Chapter 11: Snooping

Man was this boring, for the past few days now they’ve been carefully following Mr. Harrison after school to see if they can find anything related to his problem, so far they got nothing. Clara suggested we let ourselves into his house when hes not home to look around, Alice hit her for even thinking that, she then proceeded to suggest that they ask him outright what his problem is, this earned her another smack to the head. What they learned so far was that he stays at the school until 5, goes home, then walks to the bar at around 6-6:30, he drinks just enough to not get drunk so he can walk home, its this schedule on repeat. Alice was considering Claras ideas if things kept going like this. Fortunately it didn’t.

“ I heard a rumor from Ms. Luna which she heard from one of her students, that Mr. Harrison is having some troubles at home, nobody knows exactly what though,” Clara informs her during lunch, helpful but not really. “ What if we involved a third party?” Clara asks very vaguely, “ I mean what if we got Ken to talk to Mr. Harrison while hes at the bar, if he can get him drunk maybe he can get him to spill?” Clara explains, this plan was pretty good, one of her few good ideas, you can tell she put a lot of thought into it. Clara decided to go herself to see Ken and get him to join their little plan. Alice would go home and wait, she should hear from her friend by midnight regarding Kens participation. Much to her anticipation the message arrived bearing good news, Ken had agreed to the plan only for the sake of getting rid of any possible variables to their plan on the 31st. I decide to message Clara regarding how we go about finding the truth,

C: The plan should go as follows, Mr. Harrison enters the bar

C: Ken follows, site next to him

C: he strikes up conversation and gets him to stay longer than he normally does, we go to his store the next day and find out what he knows!

A: What if

C:??

A: While Ken keeps Mr. Harrison at the bar, we find a way into his home do see if we can find more?

C:...deal

We had to wait for Ken to give us the date when he can execute the plan, which was a week later. It was currently Tuesday, October the 26th, we were running short on time, meaning we’d have to find the truth and kill the fractured soul before the end of the week, no stress. The school day finally ended, thus began our plan. Clara and alice came back at around the time mr. Harrison leaves to the bar, and on cue he does. They make their way around to the backyard door, Clara for some reason knows how to lock pick the type of lock on the door, she wasn’t gonna question it.

“ Ken just sent a message, he says hes going to keep mr. Harrison as long as he can, we have until he sends the warning text,” Clara says opening the door. They had about ten or so minutes to find out the truth, how fun.
