Chapter 4:
The Bleu detective sisters: Case of the bloody murder
I glared and grunted as Bella slowly began unraveling me. Considering how long it was taking, she must have used my full stash, meaning now I don't have any left for her. Dammit. Now I'll need to be extra careful about letting her run her mouth.
I guess I do have other options such as cloth or gag balls, but cloth you need to tie, and if I used a gag ball, anyone nearby would naturally ask why I'm carrying such a thing with me. That's why I went with duct tape.
Duct tape has many practical uses aside from sealing mouths, so it's not suspicious in the slightest to be carrying some around. However, now that all my duct tape is presumably gone, I'll have to make due with what I've got on hand. Unless of course we went back to home base. I don't actually know where we are since I've been passed out, but maybe, just maybe, it's-
"YEEEEOOOW!"
"Ah, only a few strands of hair got caught. Eyebrows still intact. Looks like you're cheap-o waxing stunt failed," Bella mockingly giggled.
There are times when I want to strangle Bella. This is not one of those times. I want to fucking murder her.
"Peh. Now calm down girls. I only allowed you to do this as training, but now it's time to get serious," Gyselle smiled as she freed herself.
"Wait, so then the reason you were tied up-"
"Training. You certainly didn't think I was like the two of you, did you?"
I shook my head as Gyselle nodded and directed my attention forward. Before us was a three-story run-down brick building.
"This is Mostique Mainard's hideout, supposedly. Well, you make the arrest," Gyselle smiled as she shoved me forward with a pat on the back.
Lovely. We're at that creep's hideout, and I'm out of duct tape.
