Maboroshi Souji, the product of a forgotten generation, caught between cosseting parents and an isolating social environment, struggles to find a greater purpose in this dog-eat-dog world. With dreams of going pro as a musician, he latches onto this passion of his as the only thing he knew.

But all it took was a chance encounter with a talented street performer as he walked home from school one day to forever turn his life on its head. Enthralled by her mesmerising voice and powerful stage presence, he was immediately drawn to her. Their eyes meet, and in that fleeting moment, their fates become forever intertwined.

Step by step, they embark on a transformative journey of self-discovery and emotional growth, navigating various roadblocks while striving to reach greater heights in the underground music scene, as they learn to love themselves, embrace their passions and find solace in the power of music—together.
