Chapter 1: The 7 that were fated to meet that day

"Welcome world to the 10th rendition of the Russo War games, I'm your host Kogoro and the final game for the Russo wars is about to begin."
The announcer says into his mic for the world to hear.
The Russo war games is being broadcast on every mainstream tv channel across the day of December 25th to 31st December and the whole world tunes in to watch the games.
People will gather together at bars or clubs if they did not own a TV to watch the games, it was an event that had more ppl watching than the Olympics.

As the annoucement kick-started the game, drone shots across the city start to appear on the screen.
 The game that takes place over the course of the week is more than just a battle.
It's also a survival game where the contestants have to live in the city as they hunt for the remaining contestants.
 Each contestant will be airdropped to a random part of the city and are followed by their own Drone.
They have to find their way to the building designated by the family that only opens during the last day.
They also have to avoid not just the other contestants but also the many dangers the Russo's have planted across the country.
Stuff like robot enforcers or wild beasts empowered by Ronove.

Kogoro then gives a brief history about the Russo war games and explain that the game was originally held to grant the wishes of the chosen winner.
That winner whose wish was granted would then go on to serve the Russo Family council as a stakeholder.
That was the case with the current father of the Russo family, Rudolf Russo.
He won the 7th Russo war games and become the leader of the family by the time the 8th game started. 
Kogoro then speaks into the mic again "Without further ado, here are the lucky 7 contestants who will be fighting in this years Russo games."

" Hailing from East Germany, Reinhard Reed" as his name was announced, a platinum blonde young looking dude appears on the screen.
"Reinhard is East Germany's strongest knight who specializes in lightning sword style, sold to the military at age 13.
He made his way up to be the commander of the entire military at age 16 , the youngest to ever become a military commander in East Germany history."

"Next up we have someone from West Germany, a rare participant.
They have not appeared in the games since the 5th War, it's Rubert Stark.
Known as the strongest and last successor to the Aero spear arts founded by Timothy of Burgundy.
 His fight with Reinhard is still considered one of history's most interesting conflict to have happened in recent years and he's here to even the score with Reinhard."
The annoucement was played as an old man with glasses and white hair holding a cane can be seen on the screen.

"Next up, hailing from the united federation of south America, Ricardo Ectorius.
Son of the president who united all of southern American under the Russo's rule, he lead the charge against the rebel north Americans who tried to send the world back to the dark ages.
He was rewarded with a gift from the Russo family, a legendary shield embedded with aqua energy called Aegis. "
A tan man with a brown afro and many facial scars towering over 2 meters appears on the screen. 

"Next up, another surprise entry into the games. It's the mercenary from the United Arab empire who can snipe anyone from 152 meter away with her flaming bow.
In these trying times she can be considered the most reliable soilder the Russo's still employ to keep the peace, Roxy Amin."
 And on the screen, a flashy girl with short green hair carrying a large guitar case.

"Oh, what's this? We seem to have a non human entry into the games this year, an Android named Rover.
 Claiming to come from the capital of china, Hong Kong, our notes here says he cleared his competition in record breaking time and was allowed as a special entry into the game.
The council found it interesting to have a robot powered by nature energy as an entry."
And the audience gasped as they saw a plain looking human with no distinguishing features appear on the screen.
If they weren't told he's an Android I doubt anyone could tell the difference.
Truly Humanity has come far in the past 100 year.

"Next up we have the winner of the previous Russo War games, and now adopted son of our great leader, Richard Russo.
In the 7 year since his adoption, he made innovative changes like the Ronove for disabled people act and the Terraforming Antartica Act.
Both acts bought the Russo family to new heights and gave them even more prestige.
 It's no wonder Sir Rudolf  said he would step down as head and retire early if Richard won this year's games."
The crowd cheers as a man with long red hair and a majestic cape appears on screen.

"And last but not least, the dashing prince from great Britain.
Agreed by everyone to have been able to win the last Russo games if he actually showed up.
IF he didn't veto his entry into the games he would have beaten Richard, Regulus Alstone." And finally the last contestant appears on the screen.
A feminine looking man with similarly long red hair like Richard, but has strands of white on his hair. 

"And there you have it folks, all 7 contestants for this year's Russo wars game.
This year we added 2 new rules to make this game more special.
The first being each of them have a device that now shows and alerts the wearer if another contestant is within 100m of them.
The other is we have hidden special Ronove powered weapons throughout the city.
 I'm told they're special prototype weapons that will see release next year and this is their test run to be shown to the public"
kogoro has finally finished announcing everything and the game was about to begin shortly. 

Elsewhere deep in the undergrounds of an unknown place, there was a meeting held.
Seated at all the chairs were the various stakeholders in the Russo family with Rudolf sitting at the very edge of the table in the largest chair.
Chatter can be heard across the room discussing about the various participants with some even saying this could be a hard year for Richard to win.
In all the chatter, Rudolf said with a imposing aura,
"Do not fear my brothers, for this year's games is a little special.
We have a supporter who decided to pledge their loyalty to us and ensures Richards win in exchange for us granting him a small favor. "
As Rudolf finished his statement , the chatter started to die down, however the silence would once again be broken.
A messenger appeared on screen and informed the elders that there was a problem.
There was someone claiming that their identity was stolen and being used to enter the games in their place, he claimed his name was Regulus.
He left the council with a message demanding to cancel the Russo Wars as this imposter is very dangerous. 
Uneasiness started to settle into the elders again, as the clock starts to strike down on the Russo's.
