The 7th King Of The Seven Seas! (Part 2)

(After Imani and Yinlong's departure from the Dawn Kingdom, they'd venture further out into the wilderness of the Dawn Region to drive Aquor, the 7th Sea King further away from the kingdom and to fight. With the two as far as they could go from the Dawn Kingdom, Imani and Yinlong were then setting up a camp for the two until Aquor arrives for combat.)

"Imani: Yinlong."
"Yinlong: Hm?"
"Imani: Tell me, was the path of the sword the very first walk you took or was there another weapon?"
"Yinlong: ...Back when I was called Sinner, I was able to fight with any weapon or my bare hands. How come you ask?"
"Imani: I was curious."
"Yinlong: Even though it's a generic choice of a weapon and the most commonly used, it's more effective for me to use in weapon on weapon combat. Its quite embarrassing how someone once skilled at the blade of every weapon, decides to go generic."
"Imani: I disagree. The weapon you choose is your soulmate until death, not a tool used just for the act of self-defense or murder. Truthfully, I am married to the art of the sword. I will continue to live by the sword until I die."
"Yinlong: ...Imani, tell me. What's your story..?"
"Imani: Considering we're good friends, I could tell you. I'm not quite sure how to begin except, I was a former bandit. I once thrived to be the richest thief in all of Worldly Conquest. My former clan members who I used to steal with managed to groom me into becoming an assassin instead to kill those with high bounties."

(Imani then stares at the cold shining steel deflecting the sunlight off of her sword's blade.)

"Imani: I do regret taking the lives of innocent ones. But I did learn something from every life I took, I learned how to discipline myself when striking foes. I've took every job I could get until sometime later, I got too cocky and faced the former Number #1 Swordswoman in Worldly Conquest. Instead of decapitating me and taking my life, she spared me and slain every last one of my former clan members. I begged to be her disciple as I broke down in tears, finally being free but the weight of the innocent I've killed will never go ignored. I've carried their lives on my back as I've trained alongside her, my hero. Unfortunately 50 years ago, my master passed of old age and only left me a photo and a note."

"Yinlong: ...What did the note say..?"

"Imani: ..."You've learned all I could teach you before my passing time, I am grateful to have taught such a student as diligent and worthy as you. I bestow to you one final quest.. Become the next Number #1... Love, Kuyumi Engata. Master of the Next Number #1 Swordswoman."
"Yinlong: ..."
"Imani: As a child, I would've sobbed knowing my hero passed. But as the swordswoman I am today, I see no reason in crying over death. I've fought rivals, killed enemies, defended nations, villages and kingdoms. Until I've overheard about the War-Crazed Animatronic, that very day was when I've met Lady Kyilei."
"Yinlong: ...Rose.."

(She then nodded as she continued the story.)

"Imani: I managed to push her into running, but the damage I've received was permanent. After activating my 4th awakening, my body was able to tank her Sky Piercing Thrust.. But I was then unable to activate it ever again after that one fight."
"Yinlong (Thinking): No way... She can't activate her 4th awakening anymore..?! (Aloud): So.. If you can't activate your 4th awakening, how did you become the Number #1 Swordswoman..?"

"Imani: After meeting Princess Kyilei and her parents, I've represented the Dawn Kingdom in a number of tournaments, including the Tower of Combat. I became Number #1 after defeating the previous #1 in a one on one bout. I've challenged her for the title and won... But the price of victory was too heavy. As a sword wielder, the heaviest thing that was hard for me was to end the life of another sword user. As per the agreement of our duel, the loser would be executed by the winner and new Number #1 Swordswoman. I've been known through many nicknames, such as "The Strongest Woman" or the "Speed Executioner". The me you see before you retired those nicknames, only to be known as the Head Knight of the Dawn Kingdom and it's all I'd like to be remembered as to this day."

"Yinlong: ...w-wow... So.. Did you ever feel anything? Like..-
"Imani: ...He's nearby."

(With Yinlong immediately now on guard, he'd notice the smell of incoming rain as Imani senses a rising power level then volunteers to fight alone.)

