Outside, Okisato turned as the nurse wheeled up Safumi.

"The hell are you here!?"

"For you."

Safumi recoiled a bit as her face went red. "Y- You trying to hit on me!?"

"No, you're-"

"I'm only 19, dammit, so don't you dare call me too old!"

"That wasn't my intention," Okisato sighed as the nurse parked Safumi before leaving.

Okisato then turned to Safumi and asked to learn more about her past. Safmui somberly shifted her eyes away before letting out a sigh and giving in.

"My body's always been shit. Ever since I was born prematurely, I've been on some form of life support. That meant I was pretty much growing up in a damn hospital. I hated it. Hated being confined to that damn room. When I grew big enough, I thought I'd be able to leave, and I did, but guess what, I ended up right back there after my damn legs gave out and I took a nasty fall. The scrape wasn't so bad, but the damn doctors kept me there for "rehab" and sure enough, another year in captivity. Then before I knew it, high school. I'll never forget the day some assholes toppled my wheelchair and laughed at me as I laid twitching on the floor. Somehow I managed to get up, but I couldn't walk without an odd gait."

"And that led to you turning to delinquency?"

"I'm getting to that! ...Yeah. Since an electric wheelchair didn't have enough horsepower, I bought a motorcycle and began using it as my wheelchair. And sure enough, expulsion, but not just that, jail time since I didn't have a license. But guess it was a blessing in disguise, as it was there that on my first day, that kooky maestro just happened to be touring the place. I guess every prison has chess, which is why she was there. Anyway, I played her in a bullet match, and boom, my talent exploded, and I was out of jail the next day. I did have to devote my life to chess, but that was fine. I could actually do something for once. Then a few years later, I got my grandmaster title and became and SPCM. But then that bitch Michiko fucked me up. Now I can't do jack shit."

Okisato stood in silence as he digested everything. Safumi didn't take the silence well and quickly ordered him to speak, which he did a few moments later. Though she was not expecting him to ask about the conditions Michiko had set forth during the wager.

"Huh, now that I think about it. I- NGH!?"

Safumi suddenly went green as her head began to pound and a voice echoed in her mind.

"Oh rebellious f-pawn. Thou seek freedom from thy chains thine body hath birthed. Thy foul mouth always spewing venom to ease thine pains from thy nerves. I strip thee of free mind and soul, a slave to pain and me, thou shalt become."

Safumi then let out a pained scream before going limp and silent. However, she soon began chuckling ominously before standing up and toppling her wheelchair off the cliff.

"Himitsusan, no... Michiko," Okisato glared.

"Pin-pon. But I'm now in possession of Safumi's body and voice, so just call me Safumi," Michiko sneered.

"So what happened to Safumi?"

"Oh don't worry, her consciousness is now stuck in my main body. And that's where it's gonna stay. Must be hell fore that bitch, but that's what she gets for daring to play faster than me."

Okisato noted that Michiko was still just as bad as she was when he last saw her, which meant just like before, no mercy or remorse would be given to her.

"But I am curious. How can you move properly?"

Michiko gleefully responded that it was due to the conditions of her wager. Conditions she would NOT divulge to Okisato.

"I see, so basically you made it so that you could take over ay of your proxies and swap places with them. And for Himitsusan, you made it so that when she became your new vessel, her body would no longer be able to feel pain."

Michiko paused for a bit, before a scowl appeared on her face. "You knew everything, so this was likely a trap to lure me out. Well too bad, but I'm not gonna play you-"

"You're right, this was a trap. Now When I win, your consciousness will be sent back to your own body while Safumi Bouzi's will be returned to her body. This will naturally be irreversible," Okisato glared as he pulled out a DESPER key and forcibly activated Michiko's DESPER.

Michiko's eyes widened as she realized the DESPER being activated was hers and not Safumi's. Okisato surmised it was likely due to the DESPER being tied to her conscious rather than her physical body.

"Fine, and when you lose, I'll have your consciousness shoved into my desecrated body as well. And it will be irreversible," Michiko scowled as she sat down at the chessboard that spawned.

"Perfect. As for the game, 2 minute bullet with 1 second increments. After all, you were bragging about how fast you were, so let's put it to the test."

Michiko shot Okisato a deathglare, but agreed to the conditions.

