is hard to say this, but these two men defiled some of the goblins. They must have gotten so drunk that they accidentally wandered off and stumbled upon the shed during their drunk stupor. Basically what I am trying to say is that they raped the goblins, Helen. They molested and violated them. But that is not all. Hermit, the poor fella, he got the worst."
Suzuka's expression struggled to remain neutral, she was fighting to keep a straight face from chuckling.
"What? Pfff... What happened to Hermit?"
Larry swallowed hard.
"Another goblin tried to explain to me that Hermit tried to stand up for his fellow goblins to the two drunk men, like the true leader he is, but they made an example out of him, taking turns violating, beating, and doing other nasty things to him. Eventually, they even jammed another goblin's head up his butt to humiliate him further. Fortunately, the other goblin was saved as his fellow goblins helped to pull him out."
Suzuka's lips twitched as she struggled to hold in her laughter as she listened to what happened to Hermit and the goblins. The absurdity of the situation made it difficult to keep a straight face, but she managed to maintain her composure.
"So, you're saying Hermit had another goblin's head up his butt? That must have been quite the sight," she said, her voice tinged with barely suppressed giggles.
"That sounds... intense, pfff..."
Larry, oblivious to her amusement, continued, "It's not funny, Helen. Hermit and the others are traumatized. We need to do something to ensure their safety."
"And? What do you want me to do about it? Get a psychologist for them?"
Larry looked at her, his eyes could not believe Suzuka's indifference toward the goblin's plight.
"I'm serious, Helen. They can't stay here. I got those drunkards back to town, dropping them off by the first bar in sight but those men might come back, or someone else might find the goblins. And if they sober up and remember there are goblins nearby, they might stir big trouble. We need to move them, and we need to do it now."
Suzuka nodded, finally getting her laughter under control.
"Oh please. These goblins had it worse than taking some drunk dicks. These goblins were used for breeding more goblins, remember? They are used to that kind of treatment by now. But alright, Larry. We'll get them out of here. Give me time by the end of the week, I have all set to move out in a few more days."
Larry nodded, his shoulders relaxing slightly.
"Okay, a few days should be fine. I'll head back and check on them again."
As Larry left, Suzuka closed the door behind him, her laughter finally escaping.
"Hermit with a goblin's head up his butt... what a ridiculous sight it must have been," she muttered to herself, shaking her head in disbelief. But even as she laughed, a part of her knew they needed to move out as fast as possible.
