What we Dream

19 year old Asher has only ever known the mundane life of living in a small drab town with few residents and no people his age, always longing for something more thrilling. His wishes are answered when, after falling asleep one night, he wakes up in a dreamlike fantasy world.

As he explores throughout the day, he finds little, but shortly before nightfall, he discovers a quaint cottage along a riverbank. Inside, he’s greeted by a friendly family of parents and daughter who allow him to stay the night, but after falling back asleep, he wakes up again in the real world.

Asher goes about his day assuming it to have been a lucid dream, but when he falls asleep again that night, he wakes up lying in his bed in the other world, known to its inhabitants as “Reverie".
