Chapter 2: The girl's trap that began the game

That Girl, shes gonna pay dearly for messing with me!
Regulus Exclaims after having contacted a Russo bot to inform them about the deception.
We rewind the clock to roughly 12 hours before the games began.
Regulus was getting ready to go to the meetup location, when he was passed a letter by a mysterious teenage girl.
The letter content stated that there has been a change in the plans.
The meetup location was now at a hotel located on the far outside of the city center of Rome.
Before he could ask anything, the mysterious girl vanished.
Now, a normal person would have scoffed at the letter and ignored it.
Not Regulus however, see he is what you call an idiot of the highest order.
That is the true reason he missed the previous game, he had forgotten the location of the games and went to Romania instead of Rome.
IT took him a whole 24 hours before he realised his mistake, and to save face he pretended to have said he was always gonna withdraw from the game explaining his absence.
It was the case here too, he had no reason to believe this suspicous letter was anything but an offical letter by the Russo about the location change.
If only he knew...
As soon as Regulus got to the location, he saw a suspicous building that reeked of a trap.
For a normal person, this would have been a red flag to warn them that something is up, but not Regulus.
Oh no, he walked right into the building, and as he was looking around the interior.
BAM!
A giant cage fell on top of Regulus, trapping him in a space no bigger than a 4 and a half tatami room.
As Regulus starts to panic, he sees a girl at the entrance that he just walked through.
The girl had flowing red hair like him, but had strands of white mixed into it. 
She also looked no older than 18 and there was a giant scar on her exposed belly.
"Damn it little lady whats the big idea!"
Regulus shouted as he slammed his hands on the cage.
All he got was a cold reply form the girl
"I apologise Sir Alstone.
But you look the closest to me in apperance.
I need to pretend to be you for a bit, I've arranged for someone to bring you food and water everyday.
So just sit tight."
Regulus then watches as the girl leaves after her statement, but before she left fully he could hear her mutter under her breath.
The Russo will fall, Richard has to pay.


After banging and screaming at the top of his lung for a few hours, Regulus realise no one was around to help him.
He noticed the cage was made out of high quality Ronove and could not be shattered that easily.
He had no choice, he had to use his trump card already.
Regulus specialises in punching with lightning energy, truly a fighting style that benefits a simpleton. 
He wears a huge bracelet on both his hands and they can emit huge amount of lightning energy to punch stuff.
While there are many ways to use such a device, Regulus has always default to just punching.
His trump card that he's talking about is called Lion's Roar. 
Once a day, he can use all the energy stored within the bracelet.
They unleash a giant amt of elemental energy and can shatter anything without fail.
However, as stated it can only be used once a day.
Regulus was planning to save today's fist for the games but he had no choice.
He activated his lion's roar and managed to break free from the cage while also punching a giant hole through the wall. 
He then tries to run to where the original meetup location would be.
Unforutnately, he had already forgotten where it was.
His only hope now was since the game had probably started, to find a camera drone and get into contact with the family and warn them of the danger.

We cut to a tunnel somewhere below Rome, to 3 figures.
Their names were Ron, Reina and Rin.
They were discussing about the current events that had transpired.
They had hacked a few of the Russo drones for their benefit and can observe the events of the game.
They were watching the games while moving around mysteriously through the tunnels of Rome.
One of them then states,
"I hope Rilim-chan's Doing well, she always volunteer for the hardest role."
"I agree. she's so weak and soft hearted, if it was up to me, i would have killed Regulus instead of just trapping him, now hes free."
Another interjects.
"You 2 sisters are too negative, you need to believe in what Rilim-chan is doing".
The one who retorted was Ron, 
Unlike the 2 sisters, Reina and RIn, Ron believed in their master.
Although it wasn't faith and more blind love for her.
The 2 sisters retorted and called him a love struck idiot.
They then arrive in front of a large iron door.
The 3 of them had a role to play.
They were suppose to find and assassinate the council of the Russo family that were currently in their underground lair.
As they slam the door in, they realise it was a trap.
There was no one there, and only a ticking time bomb which exploded and blew up the room.


Back to the games, what everyone could see on the screen was a drone shot following Regulus.
Of course, that wasn't Regulus, but the leader of the trio Rilim.
The audience was starting to be aware that wasn't the real Regulus, for the real Regulus was known as a battle maniac who would scream loudly.
The current Regulus they see on screen, was sneaking around like a spy and moving from building to building. 
It was a wild contrast.
The fake who was unaware of all of this reaction had finally settled down.
She nested herself into a large 5 story building.
What no one knew was that this was all part of her plan.
Rilim was not the best at combat, and she knew that.
The only way she could even stand toe to toe with the monsters in this game was through her own way.
She had prepared for months and planted traps and bombs throughout the city that only she knew the location off. 
She planned to hide out in the building for a bit and wait for a bomb to trigger.
She would then fly to the location with her hoverboard and quickly assassinate the unlucky contestant.
A cowardly way of fighting benefitting a coward.
She was not proud of it but she knew this was the only way to win the game and meet her arch nemesis Rudolf.

As she ponders and start to let her mind wonder, she hears one of her bomb goes off.
As she slowly peeked her head out a window to observe the explosion, she could see nothing.
As she starts to sigh at how it was probably just a wild animal, she instictively realise something was amissed and quickly withdrew into the building.
IT was too late, for a flaming arrow was flying towards her direction, and Rilim just barely got grazed by the arrow on her face.
The arrow left a burn mark on her beautiful face. 
Over a 100 meter away from the building was the person responsible for shooting the arrow.
It was Roxy, she was originally just gonna hunt for Richard but she saw Rilim acting shady.
She knew the real Regulus and knew he wouldn't act like that so she decided to test her theory.
She knew if she shot an arrow at Rilim, if she was really Regulus, he would just deflect the arrow.
Instead since Rilim dodged it and retreated, it confirmed Roxy's suspicion that the current Regulus was a fake.
She then boldly exclaimed for the entire audience, that the current Regulus was a fake who infiltrated the games.
Rilim then starts to get upset that she was found out earlier than planned and she needed to get rid of Roxy now.
