'Unethical' deeds.

"Ayane Nao... where were you all this time?", she asked.

Ayane was confused. What was happening?

"Umm... I was in the washroom."

"For 40 minutes?"

"Yes?"

"Are you sure?"

"Yes. I got locked up. Someone locked my stall.", she said in an anxious voice, still not knowing what was happening.

Everyone cracked up hearing her excuse, which was true. The homeroom teacher seemed even more disappointed.

"Ayane, I didn't expect you to do these kind of acts."

"What do you mean?"

"Don't act like a fool."

"I don't understand."

"Everyone in this class informed me that you were bunking the class by staying in the washroom."

The thought hit Ayane then. They set her up. All the people were against her. She understood that it was all Masato's plan. He was the main culprit behind it.

"But I am telling the truth! I was locked up!"

"Ayane Nao. If you want to lie then find a better excuse! What would all the students of this class benefit by setting you up? You think all of these students are lying and you only are telling the truth?", the Homeroom teacher's voice became serious. The room went silent and was filled with the evil grin of the students. Yuki avoided eye contact with Ayane at all times.

"But I am-"

"Enough! Don't get cocky and expect me to believe it just because you are famous!"

She was shocked. She never boasted about her popularity, ever. Then why was she saying such things?

It seemed like some students also falsely accused Ayane of doing 'unethical' things in the school premises and was getting away just because she was famous.

Ayane was already shocked at what her homeroom teacher was saying, but she had to add more,

"It is always the people in the entertainment industry with the worst of attitude and morality..."

The whole class was amazed at the homeroom teacher. She went out of character amd said that. Nobody expected her to say such things. Usually she was just a kind teacher. It seemed like she was very strict with rules and the accusations of Ayane doing unethical things and bunking the class made her mad.

Those words pierced the heart of Ayane. She didn't deserve to hear those words. She didn't deserve to be accused like that.

"Come with me to the office at once!"

Ayane didn't say a word. She just followed the homeroom teacher, being heartbroken.

"What did I do to deserve this? Can I not even reject a confession here?"

In the teacher's room, she was scolded a lot by her homeroom teacher about all things, including moral character and conduct, rules of the school and other things. She was given a two hour detention after class...

Ayane tried to speak up about her classmate Maya who saw her actually locked up in the bathroom, but the homeroom teacher didn't even hear her out. She was too consumed on the complaint of her doing 'unethical' deeds and was looking down on her moral character.

At the end, she gave up and accepted her detention with a broken heart. She couldn't get to meet with Yuki that day...
