Chapter 12: More truths into the light

So far they found nothing, just normal stuff found in a home. And then Clara started going through the drawers. Alice wasn’t sure whether or not to be relieved or not but Clara had found nothing but kitchen things in the kitchen drawers, who would’ve guessed? We, more specifically Clara, moved upstairs onto Mr. Harrison's room, now that she thought about it Mr. Harrison was married, but it seemed like he lived alone? Perhaps that was whats bothering him. They made sure to be careful when looking, they didn’t want to find anything they didn’t want to see. Fortunately they wouldn’t have to stay longer, sitting on the nightstand next to the bed were papers, some kinda money transfer from one account to another, from what Alice understood the money was being taken from mr. Harrisons account and placed into someone else's,

“ Lets just hope Ken got something outta Mr. Harrison, I got the message we gotta go,” Clara snaps a photo of the paper before we headed out, the two decided to discuss their findings in the morning with Ken, so Alice went home to rest. After taking a bath. The next day had begun, they went to school and nothing out of the ordinary happened, aside from Mr. Harrison looking tired, she can only assume it was cause of last night. Alice and Clara head straight for Kens store, they both needed to hear what happened. Fortunately for them Ken was here, and it seemed he had found something.

“ Divorce,” is all he says, Clara had put the clue they found together with what Ken had said a little faster than Alice, “ Mr. Harrisons wife must’ve been cheating on him, so he divorced, but she also took his money, which would explain the transfers we saw!” Clara says, Ken nods his head in agreement, “ Harrison also said that last night, he found his wife had been taking money out of the account but he didn’t know what she had been doing with it. Then he finds out she as cheating so he divorces,” Ken had fully confirmed what Clara said, but this also meant that them breaking into his house was completely pointless. Now they’d have to find a way to deal with it before the 31st, which was this sunday. Alice had an idea, one that should work out well without disrupting their grand plan,

“ Our school is going to hold a halloween festival on the 30th, thats when we find a way to get Mr. Harrison when hes alone in the school and confront him,” the other two didn’t seem against it, with that they were ready, Ken would prep for the 31st while Alice and Clara focused on the 30th. Monster hunting, how thrilling.
