Chapter 1:
Modern Enchanted Fairy Tale
Once upon a time, in a magical kingdom known as Adoria, a beautiful young princess named Elara lived in a castle surrounded by enchanted forests and sparkling lakes. Her life was filled with joy and wonder.
"I just wanted to have a happily ever after." Elara murmured to herself.
But then, the old witch came out from her portal and said. "Hehehehe, you think you've seen it all? You ain't seen nothing yet!" Then, the old witch daughter the wicked maiden named Lila, approached Elara, "You think you're safe here, my dear? The Queen's wrath knows no bounds!"
Elara's heart skipped a beat as she took in Lila's words. The evil queen uses her spell and the portal appeared, when Elara got sucked into the portal. The old witch and the wicked Lila laughed, as they plunged Adoria with fear and wickedness.
In the another world, Elara woke up and looked to the place. "Where am I?" Elara found herself in the bustling streets of Manila, Philippines. The noises of the modern world were so foreign to her ears that she had to cover them with her hands. The smell of gasoline and car fumes was overwhelming, and she missed the scent of the enchanted forests she used to play in. She was wearing her royal garb which made her stand out like a sore thumb amidst the modern clothes of the passersby. She stumbled through the crowded streets, not knowing where to go. Then Elara saw a truck headed towards her. She screamed and ran away.
She ran around, avoiding oncoming traffic, her heart racing as horns blared and tires screeched. People stared at her in confusion and amusement, their faces a blur as she searched for refuge. Then she goes to the alleyway, her royal gown sweeping the dirty ground. She stopped, panting, and leaned against a wall. The alley was quiet, save for the distant sounds of the city. She felt lost and scared.
"What kind of the place is that?" Elara thought as she gazed at the tall, metal giants called buildings that stretched into the sky.
When the local teen woman walked into the street, then teen woman saw Elara and blushed said. "P-p-pretty....cute!" She had never seen anything like Elara before, with her flowing dress and sparkling tiara. She approached with caution, curiosity blending with a hint of shyness. "Are you okay?" she asked, her voice a mix of kindness and amazement.
Elara looked up, her eyes wide with confusion. "I... I don't know where I am," she replied, her voice shaking. The teen woman, whose name was Mia, took Elara's hand and gently led her out of the alley. "You're in Manila, Philippines. Let's go somewhere safe, okay?"
Elara followed Mia when they are going to the farm fields, also they are arrived in the small guest house where Mia's family lives. Then Elara Stolas explained how she wound up in this strange place. "The queen, she...she sent me here. I don't know why," she said, her voice trembling.
Mia's eyes widened with shock. "The queen did this to you?" she whispered. She had heard of such things happening in fairy tales, but to have a real-life princess in front of her was something she never thought possible.
Inside the small guest house, Elara and Mia are entered the house. Elara looked to the house, it shows that it's not a palace but it's clean and filled with warmth. The wooden floors creaked under their feet, and the smell of home-cooked meals wafted through the air. It was a stark contrast to the cold, stone walls of her own castle, but somehow it felt... comforting. Then, there was TV and the game console that she had never seen before, but she was too overwhelmed to ask questions.
"Here we are, my home. My mom has to work much and my dad was working too." Mia said, as she led Elara through a door into a cozy living room. "You can rest here."
Elara nodded gratefully and sat down on the plush sofa, feeling the softness of the fabric against her skin. She had never felt anything like it before. Mia's home was filled with colors and items that were unfamiliar to her, but the warmth was something she recognized immediately. It reminded her of the comfort she felt in the castle's library, nestled in a chair with a good book.
"My father learned about the modern world where the earth has no magic, only technology. This modern world earth planet is so good enough." Elara said with wonder.
Mia looked at her with a smile. "Yeah, it's different from your world, but it has its charms. You'll get used to it," she assured her.
Elara's gaze followed Mia as she moved around the room, her curiosity growing with each new gadget she encountered. "How does this...box...make images and sounds?" she asked, pointing to the TV.
Mia laughed lightly. "It's called television. It shows us programs from around the world," she explained, turning it on to show Elara a nature documentary. The sight of animals she had only heard about in stories filled Elara with amazement.
As they watched, Elara felt a strange connection to Mia. Her kindness and gentle spirit reminded her of her mother, the queen before the current one had taken over. She needed to find the way to defeat the wicked queen and old witch and restore peace to Adoria. But for now, she was stuck in this modern world with no magic and no way to return.
Meanwhile, at the National Bureau of Investigation, NBI Headquarters. The NBI agents are watching to Princess Elara was been transported to the Philippines. The NBI had been monitoring the unusual activities around the world for weeks. They had intercepted messages of the witches' cackling and spells that didn't quite make sense until now.
"Okay, what do you think about this princess girl from the fairy tale world?" The chief agent mused to his partner, stroking his chin thoughtfully as they observed Elara and Mia from their hidden cameras.
His partner leaned back in his chair, arms crossed. "It's definitely not our usual case, but we can't ignore it. If there's a way to send her back, we might find a way to stop whatever the queen's planning next."
"Okay, it makes choices. Before to amused...." The chief asked, then a little mass blob of flesh came out to the chief and the agent, the blob flesh turned into a hot dog stove with hot dogs. "....hot dogs are now half off. I know it might be crazy, but you gotta try these dogs!" The chief said with a laugh.
The agent tried to take a hot dog, but the chief slapped the agent, only the blob flesh turned back into a normal and walked away. "Just kidding about the hot dog sale! Just neutralize the threat." The chief said sternly.
"Yes sir!" The partner nodded, turning his attention back to the monitors. They needed to figure out how to help Elara without compromising her identity or endangering her further. They knew that with the modern world's lack of belief in magic, the truth could lead to her being exploited or worse. "Agent Benedict, come in!" The chief called over the radio, "We have a situation. We need you to gather intel on this 'Princess Elara' and find out why she's here."
Agent Benedict acknowledged the call, eager to take on the unusual mission. Also, he was still wanted to know about this another one of the city's many unexplained phenomena. He headed out into the bustling streets of Manila, ready to blend in and observe from a distance.
