Ichiro Ishii, a talented high school senior and star pitcher, appears to have it all—popularity, skill, and the admiration of his peers. However, a devastating injury during practice lands him in physical therapy, altering the course of his life. There, he encounters Izumi Nakagawa, a mysterious girl who is paralyzed from the waist down.