"Well time to wreck you again, then," Okisato snickered as he sat down and moved his pawn to e4.

Michiko scowled and moved her pawn to e5. "Try another Bongcloud, I dare you."

"Sorry, but that's not in the forecast, especially with such a fast time control," Okisato snickered as he moved his knight to f3.

"Ironic, considering many actually play it in blitz matches," Michiko scoffed as she moved her knight to c6.

"Well I could easily play it against you, but I don't feel like it today," Okisato snickered as he moved his knight to c3.

"Three knights opening, I guess I'll make it a Four knights game," Michiko mumbled as she moved her knight to f6.

"Forgot to add the Halloween gambit at the end!" Okisato snickered as he captured the pawn at e5 with his knight.

Michiko scowled and captured said knight with her knight. She knew the schematics of this gambit, but that didn't make it any less annoying to deal with.

"D4. knight g6, then e5 and knight g8. Bishop c4 comes next, so I respond with c6," Michiko thought as all those moves came to pass.

Okisato quickly moved his queen to f3, resulting in Michiko instinctively moving her pawn to f6, but that was a misstep. Michiko didn't realize it though, especially after Okisato moved his pawn to h4. But as soon as she moved her pawn to d5...

"Remember what signaled your demise last time? EN PASSANT!" Okisato manically shouted as he performed en passant and captured the pawn at d5 with his e-pawn.

Michiko immediately began to seethe with fury and captured the pawn on d6 with her bishop. "I'll kill you for that!"

"Well would you look at that, you're actually getting in character. Himitsusan was hurling loads of insults like that at me when I played her," Okisato snickered as he moved his pawn to h5.

"Well unlike her, I'M a maestro-level player! Check!" Michiko snarled as she moved her queen to e7.

Okisato simply shrugged and moved his bishop to e3 without saying a word. Michiko took the chance to move her knight to f8, while Okisato castled queen's side. She then made a blunder and moved her pawn to f5, allowing Okisato to pounce and move his h-rook to e1.

Seeing the attack, Michiko swiftly moved her knight to f6, while Okisato moved his pawn to d5. However, time began to run short causing Michiko to move her knight to e4 without thinking too much. Okisato gleefully captured the pawn at c6 with his d-pawn, and then low on time, Michiko had a lapse in judgement and captured the knight at c3 with her knight.

Before she could even react, Okisato instantly moved his bishop to g5. Her queen was screwed.

"Wow, you were right. Himitsusan played at a far higher level that what you're playing at. Maybe because she was actually a grandmaster while you... Hmm, don't think your bio said you had a title."

"I WAS A GRANDMASTER, BUT THEY STRIPPED ME OF EVERYTHING! DARIA, DARIA! IT'S ALL THAT BITCH'S FAULT!" Michiko shouted as she slammed her knight down on e2.

"And that's the march to the end. Looks like I'll be saving Himitsusan with little effort," Okisato snickered as he captured the knight at e2 with his rook.

Michiko let loose a frustrated scream and slammed her rook down on b8. Now mate was inevitable, and it began with Okisato gleefully capturing the queen at e7 with his bishop. Michiko instantly moved her bishop to e5, but rather than capture it immediately, Okisato instead opted to capture the knight at f8 with his bishop. Michiko on the other hand doubled her defenses by moving her bishop to e6.

"Look at you, hiding behind your bishops, welp time to start chipping," Okisato taunted as he captured the bishop at e5 with his rook.

Tears began to pour out of Michiko's eyes as she let loose another frustrated scream and moved her pawn to g6. Okisato chuckled at the spectacle and moved his bishop to h6 as Michiko dejectedly moved her rook to d8.

"Knock, knock, it's mate in 2. Check," Okisato taunted as he captured the bishop at d6 with his rook.

"NO! I put an irreversible clause on her, so I can't lose control of her body!" Michiko shouted as she moved her king to f7.

"That was between you and her, not you and me. But speaking of irreversible, you forget we put one on this match?" Okisato snickered as he moved his e-rook to d6.

At this point, all Michiko could do was scream and cry as she moved her king to e8.

"And for a little more disrespect... Checkmate, Ba-ka," Okisato snickered as her moved his rook to e1, winning the game.
