Two Honeyfeed authors are taking the stage at KADOKAWA's official Anime Expo 2026 industry panel!
Following their success on Honeyfeed, "frettiko", Grand Prize winner of the MyAnimeList x Honeyfeed Writing Contest 2025 – THE ISEKAI presented by KADOKAWA, and "kazesenken", one of Honeyfeed's most top-ranked authors whose work was selected for publication through KADOKAWA's Global Business Acceleration Program, will share their experiences during the panel "Make Your Debut as an Author in Japan!"
The panel will take place on Sunday, July 5, 2026, starting at 1:45 PM PT in Room 403AB at the Anime Expo Los Angeles Convention Center. Joining them will be KADOKAWA editor Satoshi Arima (The Rising of the Shield Hero, Full Metal Panic!), who will discuss opportunities for English-language authors to break into Japan's light novel, manga, and anime industries. The panel will also introduce the convention attendees to the next chapter of the KADOKAWA and Honeyfeed partnership by inviting them to participate in their upcoming writing contest, MyAnimeList x Honeyfeed Writing Contest 2026 – THE HEROIC FANTASY presented by KADOKAWA, which opens its doors on July 6, 2026.
