Have you ever remembered something out of nowhere, like it just appeared in your head? 

Well, that happened to me today. I wasn't doing anything as usual and then one single word popped into my head. Alan. A name I haven't heard in a long time. I am probably a bad friend for not checking on him until now. In my defense, I had a lot going on. Now though, everything seems to be calm so that must be why I got the idea to text him and see what's up with him.

I am pretty sure it's been over two months, so I expected him to be finally okay. We talked a bit and it turns out I was right. He said everything was fine now, but it will take a couple of days before he can go back to school. Come to think of it, it's crazy that we haven't seen each other in over two months. It was a bit necessary, given what was going on back then. I hope they act like nothing happened and move on.

What was exactly the issue between them again? Is my memory that bad I don't remember what happened a couple of months ago? They say if you forget something, it probably wasn't that important and I don't mind putting out of my head this.
