I awoke to a world I couldn’t understand,

And blamed myself for waking at all.

The faces of men who couldn’t bear the sight of me,

Venomous lips of women who couldn’t bother with a word back.

I still kept walking,

Waiting for a reason why.

Then I met you,

And the night sky filled with light.

I was born

To hold your hand.

To be brighter than the moon,

So I can lead you higher than this world.

Let the shadows be pebbles on your path

To the stars of dreams.

It’s all I can see,

My only wish is that for you.

I’ll obliterate the world itself,

Be the villain for every worthless life.

Let my bones break to shards,

Become the ash of an endless flame.

I was born in this world,

To die for you,
