How do you confess that all of the colours in your life are tied to the beating of someone else's heart? Following a life-altering accident, Shiro finds his world drained of all vibrancy. He and his mother move to Tokyo for treatment and rehabilitation, but he expects only shades of grey in his new life.
Shiro’s bleak outlook is shattered unexpectedly when he meets Hana, an infectiously positive girl with a love of colour-filled painting and an unmatched zest for life. Her vivacity pulls him into her vibrantly hued reality. Determined to repaint his life with her own bright colours, the pair form an unlikely bond - monochrome boy and rainbow girl.
As their bond blossoms and Hana's unwavering positivity begins to paint over the greyness of Shiro's world, Hana's own hidden struggles come to light. Will their shared feelings be enough to paint a rainbow across the grey canvas of their lives?
