If you want a fairy tale to give a modern twist

It was a beautiful day, Elara and Mia are arrived in the school. Which they entered to the classroom, they sitting beside each other. They saw a lot of students, some of them are whispering about Elara's new arrival. They felt the awkwardness in the air, but Elara was busy with her thoughts about her mother and the mysterious message.

"I am thinking about how do we get back to my place." Elara murmured to Mia, her eyes glancing around the room.

Mia nodded, understanding the gravity of the situation. "Let's start by gathering information," she suggested. "We'll need to be careful who we trust with this. The wrong person could betray us to the queen."

Then Brittany walked to Elara and Mia. "Hello Mia, you are gone this to far!" Brittany said with a fake smile.

"Brittany, what do you want?" Mia asked, her tone a mix of annoyance and suspicion.

"Now my popular myself movie turned into a horror of death masscare!" Brittany exclaimed dramatically, her voice rising above the murmurs of the classroom. She leaned in closer, her eyes glinting with a hint of spite.

Mia and Elara are laughed at the scene, but they keep it secretly.

Elara spoke up, her voice calm and collected. "Brittany, I'm sorry if my arrival has caused any issues with your movie. I assure you, it was unintentional."

Brittany's smile grew colder. "Unintentional? My daddy got me a punishment for this mess!" She paused, her eyes narrowing.

Then, there was a girl with blue-purple hair and blue eyes, she wears glasses and said. "Brittany, stop."

Everyone in the classroom turned to look at the new voice. The girl with blue-purple hair walked over to the trio, her footsteps echoing in the sudden silence. "I'm Alexa," she introduced herself with a firm nod to Elara and Mia. "I heard about what happened last night. It's not your fault, Brittany. Besides, your movie is going to be a hit now with the real-life drama!"

Mia's eyes lit up at the idea. "You're right, Alexa! Maybe we can use this to our advantage."

"Fine whatever, I'm off!" Brittany huffed and stormed out of the classroom, leaving a trail of whispers in her wake.

Alexa shrugged. "It's the least I could do. Besides, I've worked as a scientist in the lab center here. Can you observe, what is science?"

Mia and Elara exchanged puzzled glances. "You're a scientist?" Mia asked.

"Well, let's go!" Elara said with a new sense of urgency.

Soon, Elara, Mia and Alexa are arrived in the scientist center. The building was sleek and modern, a stark contrast to the medieval kingdom Elara was used to. Inside, the smell of antiseptic and the faint hum of machines filled the air. Alexa led them through a maze of corridors until they reached a lab with a sign that read "Quantum Research."

"This is where I work," Alexa said proudly, swiping her ID card to unlock the door. "I've been studying interdimensional travel for years, but it's all theoretical. Until now, that is."

Alexa smiled and said. "I knew it, you aren't from the real world. I just love those fairy tales. But, we need to be careful. If the queen knows you're here, she'll do anything to get you back."

"Of course, I know that." Elara replied solemnly, her gaze drifting back to the flickering lights of the portal. "But I need to get home to save my kingdom. I can't just sit around and do nothing."

Alexa nodded, her eyes reflecting the seriousness of the situation. "Let's find a way to use this portal safely then. But first, we need to understand the rules of your world. What are the limitations of your magic? Can it interact with technology?"

Elara closed her eyes and her mind was flooded with memories of her mother explaining the intricacies of their world's magic. "In my world, magic is bound by nature and the will of those who wield it. It cannot be used to directly harm or manipulate the will of others without consequences. And as for technology," she opened her eyes with a hint of uncertainty, "it's something we are not familiar with."

Then, Elara's sensed and said. "The Transformable Book, in the library! It might have something about technology and magic!"

"Oh, it's from my school." Mia said. "The library is a good place to start."

The trio decided to visit the school library during lunch break. The library was a vast space filled with the scent of old books and the quiet rustling of pages turning. They found a secluded corner and pulled out the Transformable Book. As Elara touched it, the cover morphed into a glowing map of her kingdom, complete with notes scribbled in the margins about the interplay between magic and technology.

"Yeah, we should get some artifacts and save Adoria from that witch!" Mia exclaimed, her eyes shining with determination.

"Also, me and Mia are now fighting to the witch and queen, also we are dating." Elara blurted out, her cheeks turning a soft shade of pink.

Alexa's eyes widened behind her glasses. "Wait, what? You two are together?"

Mia's cheeks also flushed slightly, and she nodded. "It's complicated, but yes, we are."
