We are thrilled to share some exciting news from Honeyfeed and The Hivemind Literary Agency.
A story by Honeyfeed author and Hivemind member Pearlyn M. has officially been released today as a Japanese manga.
Sylas of the Azure Waves is now available in Japanese as part of the launch lineup for Twin Engine's new web manga label, Bibibi Comic.
This is an especially meaningful milestone for the Honeyfeed community. Pearlyn M. was the Grand Prize Winner of the MAL × Honeyfeed Writing Contest 2021, Honeyfeed's very first writing contest. To see a story that began on our platform make the journey to an official Japanese manga publication is a proud moment for everyone who has supported Honeyfeed and its authors over the years.
About Sylas of the Azure Waves
Humans and sirens have a long history of conflict.
For Marin, a high school girl who dreams of becoming a manga artist, her greatest source of comfort is Sylas Blue, a member of the popular siren idol duo Harmony 2U.
One day, Marin has a shocking encounter with the idol she has always admired. As the two become connected, she is drawn into the mystery surrounding a string of siren disappearances.
A suspenseful boy-meets-girl fantasy that bridges two worlds begins.
Please note: The manga is currently available in Japanese only.