"Imani: Yinlong, it's clear he'll be coming for you so therefore as your guard and friend, I want to fight him alone."
"Yinlong: ...Just be careful."
"Imani: I can't promise to be careful in a fight, it's a way of showing mercy toward my opponent and I refuse to ever fall again."

(With no more words to exchange, Imani then walks out of the wilderness and onto the now rain soaked path, the furious rains rushing down the path and onto Imani's soaked clothing for she shows no care toward anything else except the defeat of her incoming enemy. With one footstep closer, Imani sternly stares down a muscular and fight hungry Aquor with the thumb pushing her crossguard and Aquor's knuckles cracking audibly, Aquor then licked his lips at the thought of defeating then eating Imani to absorb her power and satisfy his hunger.)

"Aquor: A Guardian stands in my way? Don't tell me, you're one of the Adventurers that's come to stop me? I'd get here sooner but I've already had to dismantle more of those Rank 2 idiots... But what's different about you is, you're guarding Yinlong in the woods over there, aren't you?"
"Imani: Sir Yinlong is none of your concern. You will fight me for I will be your only opponent."
"Aquor: Aw come now, why can't you let the poor cub defend himself? After all, the weakest of any bunch is to be removed from the strong."
"Imani: As the top Guardian of my people and the protector of many lands, I will uphold my oath and vow I have given to myself at the very day I have first touched the handle of a sword. I will protect those who are wounded and I will defend those who cannot fight."
"Aquor: Quite the pathetic little speech. But nonetheless, I'll be rid of you.. and I'll be able to devour you and Yinlong whole... Now why don't cut the speeches.. and start our BATTLE!"

(With a quick punch from Aquor, Imani's lightning speed allowed her to resheath her sword before even releasing it, revealing Imani's speed to be far than expected. With a thud of flesh dropping onto the ground, Aquor looked to the right to notice his entire arm up to the shoulder has been severed, Yinlong watching in the distance was mesmerized entirely.)

"Yinlong (Thinking): She didn't even remove her sword and off came Aquor's arm..!"
"Aquor: ...Quite unsightly-"

(With the swift decapitation, Imani quick draws her blade, slashing and dicing Aquor in an omnidirectional direction as she then soars into the air with the ability of airwalk, Imani using her heel with enough force and friction engulfs her sword into flames, strengthens her gravity with a tornado of flames generating from the speed and force of Imani's swings. With all focus on her opponent, Imani controls the tornado of fire and with one direct and final sword strike, the explosion of explosive flames creates the roar of thunder, dissolving both the rain and its clouds from the vicinity. With shock on his face, Yinlong was once again in awe at Imani's attack.)

"Yinlong (Aloud): ...She didn't give him a chance to strike.. She finished the fight in moments..!"

(With Imani facing the opposite direction with her back turned from the injured and dried out Aquor, standing where he is with nearly any strength to remain on his feet. With the cracking scales off of Aquor's body, the left eye of Aquor snaps itself open as a powerful stream of water shoots from the ground into the skies, returning the rainclouds from moments ago but twice as strong, revealing a gust of wind such as if it was generating enough power to create a hurricane. With Imani expecting Aquor to regenerate or awaken, she turns around to face the now awakened Aquor. With the grass surrounding the two along with the pathway was eroded from the flames, washed away by the unforgiving rainfall, Yinlong protects himself from being swept away by casting a nullification shield around him, continuing to watch the fight.)

"Imani: ..."
"Aquor: Now.. I'm angry. I'll have to eat another Guardian besides you, YOU'RE stronger than I've took you for.. I'm now left with no choice but one option, I'm going to KILL YOU!"

(With the fog from the rain brushed away, the scales of Aquor were sharper and stronger, the extended tail behind the Sea King with the shape of a Tiger Shark was waving with the wind and the extended sharp rows of teeth behind Aquor's sinister smile were all revealed, showcasing the true power of the 7th Sea King. Imani then with no hesitation, draws a one star sword from her inventory, replacing it with her four star sword as she then strategized the fight with one glance. With Yinlong glancing from afar at the two powerful titans, he was unaware of the major damage soon to come to the entire area.)
