Synopsis

Four years ago, best friends Lucille and Regina made a promise to go to Japan. In the present, they are nowhere close to achieving that goal.

To make the best of the situation - and maybe just a little hopped up on copium - Lucille proposes a new plan: go around their own city and pretend it's Tokyo. With a reluctant Regina in tow, the two experience all the ups and downs the city has to offer, from aging subways to new public gardens and everything in between. As they peer deeper into a Japanese-inspired mirage, the city and the memories it invokes will force them to take a good look at their own realities. Don't forget to bring your towel.
