"No I don't.", Sayaka looked at her, trying to read her expression.

Ayane grinned. "Figures."

"Hey! That's rude!"

"Senpai, you are old enough to get married!"

"I am still to young for that!", before she knew it, she— and she didn't know why— was blushing heavily. She didn't give Ayane to use this situation to her advantage. "What about you! Shouldn't you be dating him?!"

Ayane's pale face flushed in an instant

"Seems like I hit the jackpot. I win.", grinning, she went to bed and closed her eyes. "Sleep tight, young light. You have school tomorrow."

Ayane sat there trying to figure out her feelings. She had been ignoring this question for a long time. Why does she blush so heavily at his thought? Why does her heart feel like it's going to explode when he is too close? Why does the subtlest things with him make her mind flutter? Suddenly, though it had rained and the surroundings had cooled to a great extent, her surroundings felt awfully hot. But it was not her surroundings, it was her.

Hundreds of thousands of thoughts ran through her mind like a marathon. She tilted and twisted under her futon, trying to get sleepy enough that her mind would calm down. How strange, a few moments ago she was so sluggish that she was about to fall asleep, but now, she was wide awake.
